Make sure the information you provide is correct. We had to wait 2 hrs, Till 9a On a7 am pickup because your website said to retrieve the key to the truck from lock box #4 and turned out it was in the back of the truck. Lost 2hours of moving time. It also took over 1hour to return the truck..

Equipment DC 1816N AEO5004-AZ was a 2010 model year 21' truck. It had 142,808 miles on the odometer at checkout. The truck was clean and ran well, BUT THE CAB WAS VERY LOUD. Door or window gaskets seemed to leak. I put on less than 200 miles. Would not want to rent this specific truck again.

I rented the dolly from this company and I told him I'd return it later on that night after checking. So I prepaid 75 box and everything was fine with them that I returned it after hours and it's a one-day rental I got a receipt saying that they owed me $19 and some odd cents because it was only a one-day rental. Now all of a sudden after I've been stuck at home with covid-19 since 223 you're trying to tell me that I owe you for two days!! You better get this figured out before I get up there tomorrow or I will call the Better Business Bureau and report them and H-Haul for this bullshit over charge!!!

Be aware of the sales person short girl , or others in that location . The girl originally rented vehicle cargo van to me. She did not mentioned anything to me about checking van around for scratches before I leave . . When ii returned the cargo van they already new where to look to pinpoint scratch in seconds that can't be seen basically at all . Then van was returned with little sand on floor in the cargo van , when she saw it she was trying to tell me that she needs to replace rubber floor in the cargo van. There was no ripped or cut or bent or scratched, just little of dirt that was sand.. Then i was automatically charged large amount without even telling me detailed charge or what is for . Will not recommend that location or Uhaul if there is the other places like that looking how to overcharge customers for nothing.

It would be very nice not to have to drive the extra miles to pick up a rental van from specific Uhaul locations when there are a several Uhaul's within a shorter distance from the user. For example 2, 5 & 10 miles verses 35 miles. When I arrived to pick up the reserved van, there was not one available. The one that was to be returned was nowhere onsite. After an hour plus, the manager was able to secure a van for use. That additional time did put me behind schedule for the event I intended to load, drive to and unload.

The uhaul app sucked. It started just fine, but when it came to taking pictures, it didn't work. It's no fun standing around in the cold trying to fix an app that just won't work.

Customer service was poor at best. The workers seem to be unhappy with their jobs, and don't really care about the customers. They also seems to just want to make things hard for the customers cause of their bad attitudes. I will not use the location or Uhaul in the future due to this.

i got way too many phone calls switching my reservation around and confirming details that i had already submitted via the website. the delivery window was changed on me the day before my move which was inconvenient and a bit stressful. the staff was very helpful but not exactly friendly 100% of the time. i would definitely reserve a u-box again in the future because of the convenience but i think you guys have some kinks to work out as far as the website goes. thanks again!

Regarding the recent storage unit rental, Ray at U-Haul and his staff were very helpful in getting me setup with a 5 x 5 unit. Everything was clearly explained to me about hours, using the security keypad, and rates,

Ray does a great job managing this location . Prior to this rental, he helped me rent a cargo van and everything went smoothy, Unfortunately for this cargo van rental , I was unable to return the van to the Baraboo location location for a very legitimate reason. Understandably, Ray was upest but he was very hostile to me and didn't seem to believe my reason for returning the van to a different location was valid. I get that he was upset but the way I was treated was way out of line. I don't mind paying extra to return the van to a different location but to be treatged like this is not cool. Despite this incident, I stil think Ray does a good job managing the Baraboo location and woud reccomend him to anyone.

I used the haul vehicle for 2 hours and was charged for 2 full days plus a penalty. 130 bucks for 2 hours of use. Uhaul rebated me 30 dollars after we filed a grievance. Truly a terrible experience.

I may have missed the documentation on how to get in and out, but I was able to figure out to disable the alarm and then check in to access the doorway. Check in/out signage is misleading as trying to check out just said welcome authorized to enter. Enabling the alarm stated something congrats, alarm set, your checked out. So I hope everything I did was ok. Overall great experience. Even reached the general manager by phone last night as the entrance door was started by an individual to be stuck open. Following the instructions of the general manager, I re-enabled the sliding door so that it would close. Felt a little safer that way. Thank you!

I have two recommendations. First, if a customer has cash or a pre-paid debit card I think U-haul should be more upfront with the amount needed for a deposit. Secondly, I went to rent a trailer. It took over an hour to complete the contract and hookup. That seems excessive to me. There was no line, I got right up to the counter and literally stood there for almost an hour while the rep struggled on the computer. Lastly, I rented the 6x12 enclosed trailer. I hooked it up to my Ford Escape. I asked if the vehicle would be too underpowered for the trailer and was told it doesn't matter as long as I have a proper hitch, which I did. So I'm driving back with an empty trailer and started up a nice size hill. a message in my vehicle popped up and stated it was reducing power to avoid overheating. I really don't understand how this size of trailer was able to be hooked up to a car that is not able to handle the weight. The car is okay, but lesson learned.

It is bullshit that u haul just guesses at the mileage. I didn't go to any other places than the ones I reported when I rented the truck but I did take my own straighter safer route and got charged for the over mileage. For that reason I will consider other options the next time I need a truck. And I will tell others of my negative experience.

The guy that works at that location cancelled my U-Haul before I got there because I was a little late, he never called or anything to make sure I was still coming. The U-Haul truck itself was dirty in the back, and supposedly the check engine light was for an o2 sensor but it drove rough like something else was wrong, and the windshield wipers were worn to where it didn't really make a difference

Late by 4 days in picking up my loaded container. Then, crossed my order with someone else's. Claimed my u-box was not mine. Thought I would have to get police to show my pictures and inventory lists to prove container was mine, causing more days in storage for which I had to pay. Staff was hard to get on the phone to try to straighten out. Online account did not match company computer system. One day, I waited an hour and 20 minutes on hold. Never again. Keep your goods in your possession - don't use a u-box.

Dealer did not want to honor the time frame in my contract because it was their "busy time". We were able to compromise at my inconvenience. UHaul website implies you can get a UBox at your local Uhaul location. Not the case, had to go 90 miles to a UBox location.

The self storage was great and the Baraboo personnel were courteous, efficient and professional. Very clean site. The trailer self return process was horrible. I recommend posting the process at the site instead of just saying go to the website. We had an issue with the website and after a long wait time the first person answering couldn’t assist and transferred us for another hour wait for a person that was NOT helpful either. Very awful experience

Storage was stated it could fit a 1,200 sq. foot home. I only had a small apartment to move into it so figured a 10;5" would be perfect. I had a store more things in other locations. I didn't think the price was worth how small it was.

I rented my unit online. I went to the Uhaul office and picked up the lock and keys and access card. It was very easy. The building is very clean and easy to access. I especially like the indoor unloading/loading area. Also, the carts are very handy for moving things from your car to your unit.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unit is clean and well lit. Door latch was a little touchy to get locked. Carts could have been a foot longer. Very good experience so far.
