Ordered a 10 ft truck with a ramp. No ramp when I got to my loading destination. Managed without but not happy about it.
CARMELLA VASQUEZCar transport worked well. I would improve the ramps so that it is a smooth transition from ramp to bed of trailer. I suggest an available winch for hauling disabled vehicles.

We got charged for a day more than we rented it for, plus taxes and insurance coverage for that day. the people at the store were not friendly at all and made everyone feel like they were an inconvenience. there was a heavy set guy that work the counter that used the F word all the time and was completely unprofessional. I will never rent from this place again which is sad because it use to be our go to place for all truck rentals.

Christina Gaines | First ImpressionsI picked up the uhaul from Medford was charged an extra 50$ on top of what I was already quoted then when I got in the truck they said it had half a tank it had barely a quarter then when I got to roseburg I had more gas in the tank than they gave me and I apparently went over my mileage by 11 miles when they gave me 120 to move to a place is 100 miles away not even with where I lived moved had to get gas and stuff and got charged again when I dropped the truck off honestly bullshit

Robert LaGroneI had the worst experience with this location. First the rental wasn't ready at the time I picked 7am for the 24/7 then had to come back in the afternoon because nothing was ready. I did get upgraded which I thought was nice but upon return it was a nightmare. The person returning the truck was beyond rude and trying to way over charge me. Luckily, his boss came out and gave me a credit. He was the only redeeming thing about this experience. I've done a lot of uhuals and this was the worst experience.

Yvoonne ManciniThe gentleman that helped me was nice, however, I waited for about 35 minutes to get helped, there were only two people working the front. the other employee was complaining about the lack of staff, an administrative staff person kept telling him he should not complain in front of customers. There were probably 12 or more people in line behind me and others left because of the wait. The first truck we got had a dead battery so we had to wait for a second truck. I’m not one to generally take surveys however, I think it’s important that this comes to light. I’m hopeful some resolution can come, I believe they are only one of maybe two U-Haul locations in The, Medford, southern Oregon area. sadly, it was really unacceptable.
Liz LittletonMade a reservation the day before. Got Email confirmation. Went in the next morning to pick it up with the confirmation # and email. They couldn't find it in the system. They started asking me all the questions that I already gave them when I made the reservation. A customer shouldn't have to repeat things over and over and over. The unorganized process blow my mind. I don't know if the problem is a lack of training or a bad computer system 🤔.
Ron RamseyWe were expecting a full fuel tank but when we rented the truck it had a 1/4 tank so we filled it to ensure enough gas for our move. When we returned it it had 3/4 of a tank and there's no compensation for the extra 1/2 tank we returned it with. It should be policy for compensation. The overall experience was good, just feel we got taken on the gas situation.

Connie TritchlerThe location is great and the employees are also fantastic. One complaint I had has nothing to do with the location or the people, but when I booked the pick up truck online it was 89 cents a mile. When I got to the location on Saturday morning, I was told it was $1.09 per mile on weekends. If that was on the site it should have been much bigger - or perhaps the rate change should have auto populated when I put my pick up date for Saturday. I know, its not that much money difference in our case, as we only went under 60 miles, but still. You can do better than what feels like a bait and switch tactic.
Channin CulleyService was slow. Attendant did not have tools on hand to help change hitch ball. Rental/reservation was unclear about hitch ball size (I could have switched it at home). Attendant let me drive away with trailer door open (he was right there checking the lights, "yup, good to go!")... short drive, dry roads, no big bumps to damage the door, no harm done. Reservation process required a cell phone... we don't really have a cell phone (in the old days the texts ya'll sent would have cost us $0.25/ea)... check-in process required a 2nd phone line (for a same day/local rental?).

Zachary LathropThe facility is packed with vehicles and equipment everywhere. The staff has to park thier cars back by the storage units and it makes it hatred to back out of there. The United were built so that one could drive around the building, but now there is equipment stored on one side right in the drive so that we can't leave without having to back up. The whole place is too small for the amount of equipment stored there. It's quite cramped.

When I got the vehicle I requested, the appliance dolly I also requested was not in the vehicle, nor did I have an employee get one. Had I been less scrupulous, I could’ve simply not paid, taken a dolly, and nobody would have been any wiser.

An elevator or something like a dolly to be able to move stuff upstairs would be helpful. The steepness of the stairs and the fact they are the same color as the floor makes it disorienting to try to walk down them with boxes in your hands and not worry you are going to miss a step and fall down them.

The online quote was much lower than what I was charged in person. I have done thousands of dollars in business with uhaul over the last 1 1/2 years and still have two units with you. Couldn’t be anymore unhappy with uhaul right now.

I ended up having to use it for a few extra days , and I did not have my phone service working at the time , but I could use the Uhaul app through wifi , but for some reason my truck rental was not showing up on my account otherwise I would have extended the rental on there. She was cussing about the computer system not letting her and another unit. She finally after we waited almost an hour got the unit and we started loading our things in it. When it came time to lock it up the lock holes were not even so I couldn't put our lock on it. I explained this to lady and she said let me go try after waiting again she came back and said ok I'm gonna have to call maintenance to fix this. In the meantime she put a small lock of her own on our new unit and didn't give us a key. We returned on Sunday the next day and the doors were being painted and we were told we'd have to come back in a few hours. No access to our stuff. On Monday I returned to the small lock on our unit still on and not even locked just hanging there unlocked. Maintenance has still not fixed the lock. She still has her lock on our storeage unlocked so basically I paid nearly 100 to put our belt ngings in a unit we cannot lock we were not able to access it on Sunday when we needed to get clothes for my daughter for school. So I'd really love my money back. The employee should have offered us a unit that was capable of shutting and locking. Also if painting doors that should be done on hours that are closed to business. This is absurd and terrible business if you ask me.

After driving 5+ hours and an email that said that the storage facility was open 5-10pm we were told that they don't allow people to load in after 5. We had literally no other place to put our stuff other than a small hotel room. We had a 5x5x5 unit and it's not like it would've taken us long to fill it. On top of that the facility was disgusting as well as the guys who were working. It was grossly irresponsible to use an excuse of we just haven't update our information on our email as justification for not allowing people but 10 minutes to load their unit. It was absurd, and we will NEVER use U-Haul storage EVER again.

It wasn't necessarily the employees fault but honestly I would never go back to a facility where you had to wait for an hour every time to open your storage unit. Apparently the it guy was on leave and the company wouldn't let them hire someone else, so my code to access my storage unit never got programmed into the system. I wasted so many hours of my life trying to get into that stupid storage unit because there was never more than one person. at the front desk and most of them didn't understand why I couldn't just use my code and I got forgotten about so many times. I understand its covid but its the higher ups fault for not fixing this and it was a pain. Good day sirs.....

Adela Lopez | Online Move InMy two year experience with Rogue Valley UHaul was beyond great until the Almeda Fire fallout and the ensuing madness forced us to move out of the area. I found it taxing to deal with all I was dealing with, and then to have UHaul not quickly enough recognize I had extenuating circumstances and aid in ending my contract. It was too much with the no response and continued charging. I do appreciate though that everything has been resolved and thank all who did help to do so. I will recommend UHaul Rogue Valley to others.

You should have one or two spots there specific for loading and unloading storage units infront of units. But all your U-Haul are taking all the parking. OR look into ADA accommodating people with disabilities
RYAN PETREA | Overall ExperienceParking was impossible. The reservation had to be redone on 3 separate occasions. Twice in one day within a few hours. The first reservation could not be found. It took almost 40 minutes to check in, I was charged first months rent when it was supposed to be free. The associated could not reverse the charges. We were late for moving help coming at 2pm even though we showed up 45 minutes early. There was a dead mouse in one of the units.
