not only they did not fulfilled my reservation, change locations and times, we I got the location I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for a person in the courter. And all I needed was to get the key, because it was all done over the app. horrible experience, I have to spend a extra $435 dollar to change the plans of my trip, and uHaul term and conditions clearly says, they guarantee your $50. I called costumer services and they say ...."it doesn't work that way, we have the right to change your reservation as we needed and they are not responsible for the $50"... Everyone I came in contact with at this office was absolutely amazing. I moved at the last minute and in an emergency situation and was very overwhelmed. A gentleman that worked there offered my son a ice cream and talked to him while I was renting the truck and my son who is 8 loved talking about video games with him. The lady that helped me and I wrote her name down but don't have it with me currently but she is defiently a star employee. When I say from start to finish this ladt was amazing, she was amazing. I got emotional at one point because I was exhausted and overwhelmed with everything and I don't know why I asked her if I could just have a hug but she said absolutely and came around to hug me and told me it was going to be okay and also told me that she was always there if I ever needed to drop by and talk. She is an example of who companies should hire. I lost my mom almost three years ago and when your employee hugged me, a stranger I had never met, hugged me it felt like my mom was with me at that very moment. Please don't take this comment and keep it to yourself, but please make sure her management team knows how much not only was she appreciated but just how much that hug meant to me. Sometimes it is the little tiny things that you might not thing that are a big deal...are.... I will never forget her or her kindness during a difficult time and I have shared this with multiple people. Thank you :)sarah J.

We dropped off after hours. Prior to dropping off, I called to make sure I would not have any problems dropping off after hours. I was assured that it was very easy and all I needed to do was go to www.uhaul.com/share and follow the directions. Upon arriving, I went to the website and followed the directions. However, the app would not let us take an image of the UPC code so we could not check-out. We tried two different cell phones to acquire the image of the UPC and logged into my account to try via this method. Nothing would work. The app does not give you any options. If you cannot take an image of the UPC, it won't let you check-in the equipment - this is an unacceptable customer experience. We spent over an hour trying to check-out then called U-Haul. We were told it would take 40 minutes to wait for someone on the phone. It was 9:00 PM after driving for 22 hours straight. After repeatedly persuading the rep to try and help us (which she didn't want to do) she logged the issue. The rep said we would not be charged the $20 due to the app not working but we still were charged the next day. The rep (and the app) said to leave the contract in the drop box, but there isn't a drop box on the property. We looked all over. This was an extremely bad experience. I have always used U-Haul over the years, but it is very difficult to recommend U-Haul given this experience. I believe the $20 charge should be reversed since the feedback is worth more than $20 so the app can be fixed.Joseph K.

While appointment and all facets of the truck I used were excellent, I was surprised at the mileage charge of $1,19 per mile on top of the other charges. I had the truck only about 3 hoursâ€¦I returned it full of gas, the $25 rental fee resulted overall in a total cost of $91+. I believe did receive a final bill of $85. Thank you.RAY ALLAN T.
I did all the pre booking online and payment to be quicker the day that I had to pick up the truck but when I get there the lady helping me could not communicate well and get thru the guys getting the truck ready because her ear piece and communication equipment wasn't working well. I had to wait a long time for them to get the truck ready with the dolly, the furniture pads and appliance dolly. You would think that the truck would be ready for me and ready to go upon arrival. I reserved my truck on line 8:00 on a Sunday, when I arrived the app won't let me pickup the truck. I asked a worker when he arrived to help, he said he couldn't since I did it on line. During drop off, the female office attendant had an unpleasant nasty attitude. She repeatedly tried to upcharge me for additional days and insurance when I know what I filled out online. I explained to her that I was aware that I returned the trailer after store hours but I did not want to be on U-Haul property at that time so I returned the next morning. For some reason she had a problem with that- Her demeanor and nasty attitude towards me quickly changed my outlook on U-Haul. This is the first time I used this location and last. I understand that it's difficult to hire good people right now. If I ever need another rental, I'd rather drive several miles to another location than possibly deal with her again.Prince B.

I booked our truck two days in advance. When we arrived, we followed the mobile pickup instructions and were walking to the truck. We had matched its number to our phone and we're about 20 feet away from it, when someone told us the truck had been rented. We explained that it was our truck and he told us he had just given it to some other guy. Keep in mind, we were right on time for our 9 AM pickup. We are told to go inside and wait in a very long line. The manager, I'm assuming Peggy, told us the truck wasn't clean and walked away before we were done speakingâ€¦ quite the professional! No one could get their stories straight and we ended up having to wait 45 minutes before finally leaving with a truck. Don't offer mobile pickup if your stores can't run it efficiently. An extra 45 minutes added to a busy moving day because someone isn't capabale of holding a truck is unacceptable.Sebastian M.

Worst Uhaul experience I've ever had. I made a reservation for a 10 x 10 x 8 and was told it was not available and nothing could be done. No suggestions for other locations, no offers to make the situation better. I needed to find a storage facility on my own with my 3 month old in my personal vehicle driven by my wife. Rented 15 foot for 2 days but returned in 1 day. Service guy out front could nit complete my return because of another upset customer so he says..I will email your receipt..I said no thats nots acceptable because you are charging me for the wrong vehicle and I am returning a day early and an adjustment should be made for a refund. He walked away. I rent from Uhaul often but this was a mess. I was Over charged and $115 debited from my checking and taken from my account when it was supposed to be a $45 refund. Now my account is short and I have to WAIT for the deposit when I'm moving. I waiting 30 minutes for the attendant inside to correct it all.Celestine K.

One rep conducting investigations of a late truck instead of tending to in person customers . However, they we're friendly during rental transaction. UHaul is disappointing. You allowed me to reserve a cargo van for one way and then the day of the rental tell me you don't offer one way rental on cargo vans. What a sham! Your system shouldn't have allowed me to make such a reservation if you don't offer it. I could have easily chosen another way to rent a van. Instead you move me to a larger, more gas guzzling vehicle and then to top it off you send me on the opposite side of Orlando to get it. You put me in a box/crunch at the last minute with no options. This bad experience coupled with another rental incident in 2021 means I will no longer use Uhaul in the future for any of my needs.Parrie A.

The unit was clean, easy to access with plenty of courtesy moving carts. Also Miss Nora (employee) was AMAZING!! I rented two storages at 1 location was given the wrong size and had to have two storages about 20+ mins away. They treated me like crap at the fist place the guy was rude supervisor got me into the 10*10 in Ocoee not once offering insurance or anything it was late and they were both closing up and was in a rush to get to the Ocoee location. Checked my things a month later My things were leaked on from the unit above and a lot of my things were molded. Peggy stated that’s the liability I take without insurance took pictures and I filed a claim but got no where because I didn’t have insurance plus I just lost my son and had just too much going on to fight this but I took major losses dealing with uhal and it seemed like my bills just kept going up every month since August.. They were adding charges for 24 hr access I didn’t request more than at the time of getting the units and rate increases often for a unit that ruined my things.. I say average because I've used storage elsewhere and this uhaul seems to uphold a certain standard in what people want and expect from a storage facility, especially at this price range. I'm not sure if it's because of the location or because they can but the prices are a little higher than they probably need to be and just before we left our unit we were told the rates were going UP. Uhaul also does not offer military discounts for storage which is also why I give them an average. Our new storage unit did offer us a discount on an even bigger unit.Jessica W. | Overall Experience

Lied to by the staff. Mistakenly charged for free storage, when I tried to correct it in person the first time, Doug lied saying he couldn't do a thing about it. I called customer service, they were astounded at this lack of responsibility. They told me to return to the local store. Then I was helped finally and was refunded. Except now I have a moving truck, told I'd just owe mileage and gas after drop off, tried to charge me $90 because they tacked on extra insurance and a random "rental fee" for $40. Wtf??? I called customer service AGAIN, and I was told I would only owe for the mileage I went over. So these people are liars and scammers.
