I Called for a reservation on Byrne Road in Toledo Ohio I thought I had a reservations for a trailer that did not happen I got there at 5:10 PM and he said the Guy There will be a trailer within 25 to 30 minutes I wait till 6 o'clock he said one trailer at the guy I guess his car caught on fire and the other one he didn't know he sent me on Detroit Avenue and Glendale I was so irate time I walked out of his office that he told me to go to the one on Detroit and Glendale that there was a trailer there in Toledo Ohio that was a nightmare there was not a trailer available there they sent me to Reynolds Road in Toledo Ohio I finally got my trailer it was already 6:45 PM I was so upset and so mad but I told him I was not trying to take it out on them but that was bullshit I would never ever suggest somebody to go to your company ever again I asked him if I could get a discount and they said we cannot do that there's not a manager here at this time . I am not happy with your company at all and I hope that the manager at that on Byrne Road gets notified on how this guy behind the desk handle bit everything it was a nightmare.TERRY M.

When you have a full lot of uhauls, you should walk the customer to the vehicle or give clear instructions where the vehicle is located. If a customer stands in line for 20 minutes inside and then you send him outside to turn in keys, they should not have to stand in line again. They should be moved back to the front. We spent 45 minutes returning a car; ridiculous and poor customer service. Also, when we pulled up outside, there was a worker outside any she never said anything to us that she needed to check in uhaul. I will never go to that uhaul again.Brian W.

Having rented several times from this location over the last couple of years, I'm starting to read the staff well and understand what is going on. The current staff in place is rather knowledgeable and very helpful. They are severely understaffed as just a few are constantly doing everything. I'm not complaining at all, rather impressed by them. I'm more trying to be the cannery in the coal mine. Can't let this crew go by not working to keep them if you are not doing this already. I hope next time I rent something, most if not all of the faces will be familiar.James K.
The attendant I got was super short with responses and seemed irritated to have to do his job. The whole time during the interaction the whole staff was eating pizza and didn't even stop while helping a customer. So I would have to wait in between bites of pizza to get help. He also insisted I needed to rent the equipment for a minimum of 2 days when I only needed 1 and the other locations I've rented from did do 1 day 1 way rentals.haydyn B.

I booked this a month ago. I scheduled to get the truck at 3:00PM at the location that was 4 minutes from my house. Then comes the day of packing and moving, I get a call about 5 hours before it's supposed to get picked upâ€¦they stated they messed up our reservation and no longer have the truck. We had to wait until 6:30PM and drive to a location that was three times further away. It annoying when you book something so far ahead of time and plan around times and dates and schedules.Geoffrey R.

Mickayla was a tremendous help and a pleasure to work with. She was very understanding that I had to use two forms of payment because I was not aware of the additional fees for using a certain type of card, and helped make sure my transaction was smooth, even with the equipment failing mid-transaction. The only thing that I would say needs improvement is the various additional charges for different forms of payment would be nice to know upfront, instead of assuming the customer will know or have 3x the amount of their rental fee on them at the time of check out.LaTisha B.

My review would have been a good one had not it been for my encounter with the woman who was working at counter. She was training an employee when we arrived and upon completing our rental, she told us where our truck and trailer were on the lot. She came outside to hook the truck to the trailer, and I asked if we could do a walk around because I noticed scratches on the truck. She replied you have a phone take pictures. Her response and demeanor left me irritated. I told her I didn't want to be held responsible for something I didn't do. Her response was I don't need your attitude. This is a woman I do not know and had never met labeling me/ stereotyping me with a attitude. I can only assume this is because I am a black woman. I did not have an attitude I was however irritated by her earlier comment and there is a difference. If this employee is going to continue to stereotype or place labels on customers, she should make sure they fit. This was customer service at its poorest. No matter what she felt about me I am a customer, and she should have kept her opinion to herself.GINA B.

Firstly the staff was cool and helpful! I only had trouble with my storage unit itself! It was leaking inside and should not have been! The staff was very helpful whenever it came to trying to help me with this situation but in all my clothes were ruined along with lots of my children’s clothes, shoes, and toys along with a few other household items and jackets, coats, hoodies ruined. Do not rent our trucks that have previously been in an accident and not repaired! The front bumper was busted up and the steering was loose and yet they felt it's ok to rent out the truck.Mary A.
Staff confirmed my order, my truck, my timing, and my contract. They handed me the keys and I left. 30 minutes later they are calling and demanding that I bring the truck back because I â€œhave the wrong oneâ€ - meanwhile, I am 7 minutes from my pickup destination. She was very rude on the phone with me and made it seem like the overbooking of the truck was my problem. She even told me there was a fee if it wasn't back. After confirming I would have the truck back by 7pm that evening, she let me have it. I called a representative of uHaul to explain the situation and she said that I was first on the reservation for the the truck I was in, so there should have never been that phone call. I was on hold for a total of 2 hours, waiting for representatives over the course of this booking and scheduling; so to have this happen on top of everything else. I am disappointed to say the least. I was Over charged the manager had to fix it and still haven’t received the payment then when I moved out 9/30/21 I let them know I was moving out of the storage unit when I purchased the truck and on 10/3/21 received email about a payment.
