The only thing I can say is that they need more staff. The staff they have is amazing well the two individuals I dealt with was wonderful. it was a young lady and a gentleman. The man was doing the job of two workers at the very least. He was helpful and had excellent customer service given the number of people on site.

Great service from the representatives. The only issue i had was that the truck i received A/C didn't wrk as good as it could run. Maybe certain trucks need Maintenance. The truck was clean on the inside.

The initial truck that I was given had a faulty ignition that the clerks knew about. After walking from the store to the truck twice to try to get the truck started I demanded a different truck. My wait in line to get my rental was super log as well. No one was there to my return. A young lady finally came out and took the key and said she would return it but didn't. I ended up getting a call from another rep later about why I left the truck with the key in it. I explained that young lady in a light green polo took the key and said she would return it once she moved the other truck that she has to move. That obviously did not happen.

I had a fourth of a tank of gas broke the vehicle back with a half a tank of gas they did not give me credit for the extra four for the tank that I had put in the tank I think that's really really really really really really really unfair you all could have least gave me credit for the dollies I rented it seems like you are being so mean in gangster

Please secure the dolly in the truck more securely. The dolly easy came ajar without my assistance and I'll be charged for it even though I didn't use it. Other than that minor hiccup no complaints

The key to the vehicle couldn't be found. I waited almost 15 minutes of the young man walking around aimlessly inquiring if anyone had seen the key. I finally asked if there was another vehicle. He stated to a peer that someone else was assigned the other vehicle at 10a. He was young so i understand his deductive reasoning skills are still being developed. The worker that was assisting another customer told him "Oh well she was here first so give her the other one" which obviously was the best decision to make. He was hesitant, why, I do not know. Then I suggested, by asking, "Can you go check the vehicle to see if the keys were left inside by mistake?" He checked and no key still. I didn't get a vehicle until after 10a. I couldn't update any of the images because the switch in the system hadn't occurred, nor did i receive updated documents. A courtesy call to let me know it was switched would've been appropriate. More organization is needed but the workers are nice at this location and they keep the store and property well maintained

The two ladies at this location were very unprofessional one was a general manager the other one was terrible her name started with a D while she was assisting me she answered her FaceTime and began talking on her phone about someone having herpes to whoever she was on the phone with she was so busy on the phone that she didn't even read me the contract me as an district manager I would never allow my employees to take personal phone calls while assisting customers at the time of a rental

Cleaned and will maintained shouldn't be one and the same question. Yes. The truck was very clean. Well maintained, I wouldn't say yes exactly. The truck was pretty dinged and scratches up, there was no gas cap on the gas tank which maybe he why it drove so slow and joggy. It performed what needed to get done and the staff was very polite and customer service oriented, even when there were a lot of people there and not a lot of employees. From what I witnessed they handled all things very professionally.

Everyone was incredibly professional and helpful! I was able to check in using my mobile device which made the whole process faster. I went in a day before my check in to ask questions and they were extremely helpful and gave me great advice. When I checked out they were attentive and thorough. They went over everything to make sure I understood it all. I would highly recommend this location to everyone!

Staff ended up being extremely helpful but not without a lot of work on my and my wife's part first. FYI this was not the drop off location. This is where the broken trailer was taken so we could get a replacement. Overall my experience with Uhaul at the pick up location and over the phone was terrible and I will avoid using and recommending U-haul to anyone.

The dolly's and blankets were not loaded on the truck and I was asked to back the truck into the garage and load them myself. I did need to ask for help with the appliance dolly. I'm not sure if this is normal or not but I thought it was strange. I also had to dispute almost ever area of the truck exterior for damages. There were several more damaged areas than stickers and I certainly didn't want to be charged for it. So I believe that the inspections prior to a client receiving a truck and the appropriate stickers would save a lot of time.

According to my experience, the phone service should be more up to date to where the answering system should be the last option. There should be a actual person that works at that particular store answering the phones at all times for customers instead of being sent to an answering system.

The worker was very impersonal nobody greeted me as I entered the establishment. I also had to go and get my truck off the parking lot. Mind you the truck was not clean in the back. My overall experience was just not pleasant.👎🏽

I have used this location several times and they are always great. But I must say returning my truck I didn't know that I didn't have to stand in line , which I did for about 15 minutes before I was notified 🤦🏾‍♀️once someone meets you when you enter the garage you're checked in. Also the customer service person at the desk (a male) was a little rude. I understand under staffed and there is a way to say anything. He should be trained better in customer service. I returned my truck about 4:00 pm Friday

I was mislead totally. The rep told me that they ran out of Dollie's in store even though I reserved that and a truck days before. He then said that it's one on my truck and that he'll just charge me for it when I returned the truck. I accepted that deal and went on my way. When I returned to pick up truck ( location was closed) and I went home to move my things and when I opened the truck there was no dollie. So now I had to move everything by hand which wasn't the plan. To add insult to injury, I was moving during the night and parked the truck overnight to continue my move in the morning. I attempted to lock the truck and the stationary lock from U-Haul is broken… How does that happen to a customer who thinks when they reserve the truck that everything that was stated to be included it would be functioning. I had to go and purchase my own lock to make sure my items don't get stolen. No check and balances were don't to prevent this from happening and I'm sure it's taken place as I type this message. Something needs to be done about this because as a business this is unacceptable and false advertisement as well. Do better U-Haul, go check on your stores no matter what neighborhood their in. You placed them in that area for a reason, so treat it with the same dignity you do the others.

The space at this location is ridiculous and the so called bigger units can only be access by a 10 foot truck or van so ppl with 3/4 bedrooms has to pack the 10 foot then transfer to the other truck before Living the facility I picked up my truck at 230 and did not leave until 5 because of double juggling not to mention my reservations were messed up coming here and now my truck couldn’t be checked in because the representative didn’t change the mileage I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN

I was pleasantly and QUIITE surprised about the great customer service! I visited the location once before move-in. The all staff members that I interacted with both prior to and during my move-in were fantastic and graciously answered all my questions and showed me around. Again, I'm impressed, because being born and raised down south, I'm just not used to getting good customer service in Chicago (in general), so the experience was quite a welcomed surprise. The staff over at south shore is incredible! Ms. Denise is so personable and professional. She really takes care of the customers and we stand in line just to have her service us. I rented a storage unit about 30 mins before they were supposed to close. Ms. Denise stayed with me to unsure I was safe, especially since non of my helpers showed up. I appreciate Ms. Denise.
