The truck itself was clean but the right side, side view mirror was swinging freely so I couldn’t merge into the right lane. Thank god I was only going down the street but it did not feel safe at all and had to have someone follow me when it rained just so I can turn or merge right.

The app makes it look or seem as you can rent the same equipment at all locations. Which is not true! Thankfully I was able to find a location further away that had what I needed. U-Haul almost lost my business because of it!!

U-Haul app is slow and cumbersome. Also, this rental my truck wasn’t ready with requested blankets and dolly. Just made checkout extra slow. Really wish prices didn’t have so many hidden fees. Overall, experience was good and services provided were appreciated. Will rent again when need arises.

I’ve been using U-Haul for 30 years. This location is hands down the worst I’ve dealt with. The truck I rented was not ready for me. I couldn’t really complete my pre inspection because it was parked so close to the other trucks. When I got it home and ready to load, the lock mechanism was so bent it couldn’t receive a U-Haul brand circular lock. The truck had a padlock on a chain, but one half of the lock was sheared off making it unusable. I had to waste time and buy a lock after this location wouldn’t answer the phone. I got dumped into the main queue where after waiting. The agent couldn’t do anything except get these unprofessional dirtbags on the phone. This isn’t my first time dealing with this location and every time there has been incompetence. It’s like this location does outreach work for mental challenged people. I’m so angry about this experience that I’m planning on having my credit card issuer do a chargeback. Not only will I not spend my money at this location again, next time I might just use a competitor.

Inspect your equipment better before you rent it out to customers. I had to call road side twice to have 3 tires replaced before I even left my departure location. I rented a 26' box truck and a car hauler trailer, 2 out of the four tires on the trailer were bald and 1 tire on the truck had a nail in the sidewall rendering it usless. Driving 1500 miles across the country, I knew all three tires would need to be replaced. I didn't notice these things until I got to my house to load the truck, which set me back a full day making me miss a workday without pay due to waiting for roadside to arrive. Surely these things would have been caught if Uhaul could perform simple inspections on their equipment. Not even halfway through the drive one of the rear axle seals started leaking gear oil everywhere making me wonder if we were going to make it to our destination.... on a newer truck with 54k miles! I would rather spend more money with a competitor and get a quality rental like Penske. I should have checked the reviews on this place before renting. Buyer beware!

Picking up vehicle i had to walk to end of large parking lot to get. Front window/dashboard had cardboard advertising information taking up all of windshield. Truck was filthy dirty, like it had been sitting in winter parking lot for weeks not being used. Employee tried to clean windshield and actually made it worse. I then cleaned so would be safe to drive away and found car wash...all sides and windows and tires were just filthy dirty. I asked female employee how back lock mechanism worked and she had no idea but i figured it out. On a positive note 15' truck operated perfectly. To summarize, would have been nice that truck was clean and pulled up front at agreed check in time. Thank uou.

Too many hidden costs. I rented the truck whose base cost was only $60, and the bill climbed all the way to $140.

Alignment was horribly off and the front desk guy that helped us burped and told me my id was fake and said he just likes to mess with people. He was just all around a very weird guy and had no manners. Also the back of the truck was super dusty like no one had cleaned it and the gas tank wasn’t full. Not a helpful location.

This location was excellent to rent from. The issues lie in the uhaul app. Uhaul needs to improve location accuracy, ease of use and set up a business access for people who utilize uhaul frequently.

Always enjoy this location for easy access and quick service. Thanks, U-Haul team. Truck was 15’ and served its purpose. Appliance dolly was worn down and when I needed it, it would not lock/secure the strap to go around our washer/dryer in place, essentially being useless. By the time we noticed this, needed it, it was too late. Nothing like some extra manual labor to do the trick. Other than that hiccup, all went well for this move.

We just finished a long a complicated move using UBoxes. The Huntington hills location was great. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. My UBox was handled professionally and always made available when we needed it. I would highly recommend this U-haul location.

The UBoxes are poor quality, no one can confirm when the hours for the warehouse are (apparently not open Sunday but have been scheduled to get box then), and found different lock on my box.

They were three days late picking up the boxes, which caused problems. They never called me to tell me they wouldn’t get the boxes. I had to call each day and get an explanation as to why they hadn’t.

The people working in the warehouse are courteous, but the manager & entire experience with U-Haul was absolutely awful. I will never use U-Haul again, and neither will my family and friends.
