Flora RI called the number on the card that was given to me. When I called. To extend the time the store would not answer or the number provided. And when I arrived. The guy” manager “ told me to never call him on his day again!!!! So unprofessional. And above that I was charged more than that I was stated. I’m never recommending anyone to that location.

JAMES TAt the pickup location, all of the employees I interacted with were very pleasant, professional, and helpful. They assisted me with adjusting the hitch ball position and properly attaching the trailer, and made sure everything was secured and ready before I left. The manager on duty (whose name I unfortunately do not recall) was especially efficient and hands-on. He was clearly multitasking and actively moving between customers and tasks, ensuring things kept moving smoothly while still taking the time to make sure my rental was properly set up. Overall, the pickup experience was quick, well-organized, and positive.

Ben HThey gave us a truck with no gas in it. Afterward, they charged us a $60 fee because the tank was empty. When we pointed out that there hadn't been any gas to begin with, they asked if we had taken any photos. This was our first time renting from U-Haul, and—assuming the employees had already checked the vehicle—we hadn't taken any pictures. They were extremely rude.
Selin HMy reservation was scheduled for 12 noon and when I got there, they indicated that they did not have a truck for one-way went back-and-forth with them as well as Customer service sat there for two hours trying to resolve this matter no one could assist me. It was not my mistake. it was U-Haul mistake towards the end of sitting there for two hours one representative there at the Western location named William indicated that if I had did a in city. They had a 15 footer and I asked what’s the difference and he indicated that’s around trip drop off at same location then I said no one explained that to me so you still have a 15 footer I will take it and do a round-trip he was assisted someone else and he knew my situation prior to helping that individual and it was quite a few walk-ins and I had a scheduled appointment two days prior to showing up at the location. He refused to give me that 15 footer and gave the walk-in person the truck very poor service from that location as well as speaking to three customer service rep the day before start off at 7:30 AM. Keep giving me the runaround end up finalizing. They had one at the Western location when I got there the following day it was an issue so no, I would not recommend no one to that location. And on top of it, I had to go to Obama and La Brea to get a 15 footer had to come back to Western location to get a appliance dolly told me I had to return it back at the location so I did a round-trip more mileage end up getting a bill close to $400 which that was not fair for me.

Stanley RI was prompted to check in through the app upon my arrival and had issues with this method. It took a long time to receive approval, the remote agent for information already provided, and essentially never approved my truck. It took over 15 minutes for this process before employees in person took over. The staff on site were very friendly and extremely helpful. They checked me in within 5 minutes after realizing the virtual agent was not going to complete it for me.

MELANIE MHad a fantastic experience with U-Haul during our move. The entire process was smooth, the truck was clean and well-maintained, and everything worked exactly as it should. What really stood out though was the employee behind the counter, he was incredibly friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful during a stressful moving day. Great customer service makes all the difference, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend this location and the team there. Thank you again for making the move easier!
Darren BThis was the worst experience ever. I was charged almost $140 dollars for a 2 hour rental only drove 8 miles. I rented the exact same one same exact miles about a month ago drove the exact same miles and was charged $80. The guy stated they only charged certain things when it “pops up” if it does or doesn’t. Then he stated he wasn’t able to call his manger because his manager specifically told him do not call him on Sunday because he’s at a wedding. This is ridiculous! There’s a total of three different transactions on my card totaling up to 200 and something. I will definitely not be renting again with them. He was charged me 60-70 for gas when I only drove 8 miles barely used any gas.
Galilea EThe sign for the returns if after the turn that you need to make to return, and we missed it. It wasn’t possible to back up, and the service rep didn’t want us to drive in and sort it out, but also knew we couldn’t back into the street. He yelled at us for a while and then refused to help us remove the car, despite it being part of the service I paid for. After driving across the entire country it was an unpleasant way to leave the experience. Other than him, the experience was pleasant, and I’m so proud of being able to do it! So thanks overall to uhal for that.

CHERYL SThe only thing that needs to improve is checking the condition of the trucks, mechanic wise before renting them. The 26 foot truck we rented started smoking and spilled oil.

DANILE BHad a tire blow out with a car on the trailer, when they came to fix they found a second one close to failing. The bolts holding the fenders on were too long not providing proper clearance. Trailer lights quit working. And I had to use the hazards in the car I was towing so people could see it as I was driving home at night.

Anita VI was supposed to get a fuel refund. Took pictures of my remaining fuel and he wrote down the remaining fuel and never got my credit refund for U-Haul. Ridiculous! Horrible service and makes overall company look bad because of one location. This is horrible service, I just haven’t had time to leave reviews yet and make a bunch of calls to U-Haul. But I’m not happy at all.
