Capitol St. location because, as it turned out, they were MUCH closer, and they were very unhelpful, bordering on rude. Lousy attitude. As a result, I had to drive to MD on a Friday during rush hour. Jennifer AI rented a furniture dolly. It's $12-15 dollars. However, they charge you $40 dollars if you need to keep it an extra day during your rental. So I paid 40 dollars for an extra day, for the U-haul truck. And they charged me $40 dollars for the dolly. Ridiculous. I have submitted a complaint to corporate. The workers themselves were nice but the pricing is completely upside down. If you get a u-haul, NEVER get a dolly. You can get one at Walmart for less than 40.

ALFRED BAmber and the rest of the staff were so very pleasant. I want to also mention that the woman who handled my rental process at the front desk was the best she had wonderful customer service and she walked me through the entire registration process again she’s the BEST!
Gerard TRequiring all guests to use the online check-in without having proper instructions regardless of the type of pick up selected during the reservation was counterproductive. There was no clear line within the store itself to pick up keys, which created unnecessary confusion and a lengthy process.

kevin mThe customer service was amazing but the equipment sucked the ratchets were so rusty. They were not functioning properly. I had to call roadside assistance to help get the straps off my tire. Roadside did come with an hour; I was very much appreciative of that.
Mercedes JMaking sure your representatives and Wifi computer equipment is working and they know how to use it. I feel if I made a reservation a week but person couldn't get me serviced after 1 to two hours is sad. Watching other customers be waited on and out the number was about 5.

Ramondia SOne thing you can improve is the computer system at the counters. I came to check out and the system was down completely. I had to wait thirty minutes or more to complete my purchase. The employee stated this normally happens on a daily basis or every so often. I wish it was more convenient because time is everything.

DANA JI was redirected to this location after I was informed that the van I reserved was not available at the location I booked it at. When I picked up the van, it reeked of marijuana smoke and was extremely dirty inside the cab. The surfaces were sticky and covered in dirt and crumbs. The check tire pressure light was also on. I asked a U-Haul staff member about the light and he said it was just the sensor and not to worry. I also let him know that the cab was not clean, and he did a little cleaning on the spot, but it was still quite dirty.

Rudolph DThe proffesionalism and kindness of the staff varied based on their mood. Getting started was a nightmare yet pressed for time I stayed there. The storage units there are the back halves of older 10ft trucks placed side by side. Being kept outside I should have been able to have 24 access. I am sure the manager tried her best but this location was the location for extra trucks. There is no customer parking available yet they managed to fill every inch with a truck. First few times I had to request to have a truck removed from infront of my storage unit. After that, they avoided parking one infront of my unit. I made it a point to have everyting out within my 30 days. I refused to pay close to $200.00 a month with the service and inconvenience I was put thru. My leaving seemed to have made everyone happy including myself. Again, I am sure the manager did her best. The individual that opened my account was the worst. She showed no signs of wanting to help me. But had no issues helping others that came in after me. I wanted to F******** scream. The guys at this location seemed much more accomidating, friendlier, and very helpful I wish I had gotten names. Not that it matters I hope to never have to go back there again.
