Felt like I was bothering the sales rep when I went in to get our truck. We still were not in the system from ordering the day before and he had to follow up that morning to have a truck approved for this lot. The entire staff is terrible. Need to implement a customer service training program immediately and test afterwards to verify they grasp the content. The 2 gentlemen that helped me on pick up didn't seem to care that my rental was an hour and 20 minutes late and when asked about the issue they just kept blowing me off saying the computer is messing up. Then after my rental my girlfriends card was charged twice and upon calling to get the issue fixed the manager was less than helpful and had an extremely demeaning tone. Once my girlfriend let him know she would be contacting corporate he told her he would be holding her refund until he heard from corporate. I will go buy my own trailer before I ever rent anything else from uhaul again in my life.Ethan L.

Awful experience from the attitude of the employees to them messing up the reservation and charging me twice for placing another reservation because they couldn't fulfill the first one. Called to get that fixed and the manager made comments like â€œWell, that never happens so idk how that happened.â€ â€œAre you sure that's a charge? We refunded Xâ€ â€œI only see one transactionâ€ and cutting me off when I'm telling him the story about what happened. Refused the refund & $50 guarantee for not fulfilling my original reservation. This was the worst experience i have ever had renting a vehicle. I will never go to this location again. I really hope all the people at this location get fired for the way they treat customers. So horrible. Never again. The supervisor there is super ghetto. Talking about personal stories and being perverted and cursing in front of customers and kids. The problem I encountered was the truck steering system and the seatbelt warning buzzer. The steering was poor and felt unsafe. The seatbelt buzzer would come on even though my seatbelt was securely locked in place. This was Very disappointing .Jerry M.

The Grissom location was not the original location for my reservation. My original reservation was at 9257 Culebra and it closed. The website didn't encourage using the mobile service ( 24hr share) at this location so I selected to go inside to check-in. Apparently there is a disconnect with the 24hr share locations because reserved equipment was not in the truck that I reserved. The phone representative canceled my reservation at 9257 Culebra and assigned me to the Grissom location. I wasted 4 hours trying to complete the process of retrieving the truck and equipment. Thank God, the Grissom location got me in and out. I was not satisfied with Uhaul.Alicia M.

Please let the customer know where the key drop-box is for the location used. I dropped off the U-haul late at night and was looking for a box but it was just a hole near the entryway of the building. Would never had seen it if not for my roommate spotting it. Your counter person Freddie had poor customer service. He seemed as if it was a bother to help me with my rental. He also gained more attitude when i declined the Uhaul insurance. If this location was not convenient to me i wouldn't go back to this location. I have been using this location for the better of 15 years. When coming into your location the expectation of good customer service is a priority to me. I spend my hard earned money to rent equipment from Uhaul with no complaint on price. The dolly and furniture blankets being in the way may can is a problem when moving larger items or when a load is near full. They may actually keep people from renting from Uhaul if they are moving biulky or full loads.. While I understand they are an upsell option that is made available to create additional revenue. I don't think is a good idea because blankets are bulky and are located hey right by the door. And the future dolly is secured with a wing nut and a band. Right after I left this time it heard something fall when I made a turn 5 minutes after I picked up the truck. The wing nut had came off and it cost me time to stop, figure out what had happened, find the wing nut, figure out how to reattach the dolly. Plus the additional stress of explaining why the band is broken. It was just another hassle that I didn't need. I truly did not use the dolly, between having to stop and fix it and writing a message to explain what happened I lost 30 of my day. I will think twice before I rent from Uhaul n the future,.JOSHUA J.

The guys inside that helped me we're not friendly they seemed more bothered that I was asking to rent equipment. The last time I was there it was much better. They purposely passed gases and turned on the fan while I was waiting at the desk. At that point I just walked away until my contract was completed. The other thing was that the links they sent to take pic of my id or to check in equipment failed. I let the associate know and again attitude with â€œfine I'll do itâ€ while he sat there talking to his buddy for other 5 min before actually put the info in. I have to assume that my experience was related to the facility being understaffed. It appeared to me that when we came in and rented a storage unit and tried to rent a truck, there were workers that were either too lazy to do anything, or had actually clocked out but were still in the building, in sight of customers. The manager was in such a rush that it was impossible for us to fully understand what was happening and retain the information being presented. The next day when i picked up the truck, it turned out that whereas I thought i had rented the truck, i had only reserved it. When I returned the truck, I waited fifteen minutes for someone to show up and check the truck in. No one ever did. When I went to the Installation Bay, the fellow there was borderline rude, but was clearly belligerent in issuing instructions for me to wait in the truck and someone would be right out. Well, first off, I have a high level of education and have worked professionally as someone who writes for a living. I had read the sign and remembered having been told when renting the truck to wait with the vehicle. However, there is a limit to waiting. After dealing with Grizzly Adams and his attitude, I returned to the truck, waited another fifteen minutes, and when still no one had shown up, I started toward the sales floor to ask again, just how long I was supposed to wait. This time, there was a fellow walking out toward the check-in area, and I asked him if he was the checkin person. He said yes, but then he listed off three or four other things he had to do before he could get to me. He said if i wanted, i could just leave the keys in the truck--which I did. However, I DID take videos of the truck interior and exterior as well as the instrument panel, gas gauge, mileage, etc. While this will not keep me from doing business with UHaul again, I will certainly take a book or laptop and movie with me next time.jason s. | First Impressions
