I had requested for a 8' open pickup but i was given a 9' closed pickup truck, the only issue was that i had to accommodate 2 passengers which i was not able to do using the bigger pick upANIL C.

I was'helpd by Diangelo my first visit he was very nice.when i returned my'truck i dealt with a lady name Brianna Ferguson which was very rude.and she gave me false information and i vowed to never rent from this store due to Briannas nasty unprofessional atitude .she should not be a customer care person.she is nasty to people.And very snappy.tyrell b. | First Impressions
We received the uhaul truck with a completely empty tank of gas. In the future, it would be nice to make sure your trucks have at least a half a tank of gas starting out so that your customers can spend their time moving as opposed to having to go get gas right away. Truck was not available at the location I reserved it at. Was sent to this location which was 10 miles away from original location, which caused almost an hour delay on starting our packing and loading. Was never notified of this change even though your records show I was, which indicates to me that the employee who was supposed to notify falsified that information. I reserved 12 moving pads. After picking up the truck, I found that one bag had only 4 pads and the other contained 5 pads so I was short 3 pads. Called the pickup location to have this corrected. Fortunately, 9 pads was enough. A little more attention to detail by UHaul personnel would have made the pickup experience better.Dennis A.

The payment system!!!! for some reason I was charged 3 times by UHaul and no at Uhaul one seems to know why, now I have funds being tied up 125 dollars on one transaction and 80 on the other when my bill was only 55 dollars when all said and done.. Now in being told to wait until monday to talk to the credit department after being bounced from rep to rep all day.. Im extremely frustrated with this place to say the least I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone..David B.

Guy who disconnected trailer from my son's truck did not seem to know what he was doing. Glad I was standing by him watching. He let trailer hitch lunge forward and it dented the tailgate of his truck.Tina R.
I have no issue with the Washington Street location. My disappointment comes from my original reservation being with a different location at 1 showing up and them telling me my reservation wasn't with them. Even though I had a confirmation on the reservation showing that address and that location. They then informed me that I would have to go to the Washington Street location to pick up the car hauler. It added extra time an extra expense to me and I didn't appreciate it.Rose S.

We originally rented a 15' truck. When we arrived to pick it up the passenger mirror was broken off. Obviously we couldn't drive it in that condition and there was not a replacement vehicle available in the same size. We ended up having to drive to another location to pick up a 10' truck. I am not happy and will not recommend Uhaul.Mary G.

I was suppose to pick up my truck at a different location, one closer to my home. The day before our move they called to tell me I had to drive further away for my pick up at 801 Washington. I didn't understand why they couldn't drive the truck over to our area as we had a reservation.Miqueas G.

Nothing against the location itself or staff there, I just made my reservation at another location which is 1 mile away from me. the day before the move I got an email from UHaul that they changed my pick up location to the downtown location which was far 20 min from me and very inconvenient. The truck was not full of gas which also wasted time to fill it and made it very hard to estimate how much gas to add at the end of trip to be exactly a little over half full tank. I ended up putting a lot more gas in the truck so it was over 3/4 when I returned it. no reimbursements were given which is not fair how Uhaul would have charged me if I returned the truck with less that half but they would not credit me if it has more gas when I returned it.Nizar D.
The truck I had had a whole in the top and my furniture got wet I told the guy about it but he did say nothing about it he told me I could bring it back but I was already at the place to get it the people at the store put paper towels down until I got home but I wish u-haul could have done something about it give me some of my money back or something I don't think I would use u-haul againKimberly M.

Since I hired helpers from movinghelp.com and Uhaul had to rebook the truck at a different location with a pick up time three hours after I was supposed to get my truck and the pick up location of the truck took 2 hours to give me the truck. I was so far behind. My new apartment had no place to put the truck due to the rescheduled time with the moving help guys. Luckily this place was a block from my apartment, and with no place to keep the truck at the apartment building till the guys showed up to help which I didn't know what time they were coming they let me keep the truck there. That was the only good thing about the moving experience. The rest of the uhaul move was a disaster and I will be going with another company next time.David M.

Nothing, I was running late to get the truck back by 7 PM. I have an old clamshell cell, that is the phone I used when I called this location and told the young man that I would be be pulling on to the his lot right about 7 PM. He told me I could do the auto checkout, however my smart phone was dead no juice. He said no problem I will hang around if I have to to get you checked out. I pulled up right at 6:59 and he had an excellent attitude and took care of getting my Uhaul checked out. I heartily recommend Uhaul to anyone looking for a rental and hopefully you will have the same experience I did. The Personal authentic service makes a difference ! I will be back as a customer with Uhaul. Thank you !James W.

The clerk got the storage unit ready but dur9that time he refused my to add my alternate number by assuming me and the other person were one individual after I told him we were to different people but on the internet has made us 1 person instead in reality we are 2 people that happens to have the same name from that point it went downhill because he decided to refuse to rent me the truck as per my reservation I then had to wait while my daughter got Deanglo came up front and rented me the truck I am a elderly disabled black woman who is hard of hearing so my daughter had to keep telling me what he the one that rented the storage unit said see tried explaining that but he still refused to finish my order which was he fault he didn't rent me the when I asked about it was a problem he walked away and went into the back of the building and refused to come and finish my orderJoyce B. | First Impressions
