The price was double what was quoted to me on the website, and Express check-out didn't work, so I had to wait 1h in line. Further, the return didn't work either, my phone wouldn't connect to the location, so I will have to pay an extra fee. The truck was fine, the service was very much subpar. I will likely not use U-Haul again.

J'ai rarement vu un service aussi déplorable. La pauvre réceptionniste qui était nouvelle était toute seule .. ça a pris plus de 30 minutes pour 2 clients ... et ce n'est pas de sa faute car personne était là pour l'aider ... j'ai reçu la moitié des informations au Check In .. la porte du coffre du camion était mal fixé donc elle s'est ouverte sur l'autoroute... et au Check out je remet tout dans la boîte aux lettres sans avoir regarder quoi que ce soit ... du coup je me retrouve à payer 20$ de frais en plus .... c'est inacceptable

The app is slower than waiting inside. It took me more than 45min to get the car even if I've already completed everything in advance so I've paid for that time for nothing. ON top of which the app charged me in advance for an amount and at the end, the app send me a message telling me the price was suppose to be 30$ lower than that and I'v never been refunded. U-Haul stole approximately 50$ from me that day, I won't recommend it and I won't rent again there. The only thing positive, is the people who were working there that day, they were smiling and helping and I really appreciate their support.

I was wrongfully charged without using the truck. I couldn't locate the keys and the customer service was not helpful.


I was not given clear instructions as to how to return the keys after hours. Either the employee explained it and I didn't hear it (perhaps due to misunderstandings when wearing a mask while talking) or the employee explained too quickly and I didn't hear it. When I arrived at the U-Haul location after it was closed, and in the pouring rain. I looked everywhere for someone on staff. I checked the contract and it said go on the website, which I did but it would not load properly or at all. I called the 1-800 number but was put on hold for far too long. I checked the but it wouldn't load all the way through, I couldn't even confirm my location. I ended up leaving the keys in the van and locking the doors. I called the next day, explained what had happened, and I was told I would be charged 30$ for "a lost key" as I didn't put it in the orange drop-box. I said I didn't know there was such a box and attempted to contact someone but to no avail. The employee said she explained this all to me and that I would be charged anyways. I pleaded that I didn't hear her say any of this, that there was no indication on the printed contract on where to return the keys, that the 1-800 number took too long, and the website would not load on my phone. I called later and she said the 30$ would be added to my bill. I said next time please indicate more clearly the after-hours procedure (like actually showing the client where the drop box is) and ensuring the client is fully aware of this. I also said this should be written on the printed contract (just in case the website doesn't work).I also said they should have spare keys for every vehicle. I liked the van, but am not pleased with the extra 30$ charged and am not sure I will rent from U-Haul again which I will have to do in a few months from now. I may go with another company. It is partly my fault for not hearing the employee correctly, but I would've appreciated instructions more clearly explained (and written down tailored to each location) regarding after hours return. 1- Le français est LE langage officiel au Québec. 2-J'ai une surcharge parce que le service était beaucoup trop lent à fermer mon contrat. 3-L'enregistrement en ligne était inutile et pas sécurisant. Ils ont dû refaire le dossier en entier à la succursale. 4-Manque de personnel flagrant 5-Véhicule pas prêt malgré un enregistrement en ligne une semaine d'avance

Long waiting line. It took close to 45 minutes to get the cargo van that I had already booked in advance, because there was too few staff to process the clients coming in. The van had some dirty cardboards and other leftovers in it. Also, uHaul charges a 5$ fee for using a credit card, which they do not disclose beforehand. Only upon checking my credit card transactions did I notice the extra charge. It's a pretty shady business and should be exposed. If uHaul is so desperate for the extra 5$, just integrate into your other charges, so we know upfront what the final cost will be. To be honest, your prices are competitive, but now I am left with a negative impression, because of the pricing "strategy". On the bright side, plenty of vans in stock, which made a last minute booking possible, and a nearby gas station, which makes for easy fueling before return. This location is close to a metro station, which makes it more accessible to people without a car.

The keys of the truck wasn't in key box, i was obliged to go to the store to have the keys. Your check out tool must be integrated in your mobile app because navigation on your website is difficult and have a lot of bugs

The interfacing on the UHaul app for 24hr pick up is NOT user friendly. It took me almost an hour to get it to work. If I didn't get help from a very kind Uhaul employee who just happened to be there after closing time, I would have been SOL. Thank you, Chris. UHaul, you need to work on your app.

Too few staff at the desk. I waited 30 minutes despite arriving at my scheduled pickup time. I frequently rent trailers and really wish there was a faster way to get going

Incorrectly allowed me to rent the truck at 7:30 and they didn't open until 9 I has to stand outside in the freezing cold without any help. The on call took forever ans acted like I was in the wrong Now I have my Bill and I have hidden fees on it that wasn't on the bill last time I rented the truck Terrible service terrible help I will never use your service again

One thing I didn't like was my bill was generated for $39.86 but when I paid with card, my bank statement shows that they deducted $41.55. I didn't understand that difference. It is not big concern though.

I did all the process online but when we arrived at the truck for pick up, someone else must of gotten the same code as our truck left the minute we found it in the lot. We then did the cue but he had a very small window in time to do our move so totally bumped the line and told the Uhaul employee, we did everything online and our truck is gone, help me please, so he took on my reservation even though it was crazy busy, took me in charge, found the truck, got it, it was very cleaned. Couldn't get out cause I was blocked my a cement road block and 2 other u-hauk trucks. Went back in and told him, I must get out now, he immediately found the other two keys and moved the trucks and off I went. the drive was smooth, finished our move within 3 hours, went back (a lot less busy than in the morning) and got my receipt online. It was very well managed for my situation. Thank you

Mobile pick-up didn't work. I couldn't take a picture at either pick-up or drop-off, causing me to be charged extra fees. Please fix this.
