I was told I'd get an email receipt "later" when I returned the vehicle. It would have been more professional to provide it when I dropped off the key and returned the truck. I rented it for just under 2 days and thx rental was for 3 days. Is there a refund for the day early return? The person where I picked it up thought there would be.

A storage centre without an elevator is an abomination. You should mention that sort of thing when someone reserves. I noted that the staff was friendly, actually one person was very helpful, the other two were the opposite.

Nous nous sommes présentés et le camion proposé était enseveli sous la neige, aucunement déneigé. Nous avons eu un autre camion, plus grand, ne nous permettant pas d'avoir la hauteur libre de passage pour accéder à un garage qui était requis dans le déménagement, tel que prévu initialement avec le premier camion. Nous avons remis de l'essence dans le véhicule (facture à l'appui), et malgré ça, des frais de 38$ ont été ajoutés à la facture pour de l'essence. Lorsque nous avons emprunté et remis le camion, les employés présents étaient sur leur cellulaire et donnaient l'impression d'être dérangés. À la remise du camion, on nous a demandé de laisser les clés sur le comptoir. J'ai reçu un appel 2 jours plus tard m'indiquant que le camion n'avait pas été retourné. Après vérification de leur part, les personnes sur place n'avaient pas entré le retour du camion. Donc un service très très bas de gamme, des employés occupés à regarder leur téléphone cellulaire, des camions enneigés, des frais supplémentaires. Je ne recommande pas UHaul centre-ville Montréal.

J’ai heureusement pris la peine de passer en personne car ma réservation en ligne n’était pas valide sans que je m’en sois rendu compte. Il n’y avait pas le bon format de rangement, mais on m’a offert de visiter un espace qui conviendra finalement. J’ai apprécié qu’on se donne la peine de m’offrir une alternative. On m’a ensuite expliqué le fonctionnement. Merci beaucoup

J ai retourné le camion au même niveau d essence que lors de la prise en charge, et j ai été facturé de 60$ d essence. Lorsque j ai retourné l équipement pendant les heures d ouverture, j ai été voir l’employé au comptoir pour faire un check out et vérifier que tout est ok, il me dit juste de laisser la clé au comptoir, de plus il parle tout doucement sans jamais me regarder. Mon erreur est de ne pas avoir insisté pour faire la vérification, je n aurais pas été chargé de 60$ de plus.

Truck without traction for winter. Only rent in summer! I received a receipt for $73 but $94 was charged to my credit card. I called to find out about the difference and they told me that the difference would be returned to my card. I'm still waiting.

I was told by the clerk I would get a credit if I returned the truck with the fuel a 1/4 (It was between 1/8 and 1/4 when I got it). I returned it with at least 1/4 of fuel and didn't get any credit. Scam.

Make sure the fuel gage is accurate. Was told my truck was 3/8 full when it was much under. Was charged for fuel eventhough i told them upon return and showed them pictures.

The cost was double what I was quoted, I even used 20 less than I paid for and still wound up paying $300 for my rental and returned the van a day early, was quoted $150. Will NEVER use uhaul again

The truck couldn’t be dirtier. Aa for the exterior I understand because it’s winter but the inside of the truck was beyond disgusting. Dirty windows, the floor the dashboard , like it was never washed. Also the truck had a slow flat on the back driver side tire. Had to put air 3 times. Not the best experience

Because you asked, here is my story on uhaul service from yesterday : I arrived onsite ready to pick up the truck with the mobile app, just to see that I couldnt self check the truck, after a long try and fail. So I go to the desk and everything went well. Until I spend 10 long cold minutes looking for my truck on the parking, and had to come back to the desk for help (like a child not finding his toy that had to ask to his mother for help, lol), had I see someone else, she goes with me again, searching for it just to see it was not there, we come back to the desk and she gives me another truck, all good. Until the same thing again with this one. I go back to see an employee on the parking for help (I still dont find my toy, ma!), he goes searching with me and we finish to find it, but parked behind other trucks at the back of the parking. We go back to the desk and this time, it was the initial employee surprised to see me again so long after (45min), I had to explain again the whole story and she gives me a truck that was good. Not to mention I had 2 bags of protection carpet to hang around during the process. And the truck's gas level was almost empty (1/8). So I left really late to start my (long) moving day ahead, and a bit frustrated by this "first step". I don't know how do you guys (uhaul) keep track of where the heck your trucks are parked, but you would need a good geolocation system somehow. I guess I'm not the only one with such story. I have to say that all of the employees have been professional and helpful with me, I'm not complaining on this side, thanks to them! Thanks for listening, have a great day!

What I Unliked: I had an argument with your agent on Saturday 11 Jan. 2025 when I went to rent a minivan. This lady Maria (hispanophone, speaks french and some english) who I guess works weekends there, when you call to inquire about availability of the car you want or reserving a van, picks up the phone and says : "hold a minute" and then doesn't pick up the phone again. That day I called 4 times and was put on wait for 10-15 minutes each time and in fact I left from west of the city to the UHaul Montreal CityCenter (10km) by bus and metro anyways bcz. I was in need, without knowing anything would be available. The exact same thing happened the Jan.4 2025 when I called and was put on hold forever by this Maria 3 times, and I had given up going to rent a van. Know I am there, she has minimal customer service skills: put on a simple smile, be welcoming, grasp what customer asks you or wants, or even answers your own question 2-3 times !!.... She looks at you with frowns and as if she's suspicious of something. I had rented minivans from the same facility twice in the previous 25 days to 11 Jan. but they didn't have my phone number, email and even precise address acc.  to Maria ??!! Right when we were speaking 2 phone calls came that in front of me she put on hold and never got back to, although a young black male employee (he had glasses on, busy with a notebook) was right there to help, I guessed. To this I objected and told her so its you that put clients on hold in the weekends. Her frown and seemingly anger got worse but she didn't say anything. Then she gave me a car key that had no remote control abilities and I went outside in the freezing cold hardly finding it in the back row where vans are unused and under snow and with no remote, you will have a hard time reading the plate or other ID no. of the van. I just saw the client after me coming to take his van right there in front with remote functioning keys. I came to under cover van inspection space, where a UHaul service truck was parking and the 25-30 y.o. driver guy inside was reading something. I moved my hand in front of his window and he was ignoring me so I knocked on the window and he reluctantly pulled it down and I told him I have a hard time finding my van and complained that the lady who gave me the keys looks thinkywinky or tired and look what old kind of keys she has given me. He said in fact she is my Mom and was looking as if he was hurt, so I told him I'm sorry but that has no place in the workplace, you look some kind of controler in this yard and you better know what has made a client running in this freezing day asking your help. Then he came inside with me and told his mother (Maria) that I am saying she is stupid (which is not what thinkywinky means), to which I objected and retold that the issue is disregarding your customers on the phone and retaliating by giving them obsolete stuff when better ones that repute the UHaul are available. I found out this Maria's son which didn't give me his name, was the one who had charged me 280$ extra (on top a total fee of 130$) the 1st time I rented a minivan from this branch in early December 2024 for 3 days (and I had objected and resolved the issue) saying I had drove it more than 105 km (which in fact was 55 km) and then saying I had not filled the gas to the required level (the controling UHaul mechanic in fact had verified that I'd filled adequately), and then saying the right "light" cover on the back is broken and I had the photo that it was broken and taped when the van was first given to me !!...

Le service de la rue Notre-Dame a été excellent pour nous accommoder pour effectuer le retour de la remorque à Drummondville. On nous a offert un dédommagement pour compenser la destination du retour. Trois-Rivieres n'offrait pas de possibilité bien que c'était la destination souhaitée.

We truly enjoyed the experience with the U-Haul Du Centre-Ville De Montréal Cité 2000 - Entreposage (on 2000 Notre Dame E) the facility was clean, and any questions we had about accessing storage were answered promptly. But the highlight of our experience was definitely our interactions with Leticia, a staff member. We lost a necklace that was incredibly sentimentally valuable - it was my grandmothers, who recently passed. We were distraught, but when we called the U-Haul, Leticia helped us on her free time. She not only found the necklace, but she also fielded multiple correspondences from us to make sure that and kept it safe until we were able to send a trusted friend to pick it up (as we didn't live in the area.) When the necklace handoff happened, Leticia personally oversaw the affair and made sure that our friends' ID was checked. Overall, we are extremely thankful to her for returning us this invaluably sentimental item.

I came 30 minutes before closing. They asked me to put the key in the drop box, they'll do the check-out the next day and I'll received my bill next day. They charged me extra fee for the gaz, but I put more gaz than what they give me at the check-in. I'm sure if they did the check-out with me they'll never charge me extra for gaz because I could be there to contest ! I spent 20 dollars for gaz for 55km...I'm pretty sure it's more than what I really spent...anyway I felt robbed ! Be careful and make sure to do the check-out in person with the agent...

All went well, and the Cite 2000 location were Excellent A+ but We had to drive a total of 250 km to Montreal and back to get the truck because there were apparently non in the Magog and Sherbrooke area , and the the dealers did not respond to phone or text messages to tell us that until the day before.

Very poor experience based on the accountability of the manager over the elevators being shut down for weeks with no correspondence as to functional operation being restored. Notification over access to my belongings was limited to a single, unprofessional French text message. I was given a month's rent as compensation, but it wasn't nearly enough to cover the inconveniences I faced. Additionally, the delays caused by UHauls general service for truck rental forced me to travel far to another facility to pick up a truck move with. The staff was generally friendly while dealing with management but some desk clerks showed high levels of incompetence and disregard for quality service or any professional demeanor.

I’ve been very satisfied with your facility over the many years that we have rented a storage locker with you. But when you recently removed your employee from the front desk, it became much more inconvenient to access our locker, and it led to me to decide to move out. Your location isn’t set up as a self service space and you make us do more work than we used to have to to access our locker. I understand the decision to do this was from your head office in the USA and not a local decision. They should know that they lost at least one customer because of it. I will add that we didn’t even get an email telling us of this change. Anyway, thank you for your service over the years.

Vous avez shippé mes unox a lachine alors que je m'attendais qu'elle soit a cite 2000, je reste a coté de là. Lachine, à pied, avec vous idée comment c'esr faire ça avec du stock? J ai donc loué cette unité pour ca, et parce que rendu la, ca coute moin cher. Lachine m ont demandé de splitter le contenu de Mon ubox dans un nouveau. 1 mois gratuit, et apres ca, le 2e coute PLUS CHER que le premier, de genre 5$.. Je voens d'adresser la demande de transfert des 2 ubox pour transférer ca dans le storage. Pas possible avamt la semaine prochaine. He bin, lors de ma location de ubox précédente, ca a pris autour de 3 semaines avant de les recevoir. Si je lai ai la semaine prochaine, ce sera une tres grande amélioration ! Il me reste 50$ en credit ubpx a recevoir. J ai recu deja 50$. J ai un document qui mentionne la date de la livraison initiale, donc 2 jours = 2X 50$ .... Depuis ma location du storage, j'ai eu droit a un cadenas vert, pour m informer l obligation du cadenas-disque. Un accès suspendu pour je sais pas quoi, ils ont changer mon codeet ça fonctionnait. Maintenant, j ai droit a un "code inconnu" car vous avez supprimé celui-ci du système d'acces car vous voulez me parler, qu'ils m'ont dit. Vous serai presente dans 2 jours. Lors de mon contact initial pourla prise de possession de l unité, on m as dit qu ils pouvait pas m aider, tout ce fait en ligne. J ai donc niaiser 45 minutes afin que l application accepte les photos de mes ID. Pourquoi maintenant je dois constamment me présenter au comptoir. Il y a une section communication dans l'application, je vous invite à l'utiliser. Si ce n'est pas possible, vous pouvez tentez de me joindre par téléphone. Vous me faite perdre beaucoup de temps dans ce dossier. Si il y a un quelconque problème, je veux que vous m'en faite pars rapidement car je ferai shipper les ubox ailleurs et mettera fin a tout mes services chez u-haul. Ceci etant SOUS TOUTES RESERVES ET SANS PREJUDICES. Je vous demande à vous et votre equipe d'agir avec serieux et professionnalisme.... Les employés qui ont ete le plus professionnel dans votre equipe, c'est les 2 plus jeunes! Honte a vous! Merci, Philippe Darsigny

Flood damage on August 9. Elevators inaccessible for at least 5 weeks following flood. I was unable to move out on my scheduled date. This caused me additional expenses. Lady manager surly, unresponsive and borderline hostile. I had noticed before the events but it didn't really matter as I did not need to interact with her too much before the flood. I accessed the facilities numerous times in the weeks following the floods without having to swipe my card or speak to anyone. Security was inexistant. The hallways are still lit by temporary generator provided power and the restrooms are dark. No refund or partial refund even offered. Other than that, the regular employees are nice enough and the units are as expected. This was the third time I had rented a unit a this location.

I unfortunately can’t give 5 stars. The day I moved out my belongings the elevators weren’t working. This was a tremendous inconvenience and increased the cost I had to pay my movers because of the additional time it took to move everything out.

Following the flooding, i didnt have access to my locker for 3 weeks, no crisis communication from U-Haul (cité 2000 was managing the crisis but nothing from the headquarter neither). I spent hours to phone without getting proper answer. Finally, after three weeks, i was able to move in the dark (still no électricity). Everything was open without any security, no staff on the Ground. My objects could have been stolen. So i understand the crisis due to the flood but this is a very poor management of the crisis. Headquarter should have put more effort and staff to help local team to handle better.

Malheureusement mon expérience chez U-Haul qui avait été excellente, est tournée au cauchemard. J'aurais donné 5 étoiles avant de vivre le drame de l'évacuation précipitée mensongère. Victime du bris d'aqueduc, mon unité du 2e sous-sol a été inondée sous 12 pieds d'eau. Bien que ce soit la ville de Montréal qui soit responsable et non U-Haul, je n'ai pas apprécié la manière dont on nous a fait évacuer les lieux par surprise, sans préavis. Le jour même de la visite de constat des dommages, qui selon les textos devait être une relocalisation dans une unité sèche, on nous a demandé de vider notre unité, en mettant à notre disposition une autre unité, mais en précisant que "rien de mouillé ne pouvait y entrer" et que tout devait être sortit avant 5 pm !!!!!!!!! Dans la précipitation, impossible de trouver une solution pour faire sécher ce que j'espèrais essayer sauver. Même pas le temps de comprendre ce que je jette, tout est détruit on distingue plus grand chose. J'ai été forcée de tout jetter à mon plus grand désarroi, une deuil terrible, tellement cruel auquel je n'ai pas pu me préparer, alors qu'ils savaient ce qu'ils allaient nous imposer depuis quelques jours. Quand on paye un entrepôt, c'est bien évident qu'on a pas la place pour son contenu chez sois, donc non je ne peux pas prendre le camion gentilement prêté pour amener chez moi la boue dégoulinate de tas poubelles tristes. Désespérée j'ai pris quelques tableaux tordus, pourrit et délavés pour m'accrocher à quelque chose. 10 ans à payer un entrepôt pour garder en sécurité l'héritage familial, pour perdre la totalité de son contenu. Ils auraient pu au moins être honnête et dire la vérité dans les communications pour nous permettre d'avoir le temps d'essayer de trouver une solution pour faire sécher les biens. Je suis dévastée, en colère. Rien de ce que j'ai perdu n'est remplaçable, c'était des collections d'oeuvres d'arts, tableaux, créations, cinématographiques et théâtrales, scénarios, oeuvres professionelles historiques, fait par la famille. Des archives ancestrales de 5 générations. 10 ans à payer pour La Sécurité d'un entrepôt pour tout perdre. Les gens sur place ont été gentils, et re.plis de compassion... mais la direction a clairement fait une erreur en cachant la vérité les jours précédent la "Visite d'inspection de dommages et relocalisation", qui s'est avérée être : "Venez jeter vos biens, tout est perdu".

I'm super disappointed by my Uhaul experience! First of all I ordered 2 uhaul containers, I sent all the photos and necessary information for the delivery and then I've been advised less than 24h before delivery that it won't be possible. I had to find another option last minute, rent a truck and a storage. When I arrived the day after with my truck full I realised that we had stairs to access the storage!!!! nobody Informed me. Also the woman at reception was not friendly at all, really bah attitude and service. On top of that nothing has been offered to me, no discount for all the trouble! I didn't have other option at this time so I didn't have other choice than to stay but It's the last time I'm using Uhaul. It cost me more than it was supposed to do and lot of trouble on top of that.

On March 23, 2024, I was rudely refused to access the storage around 6:20 by your employee. The reason was that it was not open until 7 though on your website, the contract, and the store print clearly stated access hour is 5 am - 10 pm. He asked me to talk to his boss and cursed at me. It was unbelievable. I called the customer service and was told the manager would call me back. Today is April 5th, I have yet receiving any response from anyone. Overall, I found most employee at UHauls were friendly. But, that particular guy’s behaviour at this location and the unresponsiveness from the management are just simply unbelievable.

There was always disgusting junk in front of my locker left by other tenants. I had to make many complaints for that to be resolved and it would take too much time. I received an email last Thursday saying that my storage had ended and they were sad to see me go. Needless to say, during a very stressful and difficult time in my personal life, waking up to believe that all of my life's possessions and almost $20k worth of musical equipment and instruments was gone put me at the threshold of having a heart attack. I was disturbed by the lack of accountability or offering to make things right. The person who I called confirmed my locker was still locked and in my name and offered me a free month, although no email to confirm that offer came through and no one was willing to honour or even contact the manager for a reasonable conversation about a gesture towards my inconvenience when I finally did empty my locker one week later. I got out of there as fast as I could because you may just rent empty spaces but people fill them with their lives. Really expected some form of a gesture as the person I spoke to on the phone that morning said the email was sent to the wrong person and he profusely apologized to me. I have screenshots of the email date vs the date I actually checked out if anyone is interested in corroborating this complaint. The staff at the desk during check in and check out, although unable to help me with my complaint, were kind polite and professional.

I was initially (and repeatedly) informed that there was a problem with my storage unit payment by email and advising me to log into my account. Since I do not have an online account with U-Haul Du Centre-Ville De Montréal Cité 2000 - Entreposage (my payment details were set-up in person), these daily emails very stress provoking. They also did not indicate what the problem was and/or provide an alternative means of contact. After following up with my bank on August 11th, I managed to contact the U-Haul office to advise them that the problem was at their end (phone call/conversation also on August 11th). I was then informed that this information would be passed along to the Manager, who would text (preferably) or phone if further follow-up was indicated (no text/phone message was received). Unfortunately, the emails persisted until I then received a notice of late payment, but with specific contact information. I immediately followed up by phone (August 16th) and explained the situation, after which, the issue was rectified very quickly and easily. However, this entire situation caused me unnecessary worry, stress, and time, which could have been avoided by providing: - direct contact information (phone/email/webmail) for U-Haul Du Centre-Ville De Montréal Cité 2000 - Entreposage to facilitate rapid resolution/clarification of any issues; - additional information about the respective problem to avoid the email recipient regarding it as spam; - messages in both official languages (many 'movers' to Québec will not be completely fluent in French); - and avoid 'harassing' long-term reliable clients with vaguely worded 'quasi-threatening' messages.

What made the difference in the end was that there were no hidden fees and they did not require us to purchase their insurance (our home insurance already covers our property while in storage). The system doesn’t allow you to be independent. You always need to phone the Intercom when you get in and out of the storage. The issue is mainly the parking. In order to park the car you have to ask them to open the garage. To load the car there is a huge difference of level so that if you have very heavy things it’s impossible to transport them on the cart provided. You might need 2 people to lift any heavy object and place it on the cart. No assistance at all to understand where my door is, what is the entire process of registration, what they need. I had to go back and forth 3 times cause nobody told what was the entire process and they gave me 1 indication at time. The first Time I waited the agent to have assistance about the registration and I was addressed to another reception. They have me indications about where the office was but nobody moved to show me the way. Of course by being a place where I’ve never been there were different doors and o wasn’t sure the reception one was down the corridor. I had to come Back and ask again. Once there I had to wait few minutes and once avails they asked me a document I didn’t have and had to come back to the car to take the right one. I had already done the payment of the storage online and tought it was done. Lomg story short, also to find the door it’s been a nightmare as I was rushing and from 12.30 I arrived I got out at 3pm only to deposit 2 bags and little things. It’s a big no.

The staff for the rental unit were wonderful. Renting the trailer was the oppostie experience as it was a total nightmare. I would rent a storage unit again at this location because it is so secure but renting the trailer was just short of disaster.

The yearly increase should be within the Québec Rental Board rules and clients should be notified by email of the “automatic “ yearly increase. I reserved for move in date online, was provided a storage room...we get there and there was already a lock on it ( someone using it) so then im told there are no others free. Am given a temporary smaller unit on 3rd floor...we open it..the floor stained brown from drips from the upstairs unit and then we find USED NEEDLES in the crack at the top ( dropped from top unit) i can just imagine what those brown stains were from...was given no other solution. We cancelled and returned home. I will never use uhaul storage they have poor service and allow drug use in their facilities. They obviously do not follow protocol and customer service is horrible.

The only concerns about it is the fact that its tooo warm! All the time all years long… and a little dusty… a had two sofa there for few monts… and i had to clean it whit a carpet steem machine after! But the rest was perfect!

I spent a week refreshing multiple times daily online to find, and finally paid for a 10x10 storage unit, reserved a truck for my move a few days later. Upon arriving at the facility, my 10x10 unit had been given away to someone else because I hadn't moved anything into my unit yet. They waived the cost of two separate units for one month to make up for it but the belongings I have will not fit inside them as the ceilings are far too low. I did not get a guarantee on a 10x10 unit being reserved for me in the next two days, though I did get offered for that to be free for a month, if it were found. The person from the front desk helping me did not make a large effort to explain any of this, I needed to reiterate and ask a lot of questions to navigate and figure any of this out. Not impressed.

Petit problème pour enregistrer notre dossier. J'ai due revenir sur place pour faire ouvrir mon dossier après enménagement des boxes. Il est regrettable qu'une liste d'attente en ligne pour des boxes de grande dimenssion ne soit pas offerte par U-Haul. Et qu'on ne puisse pas voir le prix de ces boxes en ligne si aucun ne sont libres. Le site et l'application U-Haul ne sont pas très bons. Mon compte U-HAUL n'est même pas lié avec mon dossier de location d'entreposage...

L’entrepôt est généralement très propre et facile d’accès. Mon expérience avec U Haul a été une très bonne expérience. Afin que ce soit vrai, il ne faudrait que les payments mensuels ou prélèvements automatiques continuent. J’ai quitté mon espace de rangement lundi le 20 juin 2022. Et tout était en règle lors de mon départ. J’ai cependant oublié de faire mon code sur le panneau (log out) lors de mon départ, désolé…

Bien que l’équipe à la réception mon aider, ma réservation n’étais plus “disponible “ à mon arriver. Bien que réservé 3 semaine à l’avance avec un numéro de confirmation, on m’a annoncé à mon arrivé que mon unité n’étais plus disponible et qu’il fallait que je paie plus chère pour avoir un unite. On m’a dit” quelqu’un d’autre la prit avant vous”. Leur solution: Si je n’étais pas content, je pouvais aller ailleurs…. Après un déménagement, l’entreposage n’est pas une partie de plaisir et je n’ai pas apprécié que mon unité n’étais plus disponible et qu’on me laisse sans options et surtout quand je suis arriver à la date réservé sans retard. La superviseur des lieux m’a offert un mois gratuit, ce qui n’etais pas suffisant. Elle a fini par m’offrir assez pour comblé la différence de tarif pour le “nouvel” unité. Très insatisfait de la méthode de réservation de u-haul. Complètement unacceptable. Je ne vais jamais recommandé u-haul.

The parking lot is the only issue. Cars are parked for more than 30 min and sometimes is not even clients' but staff's. There are only 5 spots on the deck and 3 were taken by people working on site.

Le seul problème , il faudrait m'expliquer pourquoi je doit passer la carte avant de prendre l'ascenseur, une fois , je peux comprendre pour la sécurité, mais je doit TOUJOURS faire l'exercice DEUX de suite pour que l'ascenseur puisse fonctionner. Et la distance entre la boite pour passer la carte est assez loin de l'ascenseur, et moi j'ai de la difficulté à marcher, c'est vraiment épuisant quand on a un déménagement à faire . Très frustrant ce détail. J'ai pensé aller demander à la réception, mais le couloir pour nous y ammener est tellement long , que je me suis décourager d'aller pauser la question. J'espère avoir une réponse la prochaine fois que je vais aller à la réception pour faire ouvrir les porte .

Étant à la recherche de locaux pour musiciens et en ayant considéré plusieurs lieux, mon choix s'est rapidement porté vers Cité 2000 essentiellement pour le côté sécuritaire (accès par carte magnétique, nombreuses caméras, gardiens, présence à la réception 24h/24, quais de déchargement surveillés, plate-forme de gestion en ligne). Les locaux sont proposés à des tarifs abordables. De bonnes améliorations ont été apportées au cours des années : ascenseur, rénovation du hall d'accueil, machines distributrices, sanitaires rez-de-chaussée. Les studios sont inclus dans un bâtiment U-Haul ce qui pour les musiciens permet facilement la location de véhicules pour le transport d'équipement pour les spectacles. L'amélioration que je souhaiterais voir apporter serait une solide rénovation des sanitaires aux étages (mon local est au 3ème). Je souhaite pour ma part demeurer encore de nombreuses années à Cité 2000 car c'est une place stratégique et une communauté intéressante pour les musiciens.

There were mouse droppings on my furniture that was left on the ground of the storage. 3rd floor storage was OK but the 1st floor storage I share with my husband had this issue. It’s unacceptable. The staff is always helpful and kind, overall cleanliness aside from this one issue was good. There was no one to stop people from smoking in the dock area and wear a mask. The smoke was getting into my moving truck and onto my objects.

Within a couple of days loading the unit I found rat droppings everywhere and in and on everything... I commented it at checkout and it was not a surprise to the attendants. I also used 3 u-boxes during the same period... except for the moving helpers, which seemed to have no experience with uhaul and clients, the uboxes were clean. Acceuil vraiment excellent!!! Le personnel de tout le UHAUL ont été vraiment aidant et à l'écoute. Le seul hic est qu'en réservant mon uhaul j'avais lu que les heures d'ouverture était de 5ham 10pm et ce ne semble pas être le cas, mais le préposé à l'acceuil m'a rassuré que dans le besoin en de rare occasion ça peut se faire. Bref, mauvaise indication sur les heures d'acces en ligne. Sinon le service a vraiment été impeccable

We wanted to empty the sotrage but the U-Haul locker did not work even though we had the righ key. After the staff help, we had to wait 2 hours for a technician to come, after we had to negociate hard for someone to cut the locker as we were told initially to come back in the morning whereas we rented a car for this and needed the packages out on this day. All in all we had our packages out but the manager was not friendly and the customer service was from this person was not professionnal. It's ok to make mistakes but at least take responsability and offer the right solution right away whereas putting the fault on the client when it's U-Haul problem.

Système de carte d'accès sophistiqué et très informatisé mais J'ai dû m'ajuster avec quelques difficultés lors de ma première utilisation autonome. Il serait souhaitable de remettre à chaque nouveau client un document plus précis sur le 'ou, quand comment' de chaque étape (.Carte d'accès, Check-in initial, locations des points d'accès, ascenseurs spécifiques, , limite des déplacements, accès au débarcadère et check=out.) La première carte d'accès qu'on m’a remise était au nom d'un ancien client. Je n'aime pas être obligé de NE PAS prendre mon propre cadenas et être obligé d'acheter un cadenas de plus de $10. Sinon le personnel est poli, acceuillant.et serviable. Les heures normales d’accès ont été réduites pendant la pandémie et j’espère qu’elles seront rétablies dès que possible.

The new elevator to the second floor was non functional the day I rented my unit and as such had to move my things into a unit on the 3rd floor and wait for the following day to transfer my contract to a unit in the 2nd floor and move all my things again. Then on 2 separate occasions, the same elevator was not working when I needed to get things from my storage. Last week, I had to get a 300lbs piece of equipment out on a dolly from the emergency stairs because the elevator was broken again. I arrived at 11am and was told the elevator wasn't working. I left my number and asked to be called with an update and waited til 330pm before calling back and being told the elevator would not be fixed that day. I wasted half a day waiting and then had no choice but to move the equipment down the stairs in my own. I don't have complaints about the staff but my unit has a part of the it being taken up by a column and the unit is not discounted for the lost space, which I accepted. However, to arrive there to recooperate items and not being able to, on account of the elevator not working on more than one occasion, makes no sense. Further, I asked that management contact me regarding this and no one bothered calling. I suffice to say, I emptied my unit and didn't bother renewing it.

Thé receptionist during our first checking was not helpful. She was tired or upset, mumbling something and couldn’t even answer a basic questions as that was was our first experience with U-Haul. In the end The on floor guy answered everything and told her who to ask and what to do. It was a bit weird communication experience and felt like we owe something to her or disturb her. The rest was very smooth and well organized.

I had originally booked my storage with public storage and wish I never switched. Uhaul advertises a free month so I took it. I called to make sure that it was real, the uhaul employees assured me that it was and they saw my location that was booked for me when I put in my address. When I arrived onsite they charged me. Extremely shady business I can’t believe that’s legal. At this point what could I do? I canceled with my other storage and I was already there with all my stuff. I will now go out of my way to never use uhaul again.

The only day i need to get my stuffs from my lock, i was surprised by an extra padlock that didnt allow me to get in. I learned from the staff that my padlock is not allowed. Really ?????? If you guys want to force someone to use your proprietary padlock, please be clear about it, charge more, do weatherever, but never deny people from getting their own stuffs.

U-Haul Cite 2000 est toujours ma place de choix pour l'entreposage à Montréal. Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'utilisais cet entreposage et il est certain que je vais le réutiliser pour mes besoins d'entreposage futurs. Le personnel est toujours coopératif et le building est bien aménagé avec ses grands ascenseurs et le quai de chargement. Les. déménageurs embauchés pour transporter les biens du camion U-HAUL placé dans le débarcadère (PORTE 5) et recommandés par U HAUL n'ont pas fait un travail impeccable. Ils ont pris plus de temps que prévu et nous avons réalisé à la fin de ce déménagement que le loquet pour fermer un des deux entrepôts choisis ne fermait pas correctement. (N.B. Nous avions réservé les espaces 4002 et 4035). Selon l''employé de U HAUL MONTRÉAL qui est venu à notre demande constater les dégâts, cela n'avait pu être fait que très récemment. Cet employé qu'il faut féliciter a tenu à fixer temporairement le loquet pour que personne d'autre que nous ne puisse avoir accès à cet entrepôt. Quoi qu'il en soit, le superviseur des deux déménageurs joint par téléphone a assuré mon épouse Joëlle que nous n'aurions pas à payer plus que les deux heures convenues et qu'il verrait à régler cette question d'horaire avec les deux employés en question. Ajoutons que, de la part des employés de l'entrepôt lui-même, nous avons eu pour l'occasion un service impeccable. .

I got an excellent service from the first call to get information to the last day. Karine Mirambeau and Pablo from the desk office in Montreal-Notre-Dame were very helpfull in person & on email, as it was so complicated to reach U-Haul office in Montreal on the phone from Europe. They have been particularly efficient to solve my extension during the confinement, as I couldn't come to do it. I would definitively use U-Haul storage on Notre-Dame in Montreal again, and recommend it! My only reserve in the overwhole expérience is about reaching the specific storage office by phone from abroad: I had to give up to do so, after 20 to 30 minutes waiting. In the end, I sent a friend of mine to solve the problem in person at the office, and pay the last extra month.

The only concern I have with Uhaul is that on the last month I just used my storage facility for 3 days, but the person that works for you guys tell me that because of the policy of the company they don’t give me back the rest of the money for the days I didn’t used the storage. The main point of my negative rate it's your policy of payment of an entire month when I use it only for two days (when you move out). You should give people a credit that they can use for the next Uhaul location. With that approach you will be sure to have this client back when he needs a location and you will give a better experience. Clients like to pay for a service/product. First, the ad online is fake and wrong. Should say that the costumer is obligated to buy the locker. Second, the front desk request payment before showing the unit you are buying (which has stairs)!!!

The storage facility was much nicer than I expected. It was very spacious and seemed to be newly renovated. There was ample lighting and everything was clean and orderly. The lock was only problem.
