The customer service was terribleâ€¦ I reserved for 5am Saturday morningâ€¦ I got a call Friday afternoon that they didn't have the truck I reservedâ€¦ so they had us do a new reservationâ€¦ and we continued to confirm 5am. The website did not let me get to the lockbox, it kept saying at 7am you can pick it up. I called three times. The first guy wouldn't confirm if my truck had been reserved or canceled because I didn't call, I had my wife callâ€¦ so I called myself and the girl was not in a hurry at all to help us but told us, you are late picking up your truck. At first we were on hold for a bit we thought she fell asleep. The last last was nicer since we went for a second time with no success. we just waited till 7 when the store opened, and got our truck. Well partially anyway. Got the truck, no furniture Dolly, and then half the furniture pads I reservedâ€¦ The only people I can say that we can't complain about was the last lady we talked to over the phone who adjusted our reservation to 730am, and the guy who helped us at the store. When I pick up my truck at12:00 in this location, truck is still parked in between all other trucks. No rental equipment on it. I have to ask the guy to back out from the tiny spot. Also, when I check the gas tank it's empty. On the paper shows 5/8. No one give a second through, why that happened. When I drive back home, I found out. There is a cap on top of the gas tank has been opened. I filled full tank, spilled out 1/3 from that hole. I don't know how to fix it. All my mover are waiting for the truck to move. It was very frustrating! I called the Ontario location, they told me to call roadside assistance. But luckily, one of my mover is a mechanic, he fixed it. It's was very bad experience. He told me some one could stolen the gas from that hole. Also, I saw 4 employees was there 1 meet customer,1 take phone call. 1 prepare equipment. There is another guy, I think he was holding a beer and walking around.Yichi Z.
The management at this location are rude, unnecessarily overzealous about security (it doesn't matter that we pre-check in and have rented many times, we must provide our license again, submit a selfie, provide a second phone number, etc.) Online check in means nothing to them. They were unhelpful and rude when we locked ourselves out of our truck. They refused to help us and left us on hold for 30+ minutes until we were forced to call the national number. They delivered the truck with only 8 miles left till totally empty and they did nothing to work with us as regular business customers. We will NEVER rent a Uhaul from them again, and probably won't rent from any Uhaul location any more. Your practices and customer service have gone down the drain. We are now shopping for our own truck or will rent from someone who doesn't run their business like they do not give a crap about serving or retaining their customers.Beatrice C.

Way over priced for how long I used the truck. I had to go searching for the truck putting the key in every door till I found the right one cause there is no obvious way to see which one you have the keys to. The employees seemed as thought they hated there job , it was like talking to eeyore. I'm pretty sure I was charged extra cause of the gas even though I filled it back to exactly where it was when I rented it. I'll never go to Uhaul again. Still waiting for the deposit to come back to my account it's been 24 hrs now. Waste of money.David J.

Absolutely horrible, I took the night off work, booked a truck after hours. I even called during working hours to confirm it, when i went to pick it up around 7:30pm it was blocked in. The office was closed. I contacted customer service who gave me a different truck number to pick up, it was also blocked in. They directed me to a different site, which was an empty lot in the ghetto, it was in the worst area imaginable. It was dark and there were multiple people on drugs calling me names and being aggressive. I decided it was definitely not a good move to leave my car there and get into the uhaul. I left, booked again in the morning while they were open. I told the owner about the situation, he was completely dismissive, no accountability and he wasn't apologetic at all. I explained that I hired workers, took the night off and then to make matters worst they sent me to a bad area. He responded â€œwell it's a bad area anywaysâ€. He also was defensive and kept repeating, wel if we knew about it we would have left the truck out. I replied. How could you guys not know if I booked it and confirmed it. He said â€œWell no one saw itâ€ He was extremely rude and did not care. I spoke to another worker, he also did not care. No one cared and they let it be known. If you're a woman alone, do not go here. They don't care about you. I'll be sure to review on yelp and any other place available to warn people.Oyuki P.

Trucks need to be serviced. Also. Steps need to be taken to make sure there is GAS in the tank before driven off the lot. I received a truck that was supposed to be at half a tank and it only had 22 miles left in the tank which quickly dwindled due to the ignored maintenance on the vehicle. I ended up spending $75 to barely go 50 miles around trip and it still didn't give me more than a quarter of a tank of gas. One of the employees excuses was, â€œgas get siphoned here all the timeâ€. Maybe it's time for some security so customers aren't paying these ridiculous gas prices for a rental that's going to take them 2 hours. One of the gentleman was extremely helpful, the one who checked me in was not.desiree W.

Giving the truck to the customer with the gas tank less than 10 miles to Empty un acceptable. That is something that should be communicated to the customer before arriving to pick up the vehicle so they can plan for this also. I had a reservation guarantee on my trailer rental !! When I arrived I was told that the unit I would be renting was AO1701J As a Safety Trainer for a Major Trucking Co for 14 years I think I know if a unit is in rentable condition !! This one is not !!! I have pictures to back this up !! Able the manager at this location told me he rents this unit out all the time in this condition !! NOT SAFE !!! He said it was my responsibility to secure the load in this unit !!!! My other option was to rent RT6460C at a higher rate I asked him to match the rate I was quoted for the other unit but he said he had to charge me the higher price, and he had the last word in this matter !! It's nothing for him to pull this unit off line and get it fixed, not like U-HAUL does not have a great maintenance facility in San BernardinoRobert C.

Nehemiah was very rude and unprofessional when I first walk in he was on a personal cell phone call and he was like hold on I'm on the phone. I requested a appliance dolly rental and he forgot to add it to the rental and wasted my time by having to reissue a new rental to get it rented. I wasted an hour at the location trying to get a trailer and dolly. Very unprofessional seems like they have high school kids running this location. I'm beyond disappointed at the poor quality staff you have at this location. I ended receiving my receipt now with an extra safe tow charge I never signed up for.WEIZRUNG L.

Truck was not ready for 0630 pickup as promised. Had to wait until office opened at 7. Got attitude from owner who never would have spoken to me like that if he saw me in the street. When I got the keys keys the truck it had a truck 1 inch from both bumpers. Unable ti get truck out. Told me to wait until the lady in line was finished because that was going going be her truck. This was my 2nd time renting a storage unit from U-Haul. I have experience nothing but positive. The staff is friendly, the location is always clean, and most importantly my belongings were safe. My only complaint is that there is no elevator, and I had to load, unload, carry my things up the stairs, load and unload again. I knew what I was getting my self in to when I rented the unit.
