We had a small cargo trailer rented for the day and needed to drive 1 and 1/2 hours and back to help my sister move some items. We had remted this exact same trailer before and pulled it with the exact same vehicle. Check in took over 1/2 hour because the representative had problems with the computer and phone system used for check-in and she really didn’t seem to care it was taking so long. It took a substantial chunk of the time we had to work with out of our day causing us to feel rushed. She was not exactly pleasant or welcoming (she didn’t even say good morning when she arrived- we were there early) and called the other emoloyees’ slackers. The employee we had at drop off was excellent. Fast and VERY pleasant and helpful. It all worked out

Both employees were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this U Haul company to family and friends. GO U HAUL!

Nothing needed improvement-wise!! Reservation process was very good. Follow-up was very good. And actual pickup was excellent. It is “Ditto” for my drop off in the Milwaukee area. The personnel at both locations were friendly, professional, courteous, and expedient. Overall great people and service.

Abnormally long wait time just to return a trailer.

One of the trailer tires were almost flat when I got my load on it so had to travel a distance to a gas station to air it up & found a hole in the tire & all the other ones were well below factory specs, very unacceptable for a rental place of your reputation & a safety hazard, tires and hitch should be inspected & documented after every rental due to a huge liability of towing heavy equipment, just pictures of the condition on check out is not enough in my option

We had a great experience with all aspects of our rental and will recommend to anyone to use the U haul in Baraboo. Great place!

It took 3 1/2 hours to install my hitch, but in fairness to Ray, the installer, he was all by himself that day.

Overall, my rental experience was good. The app worked well for after hours renting and I was satisfied with the equipment performance. With this said, I was quite upset that the dolly and furniture pads were secured to the truck. I did not want to rent these items and, therefore, could not remove them doing the move (given the tamper-proof ties). Frankly, they made the move more difficult by taking up significant space in a high traffic area while loading and unloading. I would recommend removing them altogether (though I'm sure you will not do that given how much money they bring in). Alternatively, moving them to the front of the truck would be less intrusive.

i reserved for waterloo. 2 days before they said i had to pick up in watertown, wi. we waited 2.5 hours for owner. the truck was there. no person. app didn't work. son in law came in and looked like he just crawled off of a bar stool. couldn't find key, didn't know anything about anything. then we were on phone like 3 hours with several reps. then they sent us to baraboo. promised $50 credit for gas-which didn't cover both vehicles. then my account once pulled up in baraboo kept reading double the price. the rep had to overwrite it. we left to pick it up at 7:30a and returned back to apt at 3:30p-totally unacceptable. it all affected the uhaul mover helpers. the whole thing was a nightmare except for the mover helpers and i had to change move date, etc due to all of the incompetance!

I dont know if there is anything to be improved upon at this particular location. I have rented various vehicles for moving and transporting on different occasions and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. Customer service is outstanding and very much appreciated!

I got excellent customer Service from Ray and Joe. I had a situation come up that kept me from picking up the truck before closing on Saturday night. Joe walked me thru the on line process- it was slick. When I got back on Sunday night it was very close to closing, so I called Jo ahead because I needed a storage unit as well - he made it clear he would stay after 5:00 to help me out. And he was pleasant as heck! Same thing for Ray! When I was getting a bid on the truck, he let me know that there was a flat rate system that would be better for me than the $.99 per mile. Even though I had to book online, Ray was able to fix the rate we had agreed on. I will be glad to tell my friends and acquaintances about the great service I got from your Uhaul team in Baraboo! Other companies could learn from you guys!

Talk to corporate about Uhaul.com/return. The online return process is pretty glitchy. Luckily, the woman who helped me rent the truck (I forget her name, but she was awesome) was still there. All-in-all, an easy and inexpensive experience.
