Everything was great. The manager on duty was prompt and professional. When I initially arrived the guys were not in the lobby, but when I said "Hello", it was a guy training on the computer that came from the back. He was very kind and immediately went to get help. He was very funny and professional. The manager came and handled my reservation with urgency, he cleaned the truck and disinfected it. He also went over the fine lines and instructions on how to use the app to document any damages. Once my husband and I arrived back to drop-off the lady on shift was very kind and conversational until our final bill was in the system and the same manager closed us out. I needed to return equipment after hours. The u-haul app is useless. Wait times on the phone were 45 mins. It was extremely difficult to change drop off location. U-haul use to be my go to place when needing to rent a truck sadly I will look to others (Ryder, enterprises) first from now on. Unsatisfactorily yours J JanicaJOSEPH J.

Sarah at this location was incredible after your field manager Casey was a complete ASSHOLE!! No one was at my original location so I paid for my trailer, hooked up and called U-Haul to make sure your company knew the situation and see what I needed to do to make it ok. Your first associate was trying to help but didn't know how and Casey got on and decided I was lying and the 8300 bissonet location was 24 hr. I explained that a painter working on the building had to let me in and no one was there. He wouldn't have it and threatened to call the cops. After pleading with this dumb shit for 5 min I lost my cool bc all he would repeat is I don't care what you have to say the location is 24/7. I told him to call the cops and I would meet them and his misinformed ass at the location which he refused of course! I have rented trucks and trailers in the last 5 years at least 6-10 times. I can honestly say Casey made sure I will never use your company again. All I was looking for was a solution and he's an ass who has no business being in charge of a gum machine much less any part of a huge company like U-haul.Cynthia B.

Completely unprofessional " Senior Manager" Left 3 customers waiting in line so he can vape in the backroom and stuff his face with pizza. Rude and condescending throughout. The pictures of the truck where of a brand new model while the one we got was damaged all over the sides along with graffiti and obvious duct tape residue. I come back into the office to let him know we finished the survey and he is smoking a cigarette inside. On top of all this he wouldn't honor the online reservation that was already processed so we had to start completely over using a new debit card etc. Never coming back here again. Some Trailers need maintenance. The man who checked me in on return (he first called himself the "manager", then later, "owner") threatened to charge me @$36 for gas - while CONFIRMING that I had only driven the truck THREE MILES! Then he said he would "eat my gas" and I was expected to be so grateful that he decided NOT to screw me over. The rental process includes taking several pictures of the truck and even the dash - for the odometer. I was told that I was being allowed ten miles, so I made sure to show the odometer in a picture. I KNOW that in the past, they have mentioned the gas, and I noticed that the gas gauge was NOT full, but I had been told "it's different local - we charge you for MILES" - so I was not concerned with the gas gauge! Before you threaten to overcharge customers for gas they didn't use (!) FILL THE DAMN GAS TANKS ON THE TRUCKS before giving them to customers AND TELL THE CUSTOMERS TO FILL THE TANKS BEFORE RETURNING or else they will face a JEFTY OVERCHARGE for gas! And don't act like deciding to NOT cheat the customer is somehow a "gift" instead of just basic decency!JEFFREY S.

Extended a truck rental by about 12 hours. I called in before my rental period was up to do so and was told what the extra charges would be. Paid those, then days later get hit with another $50+ in charges I wasn't told about nor did I agree to. The truck wasn't left dirty or with less gas or damaged or anything. The card (thankfully) bounced that $50+ charge because of the small credit limit on the card I put the Uhaul charges on. Spoke with the manager for almost 30 minutes about this, and he said he'd get the charges refunded, so I'd hoped it was resolved and thought they wouldn't be charging my card again since I never agreed to those extra charges nor was I told I'd be charged them. A few more days later I'm hit with an $80+ charge that I never agreed to. I've never had an issue with uhaul before but this location will clearly rip you off if you give them your card info, no matter what any of them say. Buyers, beware.Lacey C.

Mirrors are manual adjustment, require star key for 10 ft box truck. Had to go back home to get one and adjust. Dangerous to drive with mirrors not adjusted and most people don't carry tools for adjusting mirrors... That's my only negative about my experience here.BERNARDO C.

We want there on Saturday, which it was very busy. We made reservations online for 9:30, but had to wait 25 minutes because only one attendant was available and three others customers were waiting. Having more staffing will made the checking more efficient.HILDA C.

I had movers waiting, (I was paying for their waiting time) and the delay proved costly. The employee told us the supervisor was elsewhere on the property. Please be sure to include furniture pads in every customer's U-Box. I received my U-Box with zero furniture pads, despite my order confirmation that two dozen would be included for free. Since I had no vehicle to go pick up pads, and I was flying out of town the next morning, I had to pack my entire U-Box with zero pads between furniture and other large items. The office eventually refunded me ~$20, however it did not replace the fact that all of my goods had zero padding. It makes a big difference to the U-Box rental/packing experience.ERWING F.

You can imagine my frustration as I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to this location, but Sarah and Charles both had a positive attitude and did a great job of getting me out of the door in a timely manner. Charles or Charlie (Manager at Bissonet location) was Amazing. We arrived to unload a Uhaul we rented 1 way from Missouri 45 min before closing and the manager greeted us outside, helped us use our code to gain access and showed us to our unit. The unit was smaller then I expected and I went into office and inquired about a larger unit. Charles was very through and accommodating and found us the perfect size within our budget. He also suggested I call the 1800 number and see about dropping the uhaul at his location to make it easier for us seeing as I would have had to drive across town to drop it off. Once I spoke to a customer care agent it was no issue moving my drop location to the Bissonet store. I was So Happy and Impressed with the customer service Charles gave us and the attentiveness given so close to him getting off work. Thank you so much!Travis K. | Online Move In
