This is the second time this has happened at this location in the last ten day (Reference Number: 4697307). I started the contract (76687263) with 1/4 of a tank , drove it 13 miles total and returned it with 1/4 of a tank. When I reviewed my receipt it shows my tank returned on 1/16 th tank, additionally I am charged with replacing 8 gallons ($38.00 ) of used gas as well as a $30 dollar gas fee totaling an additional 68 dollar upcharge. This is really frustrating and disappointing,

I do not believe there is anything to improve on. My experience with your reps on the phone and in person were excellent. The store rep I dealt with was very welcoming, accommodating, and provided excellent customer service. I was very satisfied and even sent a coworker (the McDonalds) to them the next day to rent a vehicle.

We had 2 storage reservations and our larger reservation disappeared while we were there checking in. The worker helping us did his best to assist and put us in a 10x15 for the time being, telling us his manager would be available the following day (as this was closing time). We arrived the next morning to talk to the manager and unfortunately we still don’t know what happened to the larger reservation but she offered us a third unit with a free month to make up for the lost space with the downsize. She was very very kind and considerate to do that, and we were so grateful. Every interaction we had with workers at this location was 5-star. Highly highly recommend.

Your store is very busy but perhaps more employees and or better advice or guidance for your customers so we don't feel rushed when you rent out from under us. We shouldn't be told if we ask for/pay for a whole 24 hrs we can't get it and its cut short. Better explanation of the billing would be great. Otherwise your store is great and everyone was very helpful and nice despite being very busy. We were also pleasantly surprised at the helpfulness of U-Haul call centers.

your return app needs work and both college station's locations need clear and concise location where someone can scan to return item afterhours. lost 45 minutes this time and 1hour last time at other location on Texas. Both Texas locations do no have proper stickers up in order to scan....Each time I returned the trailer early. this was my 27th rental since May 2022

The business had to reschedule my appointment to install a hitch, because their computers were down the morning I came in for the appointment. They rescheduled the same day and took $50 off for my trouble. They were considerate and responsive to my needs.

Incorrect directions by woman inside office saying siges would help me find the area to park gets you stuck in places having the back up with a trailer umong crowded lot. There were no “signs”. The gentlman disconnecting the trailer was awesome! Nice guy, very good CS and quick. 5 stars for him!

MANY broken items - the boxes were packed well but must have been slammed around during transit because things were broken before even being moved out.

I had to wait at least 30 minutes, then I was told that the trailer was not ready because it had not been cleaned out after being returned. I waited an extra 15 to 20 minutes to finally get it. Some of employees were very frustrated with I really don't know what and they even made comments about wanting to quit. Apparently something is going on at that location and it showed. I would like for some one to call me. Thanks

The lady that rented me the trailer did not have very good people skills. She didn't explain why she needed to know where I was taking "her" trailer. I felt like telling her that it was none of her business where I was taking "her" trailer, but since I needed it I felt like I had no choice and the she needed an additional phone number of someone else for what reason she never mentioned it either. Then I drop off the trailer about 4 or 5 hrs after renting it around 1ish and then at 8ish pm I get a call asking when I was going to return the trailer. I'm not sure on who is in charge, but I had a terrible experience, but unfortunately what can I do about it, but type my frustration and hopefully I will not get charge a late and/or for another rental day and then have to wait weeks until I get reimbursed. We'll see

Nobody behind the counter knew what they were doing, read my review I left. all of their attitudes were not professional , they all look like they just rolled out of bed with puffy eyes and greasy hair buns. . One employee guy kept saying he hadn’t been trained well enough and he’d only been there two months and what should’ve been a simple pick up turned into a two hour hassle.. I had made a reservation for the tUhaul four days earlier and was handed my print out that I was supposed to bring to just pick up the U-Haul and it turned into a giant fiasco and I will tell everybody to never go to that location and I did all day today by the way. one of the employees kept saying that my trip to San Antonio to Austin would be 145 miles each way when it is actually only 65 miles so it was gonna cost me $500 instead of the 66+ gas I was told by the person who helped me when I reserved it. The third employee who finally showed up, seemed to know more than the other two, but had the worst attitude, and was acting like somehow all of this was my fault. All of this misinformation was my fault, and it made sure to tell me it wasn’t their fault because it was so-and-so, who wasn’t at work today, who gave me the wrong information. I just don’t understand how a truck advertised for 2995 and of course adding insurance and refilling it with gas should cost anybody $500 when they’re just going to austin and back . I wonder if any of them actually graduated high school and whoever trained them needs to try it again. I’d give it zero stars if I could , and I never do this sort of thing.

I cannot express how helpful and nice everyone was for my situation. As a separating military member I was given so many options even when it was very likely inconvenient to the staff. They were always nice, helpful, and understanding when it came to working with me and the government contractors. The associates that run the front counter are awful. Both times I was in the front office the supervisor was in an argument with a customer. Each one of the could have been easily diffused but for whatever reason she kept pushing the customers to be more frustrated. It was awkward to stand in line and watch

When getting the U-Haul from Austin they did not bother explaining or helping with anything they just handed me the keys and sent me on my way the employees looked and acted like they did not want to b there. The only issue I had was that I came home from Iraq and tried accessing my unit. The key would not fit into the lock. I tired asking several of your employees what was going on and nobody knew anything. I was told I needed a supervisor to cut the lock. A few days later the supervisor was available. Just so happened to be the same day I hired a locksmith. Supervisor cuts the lock. Turns out my wife entered the unit while I was gone, she locked it in the open position. Someone at U-Haul out a new lock on and didn’t tell anyone about it or made a note in the system. So here I am, wasted 4 days trying to get into my unit and $50 out of pocket (locksmith fee). Other than that, you need more staff. There shouldn’t be a 30-45 min wait to get a vehicle because you have 1 person working the counter.

Got some quite rude phone calls about replacing locks. In addition, on the last day, got a similarly brusque call to immediately go fix the lock, because the door was only partially locked. Arrived to find no lock on latch (had just put new lock there one week before) and no lock on floor of unit that had been left there on purpose.

There were a lot of issues regarding the storage for move. The upside is that the manager went far above and beyond to reach a reasonable solution. he called and called again any and every resource but ultimately he made something happen for us. During this time, he had put his lunch off, and was bouncing between assisting many other big issues with customers. It was only him and another worker. His name was Matt Kalinec, he deserves a rise and praise. Will be sending him lunch for the lunch he put off to deal with our issue.

I’ve been using their storage for 2+mths now. And every time I come in, everyone is always so helpful and welcoming and in a content/relaxed/nice mood. If they can’t help, they’ll quickly direct you to who can. They actually messed up my storage unit reservation when I was down-sizing, and they completely took responsibility. They notified me quickly, fixed it, and made me feel like they really cared about me as a person. I greatly appreciate all the gentlemen I’ve came across there!

I had to return a trailer half way through my trip and upgrade to a moving truck and a car transport because my little Ford ranger was struggling to pull the trailer. Technically, because this wasn't where I was supposed to return it, it was a "wrong location" and I couldn't return it. But couldn't figure out where I could return it. I called 1800gouhaul and got transfered 6+ times. Each employee claimed that they didn't have access to the info I needed. They couldn't make changes and didn't know why the previous person sent me to them. I think each employee should be granted access to everyone's order, be able to see all their info, and make changes. Everything is online these days. I should be able to contact an employee in a random state and they should be able to tell me where I can drop stuff off and make changes to my order. Each time I called to figure out drop off locations there was a 10+ minute wait. Calling 1800gouhaul again, I wanted to change my drop-off location because it wasn't the same as the storage location. The telephone line said that I could change it online. I would have preferred to do it over the phone. But after another 10-15+ min wait, I gave up. When I went online, neither my wife or I could figure out how to do it online. We asked the guys at the storage location if we could just drop it off there? They replied, oh, no. If you do that, we'll have to charge you double. Fruatrated, we just took it to the other location and dropped it off. Storage locations are free for the first month. Unless you don't have a round padlock. Then you charge me 10$?! I already had my own regular padlock with me, ready to go but you said, oh no, they can't be that type of lock. It has to be a round one. When I went to lock it up, my lock fit just as well as yours did. That was a totally unnecessary move on your part. The self storage container had two tears in the roof covered in white duck tape. What if it rains hard? Duck tape won't keep the water out.

I came in from out of town and arrived at the Uhaul at 6:45pm, 15 mins before closing. I had called ahead of time and already had a reservation for a storage unit. The employee I believe his name is Matt at 5810 San Pedro, San Antonio, Texas 78212 was fast, helpful, and very thorough. He gave me my paperwork, access gate card and explained everything to me in 15 minutes. I asked him if business was busy,and he said yes, but he was calm and friendly. I appreciate this kind of customer service. Thank you Matt! Uhail, please give him an accommodation for excellent service, especially for being at the end of the day. My visit was on 4/29/21, check his name to make sure I’m correct. Thank you again!

I was told I was enrolled in automatic payments and that I would be billed on a certain day, when I was not. Two days afterward I received a late charge and was informed I was delinquent. Wait times at the store were also frustrating. Each of the three times I went in and spoke to staff, I had to wait 15+ minutes due to there only being one person.

Classic scenario where the right hand didn't know the left hand had already done. Got there and Gloria asked for my information, tried to charge me another fee for the storage that I had already paid for over the phone. The gentleman I spoke to must have been new as he answered the phone telling me to hold on he was dealing with another, possibly irate, customer. I appreciate the 30days free. Maybe you all should give me another 30days for the inconvenience of having to provide info that was, or should have already been, in their database about my reservation.

Adam Pena is the best manager ever! He went above and beyond. We stored my brother's truck but he even helped me with my own uhaul issue at another branch. Huge Kudos! Definitely recommend this uhaul

FYI - your trucks are ALWAYS DIRTY! My truck had milkshake in the cup holder. Looked like someone sneezed on the steering wheel. Windshield filthy. Just do some basic clean up!

Excellent customer service in the transfer of a uHaul box from LA to San Antonio. The coordination of dropping of the box at a storage facility went pretty smooth. Will definitely use them again.

I rented a trailer with a broken tire,lost two hours at El Paso Texas Station for repair. And in San Antonio we attended a person with no experience and los 2 hours. The service was very bad.
