I rented a 12ft truck, I wouldn't recommend this truck for out of town moving, this truck was doing at its best 7.8 MPG, a staggering $510 of gas from Miami to Philadelphia, another big con on this truck is the noisy cabin, its kinda hard to hear the GPS commands, the middle seat in it was designed for a child, don`t try seating an adult in it on long trips, not happy with this truck overall.

Truck was in need of service, luckily didn't need to drive far. Multiple warning lights were on in the cabin, and the driver's side door didn't fully close. Tons of storage and moving space in the back and convenient location made up for the out-of-service vehicle. People working here were friendly and helpful, too.

the customer service representative had an attitude. The drop box for keys was open and keys were all over the floor. I picked them up so no one would steal them and the representative was annoyed and said "they were supposed to be there".

My original order was cancelled since I was apparently late. She told me my reservation was 8:00 but it was 9:00. I showed up at 9:00. She was also on the phone the whole time using her AirPods not about work. I would not recommend this place but we don't have any other options.

The young lady with a rainbow hairstyle in the morning I picked up. She should be trained to be professional manner. When there is no cargo van available, she should suggest client to get a different van for example. This will save customer time going to different location.

I have never experienced such horrible customer service. The person at the desk didn't even GREET me, she looked at her phone while I stood there and then looked at me like "what?". She was beyond rude. The man who was at the truck return was rude, dismissive and acted like I was inconveniencing him. I will never use this location ever again. It's 4 blocks from my home but I will drive out of my way instead.

The lady behind the desk when I went to pickup the vehicle was extremely rude and lacked any customer service skills. She would be texting people on her phone right in front of me taking her time instead of working on getting me a vehicle. Wasn't very friendly and got upset and rolled her eyes when I kept asking questions about my rental. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

We were there early to make sure that when the location opened their doors at 7AM, that we'd be the first customers. Someone let us in at 7:20AM so we could pick up our 10' truch, which wasn't so much of a hassle, but just be prepared that the location might not open on time.

From reservation to check in it is all handled by the customer. We have to take ourselves pictures of everything while the associate sultans behind the desk watching their phone. Feels like a poor customer service to me.

This comment does not apply to this stores location, it's staff or the service I received here, which was exemplary. I wanted to include my dissatisfaction with the mobile pickup option, which failed to process multiple times, resulting in me having to go inside anyway. It took over 45 minutes for me to even get my rental, which cut into my time slot. After paying more to have the rental longer, I was charged a second time, the day after- but no final receipt was emailed or provided, detailing the costs, fees and charges, which is super sus. I dropped my vehicle off 15 minutes earlier than expected, had no accidents or mishaps with the rental, scratch free and I even disinfected the areas I touched the most, as I had a head cold that day and was coughing a lot. I may have missed something, but without a final receipt - couldn't you get dinged for any little thing and who would know? Not a great “customer retention” program there. I've used Penske a few times and received an emailed receipt every-time something was added or altered. Me, then knowing, exactly how much and when I was to be charged. Besides that, the staff were lovely, the location was clean. Probably wouldn't use UHaul again for my next move, but thanks for the experience >.>

Tiffany the storage manager was great and very helpful in resolving my issue. However the other staff working there were goofing around and couldn’t assist customers because they didn’t have a drawer expecting Tiffany to stop assisting me to ring them up. Really annoyed that with the amount of money you charge for storage that the unit was leaking and caused me about $1500 in damages and lose irresplaceable items. Such and pictures and handmade art. I had to spend an entire weekend moving units only to find that I am being charged a higher price and with all of this being said I only get one month free Trust me, once I find time I will be finding another more professional establishment.

I will advise the entire world never to rent from U haul! your GMC Vans are so simple to break into; there is no piece of mind or sense of security w your company/brand after this experience. I hope it isn't just as easy to break into your entire fleet of trucks too. I have a video of how simple it is and will be releasing it on all social media if I don't hear from someone on Todd Meyers team, or Joe Shoen himself, by the end of the week. Absolute worst experience I've ever had renting a moving vehicle. I was robbed because of your cheap faulty equipment, then was given the run around for 4 hours, hung up on transferred to the wrong department… your company has created a living nightmare for me.

Trying to reserve the vehicle online was cumbersome at best. We reserved what we wanted (a 9' van) to be picked up at one location just to get there and find they didn't have what we reserved. He sent us to Washington St and they too didn't have any vans. Luckily she was able to give us a 10' truck.

Upon returning the rental vehicle I parked the van in the lot and I walked inside to hand the front desk attendant the keys to the vehicle. The woman working at the front desk told me specifically that she would not take the keys and to lock them in the vehicle I had just parked across the street. I did as I was instructed and locked the keys in the vehicle. This is not a normal habit of mine and I only did this because I was under the impression that was what the employee had just instructed me to do. Within 5 minutes of leaving the facility I received a call telling me that I would be charged $100 for locking the keys in the car, to which I responded I only did that because it is what you told me to do. I immediately returned to the shop to have a discussion over the issue and I was met with hostility and disrespect. The women working insulted me and my husband by calling us dumb for locking the keys in the car and why would we do that because it was stupid. I did not fight with these women I simply left. The return app at uhaul.com is not possible to use. By the time it sends you a verification your session is “ timed out”. When I returned the van, there were 5 of us struggling to use the app as instructed. It was time consuming and none of us were successful. Please remov the instructions mg scat the key drop for people to use a non functioning app!

When I got there at 2:30 for my reservation they said my 20' truck wasn't there yet and the other person is supposed to return it by 3pm but it's not guaranteed. No communication or anything saying that I shouldn't come by at 2:30 because it won't be ready until 3 and it's not even guaranteed. They said they only had a 10' truck which is not acceptable. The biggest problem is U haul's online reservation process. Spent over 2 hours on my laptop entering information and trying to upload pictures of my Drivers License, only to find out that you have to reserve using a cellphone so that you can "scan" the License. I had a 5x8 storage unit. When I first started renting it years ago, uhaul gave me a deal on it because there was a giant brick pillar going through the unit that ate up at least 200 cubic feet. At the time I paid less than $100 per month. I finally moved out of the space because they continued to raise the price until most recently I was paying almost $140 per month. I thought it was messed up considering the circumstances. Furthermore the facility didn’t even have a freight elevator. It was a complete pain to move anything bigger than boxes to the 3rd floor where my unit was. Despite all this, the employees at this facility were really nice and helpful, especially once when my lock jammed badly. If you decide to do business with the uhaul devil, these folks will take care of you as best they can.

I had thought that the unit I reserved was in a 24/7 access building, but it turns out there are two buildings and the only unit available is not 24/7 access. I use a keypad to enter and don't have to interact with a human to access the unit, so I'm not sure why the hours need to be restricted, but it was literally my only option so I had to take it. All in all I'm very pleased with the unit and the services, the manager that assisted me was extremely helpful and nice. Definitely a great option for accessible storage in the city!

A family member was able to change the email on my \ deceased uncle account and was able to gain access to my storage unit without my permission. and stole over 8k with of items without my consent. When I payed the overdue amount and cleaned out the storage and saw her info instead of mines. I was puzzled. the relative name or anything to give her access was not listed on the account at all. WORST PART IS I WILL NEVER GET THOSE ITEMS BACK AND IT WILL BE HARD TO TAKE HER TO COURT DUE TO UHAL EMPLOYEE NOT TAKING THE RIGHT PRECAUTIONS.

I needed a storage unit same day and was able to secure a unit at this facility quickly and easily. I appreciated the hospitality from the women at the front desk. They were great and answered my questions. One of the women walked me to the unit across the street which I really appreciated. I was able to rent a unit on the ground floor which made move-in so much faster. I will recommend this location in the future. Thank you!

I found out after I was there that the access hrs were now limited to only business hrs, which is different from the website. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom stay dirty (NOT IN THE OFFICE BUILDING SIDE BUT ON THE BUILDING SIDE NEXT TO THE LOT CLOSES TO 13TH STREET SIDE.

My unit was broken into and the management had no empathy what so ever when contacted. No effort what so ever to assist with the burglary. I thought the building was secure with few cameras, and code set up building but I was wrong.

Pretty positive overall experience. Strong possibility that people are living in the facility overnight as - multiple times - I encountered people on the main floor after normal hours who were charging their phones, not moving things in or out & just generally not doing anything you would expect someone to do in a storage facility.

The only thing that was a headache was the closing of the account. After we met with the agent to close the account (11/17) we continued to get notices for invoicing and late notices from Uhaul because the on site staff hadn’t inspected the unit. I had to call two times to get this resolved and finally the unit was inspected and closed out in your system. Not a great final impression.

Customer service was horrible. I ask for receipt I was told they don't print receipt and I would receive an email. When I search email for receipt there was no email. I visited the 10th and Washington location to close out storage unit that I never use and didn't receive close out email confirmation and worse a bill was send to my emergency contact stated I owe for storage. I took lock off the storage unit in the same month I purchase unit because I didn't need the storage unit after all.

Clean, easy access, secure, but office staff, although were efficient, weren't friendly. ALSO, IN VIOLATION OF THE CITY ORDIANCE, NO CUSTOMER, VISITOR, OR EMPLOYEE WORE MASKS IN THE OFFICE OR IN THE STORAGE AREAS.

When I purchase the storage unit it came with elevator services I had to catch a flight and store my property this was a nightmare as I had to rent a truck for nothing I had to carry heavy items up 4 flights of stairs this was super inconvenience back hurts and staff no help

I was advised via phone that my unit was free for 30 days. When I arrived, the person assisting me advised that they only do 30 days free for one-way truck rentals. I told her that uhaul rep who helped me did not say that. I was then escorted to my unit through a facility that was filthy.
