I came into the facility as I needed to update my autopay for my unit as my checking account changed due to a merge. I was told I couldn't use my checking account to do this and had to iise a debit/credit card. In the mean time the staff was more concerned with video games etc. and it wasapparent the associate didn't hear my need after explaining twice. Once I paid my monthly fee I asked was this set up on auto payment, had to look at the screen as he was leaving, said yes ,and told me to I can call back if needed then walked away. Associate distracted, not focused on the customer for a simple transaction and not confident my acct is set up correctly. Most likely will need to call again. I ended up running a trailer a 5 by 9 trailer with a ramp on it and I run a date on the 3rd of October and dropped it off 1st thing in the morning on the 4th of October this company charged me $180 because they didn't turn it in properly until just today I want my money back and refunded the $180 you guys took for meZACHARY H.
The employees at the Buckley Road location were not friendly at all and did not seem interested in helping me pick up the truck. One employee told another employee to help me and that employee said he was leaving soon so he could not help me. The original employee finally helped me and just gave me the keys. This is my first time renting a truck and probably the last with uhaul. I was supposed to pick up my truck TT 4320 E on 10/08/2021 at 8:30pm(which I made it on time), for my horrible surprise that the truck was blocked by 4 more trucks and couldn't pick it up. Agent was watching football game during rental. 1st truck had a spare on it. Asked for a swap and agent gave attitudes. Asked for manager and was rude roo. Swapped truck. 2nd one had a tire almost flat. Asked for air and said didn't have one. Tire was fine was just tire monitor issue. Not true tire had on 14 psi in it when I checked it. Refilled tire and kept losing air. Totally rude staff. Was also was trying to charge me more than the reserved rate. Want some higher up to address issues. This location was way under-staffed. The manager/overseer on Sunday, Sept. 26th, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. rudely shut the "office" door in my face as I was asking him a question; and there was a line of customers, and he did not come out to help. Normally, I like this location, for it is the reason I picked it; however, this time, both of my orders were messed up, and I did not know any of it until the "day of". The 1st was a order of 12 "ready to go" tote/boxes, [of which I ordered, both my orders, well over a MONTH before need of them] and was NEVER told you don't have them anymore. On 2nd order, the 20' foot truck, I was called on the "day of pickup" that I would have to go to a different location in which to get it, which was another 20 to 25 min plus drive then the already 20 min drive for me to the requested location. I had to settle for a 10' truck, at my preferred location; and yet when I got there, it seemed as again, only 1 person working the WHOLE place, and of course, a line of upset customers. The mobile app was extremely slow, probably, because the cell service there was low, [might be the reason for all uhaul computers so slow as well]; the truck for me was NOT in the area of where the mobile app showed me, so I had to hunt for the correct truck; once found, there was not the 2 requested dollies in the truck. When I went in to ask for dollies, I was told, without even a hint of apology, there there were NO dollies available... again was not told this in advance. The mobile app was so slow, that I didn't know that there was more steps to do to "check out" the truck, until after the fact, I had already left the uhaul location. Shortly, after leaving uhaul location, I called customer service line, and proceeded to be on hold for 20 minutes! Then when someone did answer, they said it was overflow to them, and proceeded to put me back on hold, to no one ever answering for another 15 mins, when I hung up and called directly to my preferred uhaul location. I reached the guy I had talked to, in regards to the lack of dollies [on Thursday, Sept 30, 2021 between 3 p.m and 4:30 p.m], about the fact that I had already driven off their lot before knowing that I had more steps that were to be completed for "check out" of truck; to which he proceed to insult me that most customers have no problem using the app. Thanks for insulting a customer... Really a great experience being able to rent a moving vehicle and be able to rent storage at the same place. Storage facility is quite impressive - from the security to get in, to the carts, ease of getting to your storage locker and it was really clean!!! Reserved the trailer at one location and then had to drive to a different location for pick up. One of the workers was back talking me when I was at the new location. He gave me a bunch of crap about my car being parked in the wrong spot. I had to go move it 3 times because of this. The guy couldn't find the trailer we had reserved and then something happened where they needed to switch out what trailer I had, and then switch back to the original when he found the one we had reserved in the first place(????). Took 45 minutes to get the trailer at the actual location. Absolute nightmare. I will do everything in my power to avoid this place in the future.KEVIN M.

I reserved a vehicle and a appliance dolly. We did not get the appliance dolly and basically told oh well. We had to hand carry a washing machine, king size headboard, and two large wooden dressers up the stairs by hand. The truck shifted at a very high RPM and at over 45 MPH the front vibrated. The young lady who helped me get the truck(Desaree Fletcher I think) was very pleasant to work with and helped me very professionally, not like in the past at the same location the counter lady was a total bitch. so check in gets 5 stars. when I returned the truck I waited for a few minutes outside and then went inside and three guys were standing in the lobby BS. I asked If i could get the truck returned and then a kid came out and took care of me , took about ten minutes as he had problems with his phone, he went inside and came back out and sad nothing is downloading and told me to go and would receive the info by email. Nothing came and called a week later and showed the truck was returned so she was going to turn the paper work over to her manager to see what happened, As of this morning no return paperwork and my credit card has not been billed yet so I take it i got a free rental for the day. The only reason I give this location an Above Average (4 star rating) was the customer service I received when I rented the truck. Otherwise I would have rated this location as Poor and this is why: The windshield of the truck I was rented was filthy and I could barely see out the windshield. Also the cup holder which is on the back of the middle section of seat when folded down was filthy and sticky from something being spilled on it. I also have yet to receive my final bill after returning the truck yesterday afternoon around 12:30 (almost 24 hours later) and being told by the one employee I could find after waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes that he would "check in the vehicle and get the final receipt emailed to you in just a few minutes". A couple of closing feedback remarks: 1) call the customer before cancelling the reservation - I almost did not get a moving van rented to me because I was unable to make it to the location on the pick up day at the requested time. The reservation was cancelled about 2 hours after my scheduled pick up time yet I did not get a phone call, text message, or email asking if everything was okay and if I would still need the moving van - the reservation was just cancelled without any contact. 2) Clean the windows and the insides of the trucks more thoroughly, the windshield was extremely dirty and would not clear well with the windshield washer fluid and wipers.BRIAN M.

A very long time to check out equipment when you expect to be in and out in a reasonable amount of time. When I went to clean out the cab I found a half full bottle of Jim Beam Whiskey that was NOT mine behind the driver's seat. If I had been pulled over for any reason I likely would have been required to perform a field sobriety test or taken other measures to prove I was not under the influence. The u-haul app for returning the truck is pure garbage. The app wouldn't allow me to take a picture of the odometer and fuel level and cost me another day's rental and a ridiculous $20 convenience fee. The employees at this location are great but because of the terrible experience with the after hours return with the app I probably will never deal with u-haul again.RICHARD F.
Customer service was very poor at this location and it took longer than usual to finish my rental. I was given a key and directed to a wrong truck. I went back to get directed to the right truck or get the right key only to be told to wait again. When I got attended to, I was told it was the right truck even though it wasn't. I finally got help from a mover outside that helped me looked for the truck that was parked somewhere different from where I was initially directed to. I drove about 40 miles and put in 4 gallons of gas and I was still charged for gas even though I brought it back exactly where the gas level was when I picked it up. Poor service overallLOUIS S.

I had such an awful experience checking in. The representative that checked me in took FOREVER! 30 mins to check in is RIDICULOUS!!! Not only was she slow but literally kept falling asleep at the desk! (multiple times) As well she continued to eat her food in front of customers and would stop her typing in the system to take a bite of her food. I was asked for 1st floor or 2nd. I picked 1st and she assigned me 2nd as she was not paying attention due to falling asleep. I as well rented a 5 X 10 X 8 and she gave me a 5 X 5 X 8. Worst experience EVER!
