Deena Ejust like other used box trucks they are a bit beat up but that is to be expected.
Scott HI've done a few things with this business lately. The first time I bought some bubble wrap and boxes and it was great, good prompt service. The next time I bought bubble wrap it was a 15-20 minute wait and a 2nd clerk came to help and took the guy behind us. That was pretty aggravating. But, we got the bubble wrap and left. A couple of days later I needed a truck and thought I would try the online rental app. There were a lot more questions, pictures, etc., that I wasn't expecting. I have rented a lot of cars in my life and thought it would be a similar experience, but not at all. It was much more prolonged and challenging. When picking up the truck and I needed to take pictures the app didn't work to take the pictures. When I returned the truck I didn't realize I'd have to again take pictures. Luckily the picture taking part worked well. So, the truck worked well and we made the move we wanted to, but I believe the app needs some work as there are some bugs in it.

Zachariah ZU-haul doesn't credit customers when they return a vehicle over fueled, and adds pressure for customers to refuel their own vehicles by charging an exorbitant service fee if vehicles are returned with too little fuel. It's a very pro-robbery policy.
Amy WThe computer system was down and then the payment appeared wrong on my credit card - which the manager made no note of as I left. I had to go back in and question the receipt. A little more communication on that matter would have been nice.

Rod MGreat, right up until the drop off. Then I ended up waiting 20 mins to give a key to a guy who could not have been more disinterested in interacting or helping anyone. I parked the van in front, walked in and was told to take it to the "return area" and wait. And I waited and waited and waited. He could have just said please park the van over there and then bring back the key but ... he didn't seem interested in doing the job or making good things happen.

Francisco GThe return process took me about 1.5 hours. The WiFi at the location wasn’t working, so I had to call my wife to work through the process for me. She wasn’t able to do it herself because she didn’t have the location-specific barcode, so she had to drive to the location too. Once there, the scanner function on the website wouldn’t work for 20 minutes or so. In that meantime, we tried to download the app hoping it would make for a smoother process, but it makes you log in. Apparently my phone number is associated with someone else’s account, so we could only sign in as someone named Kimberly because there was no way to sign in using my email (only a phone number). Once we got the barcode scanner to work, it then led me through a lengthy process of taking lots of pictures and verifying information about the rental, with the pictures disappearing randomly a time or two. Overall, it was NOT the experience I was hoping for after a long moving day. Specific improvement opportunities: • Make sure there is reliable 24/7 WiFi • Make sure the online barcode scanner reliably works • Make the barcode at the location more visible - I wasn’t the only customer there that struggled to find the barcode that the website wanted. • Allow for the ability to log in to the app using an email rather than only a phone number. • Shorten the return process - don’t require so many photos and questions answered. • Provide a way to return a vehicle without having to login and go through the online process. Or at least put up a sign that makes the instructions clearer once you arrive to return the rental at the location.

Ana VI thought I had through May 10 to cancel my contract but I was billed on May 9/10 at midnight. Very poor customer service. Waste of money, will not ever use again. Will not recommend to anyone.
Evan WMaybe the worst customer service ever. I’m not usually one to say much but dang it would’ve been nice to get a smile or even a look in the eye as I dropped it off. Worker was glued to his phone and barely acknowledged me without giving any guidance. I definitely tried to give him some grace when I picked up the vehicle but he was even worse at drop off. Sorry to be such a downer.
Asher SThe place didn't feel welcoming at all. I dropped off the truck around 5:48 and took pictures to have proof. The only person there seemed unhappy to be there. I got out of the truck, and he asked me for the key. I went to the office, and he waited there. When I didn't hear anyone, I stepped outside to ask the guy who received my keys where the others were. He sounded upset and told me that he was the only one there. I asked how I could check in the truck to avoid being late. He told me that giving him the keys meant the truck was checked in. Something didn't sit right, so I took more pictures just in case. You need more staff in your office.
alfoafo lThe only thing I'd suggest is making the key locker easier to open. I put in the code, moved the alignment to match the code, but it took several tries before it opened. I can see it's an effective security methodology, as I used the mobile app to access the truck and the key. Maybe put some WD-40 on the combination lock mechanism?

Christian NI have had issues each time I have done the after-hours drop off. The app doesn't work or doesn't accept information I put in it. This last time I was told I would be contacted by someone shortly, which made me worry that I had done something wrong. There's got to be a batter way - either fix the app or extend the store hours. Anders JDrove my truck 18 miles. Put in 3.4 gallons of gas to take the gas level higher than when I started. I got charged for 4 gallons of gas and a $30 fill charge. 18 miles/3.4 gallons =5.3 miles/gallon. Your site says your trucks get 10-12 mpg. You know that your trucks get better than 5.3 mpg under any and all conditions. That's over $50 in bogus charges on a $85 deal. If this is not rectified I'll take it up with my credit card company to dispute this.
Tim MI wasn't told where to find the particular truck they were giving me. I had to go search the lot for the right truck. It would be helpful to be given some direction.

THIAGO XThey charged me an additional day when I payed for an extension and then charged me again and when I came to the location the general manager Lisa Moore was zero help and there was a child running around playing hide and seek with her and an adult male also hiding from the manager and she was so rude to me because I was interrupting her game. She wouldn't let me speak or explain my situation and continued speaking over me while glaring at me. She did not offer any kind help or explanation, didn't care to understand why I am upset. I asked to speak to someone else and she said " I'm it , you're looking at the main person here " I asked for corporate and she said ' look up the number on Google " while walking out she was talking about me and laughing with her coworker who is a tall bald man and he is heavy set. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. I will never do business with uhaul ever again.
lyndsee mReserved a 15’ moving van an hour or so before picking it up. Man at the desk was helpful when I picked up & dropping off after hours was straight forward & easy. Truck was clean & easy to drive. Got the move done seamlessly!

EDWIN WPeople there were more interested in talking on their cell phones than helping. I had to wait on the guy to hook the trailer up. When he did arrive he talked on his cell phone the whole time dropping it 3 times as he worked. The trailer itself has something wrong with it. It bounced so bad even after loading it that I had to park it and borrow a neighbor's trailer. I told the people this when I returned the trailer and the essentially ignored me. The shaking/bouncing was so bad I ended up not using the trailer which was a waste of money. I have rented from that location multiple times before and did not have any issue. I won't rent from there again.

The news sucked but the lady was so helpful to find us other trucks near by and arrange a different pick up. As we waited someone came by and dropped off their truck. By a miracle that was the exact size we reserved initially. The 5 stars is for this location, everyone was so helpful and I would have still given 5 stars even if we had to go somewhere else just because she and everyone else was so helpful.

The abundance of moving trucks and trailers make it difficult to find a place to park anywhere, especially near the storage facility entrance. The storage unit customers are not the priority here.

As for areas for improvement, we felt the facility as a whole was well lit and well organized. But we had to supply our own light for the storage unit itself since there's no lighting inside the units. Also, as the price of our unit increased over the years, we felt it had become too expensive for us to continue.

The lot is so crowded with trucks and trailers that it is very difficult to access the storage units, and the few parking spaces that are by the door to the storage were blocked by empty trailers every time we were there! Plus, all of the trucks parked so close to the driveway made it impossible to see the traffic when pulling out of the parking lot. Other than that one thing, great experience! I was very impressed by how clean the storage units are.

In general, it’s common sense that using storage means putting heavy stuff unless you guys are stupid elementary school kids. By the way, the staffs are horrible too. The young man and the girl who is working there, don’t know what are they doing. They are just chatting and joking. Even not at all helpful for us. I have used several storage services, but this experience is the worst. They said they will refund it, but still, it’s not done yet. I HAVE TO SPEND MORE EXTRA MONEY TO RENT A TRUCK AND ANOTHER STORAGE SERVICE. THEY JUST WASTE MY MONEY AND TIME. PERIOD.

Not only were they conveniently located close to where I was moving, allowing more access to my storage units, but any additional items I needed to buy were just simply charged to my card on file rather than having to wait in line to ring them up and purchase separately. The prices were a bargain, especially for the time that I needed to move in. I had just enough space to hold all my belongings, which was amazing. I'd definitely give these guys more of my business!!!
