We wanted to pick up our trailer in Santa Cruz, but the evening before pick-up, we were told we had to drive deep into San Jose. Evidently there were no other trailers anywhere closer. The electrical wire to the lights was frayed, and the right-side break light/turn signal did not work for our two-day journey. My husband drove by a closer U-haul on his way to the Oakland Road one and they had plenty of trailers in the size we wanted in their parking lot.

joseph fThe rental agreement was for 1 day but shown up as periods showing a over charge to my account. I had to request a correction. For some reason unknown my reservation was canceled the day of pickup. I had to call in to make a new reservation.

joseph fHi, We noticed that some luggage had been left in the truck when it was taken, and we did not observe it at that time. Before starting our work, we had to remove the items and place them back in the truck after completing the work. As a result, some time was lost and additional effort was required. Thanks

JEANETTE VApp wouldn't scan barcode on receipt, making check out a nightmare. I was also charged 52.00 for gas, and I brought it back with the same exact amount of gas. Luckily I took pics and was refunded, but I had to go back to the store to do that. Wasting even more of my time! Please do better...

Vincent SThe staff did not open the office at the advertised opening time of 9am and only opened it 10minutes past the hour, despite being present on site. In general the site was understaffed and had long wait times despite nearly everyone already having pre-booked reservations. I was given a key for a van that was locked in by other vans. I was given a different van which had no fuel. No customer obsession was apparent in this experience at all.

John RWent through 3 U-Haul trucks to find one with gas. I had to check the cars myself because the 2 guys there seems put out to check after I brought back the keys to the first truck that was empty. They were more concerned about eating their food. I will not be back to their location.
