I have to say the store owner is a terrible cold hearted human! I understand there are rules and policies to follow but jesus there are times and places where you can bend some rules or even make exceptions. The 10 ft uhaul I rented smelled horrible- as if something had rotted inside of it. When I returned the vehicle (same day) I was overcharged for a two day rental. I was told I would need to talk to someone in the store for the charge to be changed. Upon entering the store, I waited in line for an hour to be seen which made me miss an appointment. I had made a reservation 2 or 3 days prior for a cargo van for moving a small piano. I got to the Uhaul facility 30 minutes early for pickup. A line extended to the door with only one person working the counter. One hour later, it was my turn only to find out that no cargo van was available. The person working the counter got the manager to come to assist. I was told no cargo van was available and that I cold get the next size up which did not have a ramp, but I would have to pay the increased mileage rate. I was in a bind and needed the vehicle, so I had to take the next size up. Do you know how hard it is to lift a piano into the back of a truck? I then told the manager that only one person was working the counter, with the line of waiting customers was out to the door. He then spoke up and asked if he could help the next person in line. Extremely poor service and why should I have to pay extra for something that was not my fault. I am not just a very unhappy camper, but an extremely dissatisfied customer.ROBERT S.

The older male employee with crazy hair and a bald spot was a total A**hole when I asked for some X stickers for all the beat up and scratched spots all over the truck. The counter marked the truck as full but it had only 3/4 tank. 2nd bad experience at this location. Not going to return. Guy in front of me said every time he goes there, the employees have an attitude. Instead of just marking the amount of fuel (in the office) for the truck being picked up, the staff should check the actual gauge along with the client and then mark the form. Trusting staff that they knew the amount of fuel in the truck, as the client, I forgot to check it against what was marked on the form before leaving. This was a back up drop off as the original location refused to accept the equipment due to space issues. Not sure why that was my problem and the attendant was almost belligerent tell me to take it to another location. 2 weeks prior to this last reservation I had a terrible experience with this location as no employees at this location were wearing masks or if they were they were wearing them incorrectly. This reservation was made after a person in my party was treated poorly at this location the same day, so I instead got a reservation for the mobile pick up option that is the most useless thing in the world. I had to wait 30 minutes to get a truck that was not cleaned. I was told by one of the employees in the lot that the truck I was getting was supposed to be removed from service because they had to bomb the truck for bugs. This location is the absolute worst U-Haul location and I will never use U-Haul as a service again. I will pay additional to deal with one of your competitors. We're in the middle of the pandemic and apparently the company does not care about the safety of its patrons let alone its employees. It is an absolute disgrace. I will confirm that I will FOREVER utilize another company even if it cost me 100 times more money to avoid your company and I will ensure that everyone I know will know about my multiple bad experiences with your location and employees with attitudes.Jennifer M.

The container arrived at noon on Thursday; I spent the afternoon unloading it. On Friday I called them that it was ready to go; they could pick it up whenever! The gal said it would be Sunday before they could get to it. She said they would call on Saturday to arrange a pick-up time. I got no call on Saturday, so on Sunday, I assumed they were not picking it up. I took the garbage cans to the curb for Monday pick-up and no more then 30 minutes later, I took more garbage out and the ubox was gone. No phone call, no knock on the door that they were taking it...nothing! It was just gone! Since we live in farming country, my husband commented that anyone with a forklift could have picked it up. So then I was scared! I called Uhaul(spent 30 minutes on hold) just to find out that it was indeed Uhaul that picked it up. But I mean a simple phone call or a knock on the door to tell me they were there to get it, would have been courteous. Everything went so smoothly all the way from Palm Bay, FL to Cassville, WI; we were so pleased! So to have something like that happen, just ruined the perfect record!Laurie B.

Somehow, from my original order for 5 hours it got charged for three days. I then tried to reach out to the office location I rented it from but couldn't get a hold of them after 15 minutes of waiting so I Then reached out to the chat program and the person I spoke with on Wednesday was very nice and tried to reach out to the general manager but wasn't able to and said it would get handled in 1-3 days. I think reached out on Thursday thinking I should have a refund by then considering this rental was from Sunday afternoon to Sunday day night, this chat rep said the same thing and said it should be handled soon, even when I tried to speak with them about how I thought it was odd that a trailer was dropped off in the middle of their trailer lot but still hadn't been checked in since Sunday he just said essentially â€œ someone will get to itâ€ it's now Saturday night and I still don't have my money back. The unit had no lock and I was advised of wrong times to access the drive up bay, so while already having a stressful day and putting everything myself & 2 small kids own I’m storage myself, I had a tall man with a mustache rush me out.
