I was very disappointed that my reservations was moved without notifying me. I've rent a truck every year since 2018 at least three times a year in August, November, and December for my organization and never had a problem until this past weekend. The same thing happened last month but they called me about the change. Never was I given the opportunity to say yes or no whether it was okay. Communicate HONESTLY about if the equipment you have reserved is indeed there when you confirm it and BEFORE arriving to pick up. Make sure the one way truck and reg trucks are better identifiable other than just being told. We were told wwrong and tho drivers never changed trucks, the trucks were taken back to the wrong locations. Many problems in this reservation!! Management says they will make right so I'll let you know. Very, very unhappy at this point tho.THOMAS M.

I am very upset. I made a reservation for the Uhaul at Uptown (800 28th st N). I personally went in Friday late morning to confirm all was going to be ready the next morning. I was told by the worker there, yes. I came in at 7am Saturday and the general manager lady told me they did not have a truck and only an auto transport for me. After debating this problem with her for 30 minutes she sent me to a storage facitlity to pick the truck up there (nearly 30 minutes away). When I got there, the guy working said my contract was cancelled and that the lady(general Manager) at the first location called customer service and found a place that had both a truck and auto transport, without informing me. This location was 30+ minutes back past the original location. While the location at Center Point was spot on, it does not excuse what the the first location did. I was informed by the lady at Center Point, that the odds were that the first location, gave my truck away to someone else. I feel I am due som esort of compensation for this fiasco. This put me over 2 hours behind schedule and caused me not being able to drive back to Florida the same day. By the time I got to Montgomery, unloaded and returned truck it was nearly 6pm. I had to get a hotel room since I was too tired to make it home the same day.ALAN C.

I called Customer Service and rserved a U-Haul Truck at a certain location. I was told that the truck was available at that location. Went to pick up truck and it was not there. I had a limited amount of time. Then was sent to a far away location. I ordered blankets, which were not available at that location. Then had to go to another location. Will never have use U-Haul again. We also filed the tank up to where it was before dropping off and then got charged a 17.17 refueling fee. This was a scam. U-haul is a horrible company. The truck was filthy upon receiving it. There was broken glass as well as something that appeared to be plaster or something covering the ramp which made it almost impossible to use without slipping or falling. The attendant was very nice and welcoming and apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a discount on mileage. The store itself was well lit, clean, and stocked with everything needed to have a successful move.Vela H.

I scheduled my pick up online a few days beforehand as contact less pick up for 7am. Arrived to pick up the truck really early and was told my reservation wasn't handled correctly by uhaul and made my moving day get pushed back to almost 10am because by the time the office opened and waiting in line since there's just one employee. Put us back 3 hours and since we weren't moving as early it was even more hot outside. Had to be cautious because there were a number of damage spots on the truck that hadn't been marked already to avoid being charged. The employee that was working was great though!Jaydell S.

Very Rude Customer service coming from the Manager! Ms. Rachel could not reach over the box so she kept tossing my Daughters driver license and storage key back to her instead of giving it back to her like how my daughter gave it to her. Ms. Rachel was very non understanding when it came to bad situations leaving me in a financial deficit because she did not stick to her word of the one month free.
