Everyone who works here is so very kind and friendly. The previous manager and now the current manager Nick have both blown me away with their kindness and help! Thank you Nick for being so helpful and a truly kind person! To say Nick goes above and beyond is an understatement I hope you get appreciated for how truly great you are! You deserve all the appreciation. I petition becoming the CEO or top manager of managers… I have crowned him King of managers 👑 I’ve rented trucks and rent storage units here. Prices are reasonable for someone with a stable professional job but for myself, living paycheck to paycheck financially struggling already, I wish Uhual would lower their costs but instead it has been increased, in this economy!? It’s impossible I have had to downsize my storage unit, now I need to actually get rid of my personal belongings I care about now

I was trying to return a 6 X 12 trailer at a popular time. One of the associates jumped in a truck and drove around and took my trailer so I didn't have to wait! Very well done :-) Sorry I don't have his name here, my paperwork is at home...

This was the best experience I have had with a business for quite a while. I was impressed with the manager and staff. Their “can do”, positive attitude was greatly appreciated by me. If U-Haul recognizes exemplary sites, this site should definitely be recognized.

The return process after hours is frustrating. The ap is challenging and we tried on three different phones. Support was not helpful. It finally worked after about 35 mins. Get better

Got charged a cleaning fee for absolutely no reason??? I moved a couple totes and a few wooden stools. Nothing changed on the interior. Won’t be using this location again, the first time i used this location it took me 20 minutes to even find an employee after buzzing and no one answering i had to wander around to find someone. Eventually the old man who smells like he hadn’t showered in weeks with a terrible attitude hooked me up. I use u-haul very frequently but this experience at this location is making me rethink my decision.

I was quoted $.79/mile due to location change by customer service of U-Haul. I even asked the person when to verify when I picked up the truck and he said the same. When I wasn’t charged that amount and called about it the person I was talking to didn’t want want to take my call and wasn’t very helpful. Not very good customer service.

Folks at this location are great. I will keep working with them. Much work is needed on the app. U-Haul is trying to push everything through the app, but it crashes often which can lead to unnecessary charges. App crashed 3 times trying to check in on-line. Also, I deselected Safe Move three times, but when I returned the vehicle I was still charged for it. Don't force people to go through the app if the app isn't ready for prime time.

Before arriving, I called and spoke to Darin B., I had multiple questions as I was unfamiliar with the cost and the process, Darin was patient, professional and thorough. There were also two other staff members present upon my arrival and they were both pleasant and professional as well. Great service and great energy! Thank you all again! :)

My 6x12 trailer was missing one of the loops to tie equipment down. It also had not tie downs on the top of unit. Other than that - service was great.

My biggest complaint is I rented a 5 x 8 trailer. When I picked it up empty it was very rough to drive There was a sticker on trailer suggesting u needed 150 lbs minimum of tongu weight. As soon as I added weight to trailer it drove fine. Why doesn’t u haul offer some weights when u pick up a trailer or design the trailer so it drives empty better. U always pick it up empty. Drive empty back was just as rough

When renting a 5'x8' trailer, GET THE RAMP version. Much easier to load and unload than conventional doors.

Refueling guideline is highly unreliable. There is less fuel markings on the actual fuel gauge compared to what is illustrated on the receipt. This may lead to a visual estimation that could be inconsistent between the customer and service agent. An fuel charge is assessed unfairly based on this discrepency.

I requested a pick up in Elgin Illinois and a one way trip to Naperville Illinois. I did not know that the location was changed until the day of my move which was 5/30/26. I will never use U-Haul again. It messed up my movers time which is only four hours and that cut into their time, causing damage to some of my furniture, one of which had to be thrown away. Never again.

The pickup location staff were both rude and lacked basic communication skills and did not understand how the Uhaul systems operate. I had a reservation at noon for a one way 20-foot truck and tow dolley. I arrived at 12:07. I was unable to leave until nearly 1:30pm because the system was trying to overcharge me by 500 dollars. It took them 30 minutes of me asking them to call tech support to call and fix the issue. It delayed my journey and my move and elevator reservation. The truck didn't come with a lock, it was dirty inside, had a check engine light on, and one of the two straps of the tow dolley was falling apart causing great frustration. Neither employee was qualified to do their job, and didn't want to help me understand how to set up the tow dolley. Horrible experience all around.

I was given a 9' trailer that was full of drywall debris which I needed to clean (sweep and vacuum) so it would not damage the equipment I was about to transport. Next, I was pulled over by the police because the rear left running light/parking light was not working. When departing, your employee had me check the operation of the hazard lights ONLY. They should be trained to also check parking and turn signals given (as I learned the hard way) they run off separate power wires from the wiring harness which I checked with a multi-meter... all operational. Next, I made two calls to 1-800 Go UHaul while enroute to my destination and was refused the scheduling of roadside assistance because I was not at my destination. Once there, I called again and waited much longer than promised for service to arrive. Once it arrived, I had to take nearly an hour away from precious short time with loved ones while I stood at my vehicle operating and monitoring lights for the repair person who really struggled to solve the problem. This entire rental should have been simple and easy. It was a mess!!

The truck was filthy, customer service was terrible, rude and useless. I waited for almost 15 mins to drop off my rental truck, and there was no one in the store. Would never recommend anyone to go to this location!
