This center was great, after experiencing a disaster at the first location I went to they wouldn't even give a discount after the truck that was supposed to be ready would not start and was filthy inside. Ended up being 10min. Late for work and at this point still had no truck. Thanks for the University u-haul location.Michael D.

Along the drive to St. Louis, I had to make a stop, and when I did, I saw oil spatteredÂ all over the back of my car. It was brake fluid from the trailer's brake system, which is mounted on the tongue, roughly 12 inches behind my rear bumper. I then had to make another stop to cover the brake system in plastic, and then find a car wash to clean up my car (brake fluid and painted surfaces are not a good combination). Once that mess was cleaned up, the rest of the drive was uneventful. After unloading, I attempted to drop off the trailer at the designated location. They had already closed, so I called the phone number I was instructed to use for an after hours drop off. When I called the number, I received an automated message saying the system was temporarily unavailable (at approximately 9PM CT on a Sunday), and to try again later. I tried 3-4 more times and received the same irritating message. So I left, with the trailer in tow, and came back the next morning, when the location was open. The drop-off process was uneventful and went as smoothly as I expected. It was not spectacular and not horrible, simply average. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate my overall experience a 4 (below average). The usability of the online reservation system was very poor. It was not helpful, and frankly provided a poor customer experience. The telephone system was no better. It was not helpful, it was frustrating. The people that I was able to speak to, were professional and helpful. They listened to my concerns and did the best they could to address them. Would I recommend UHaul to a friend? Absolutely not. Will I use UHaul again? Possibly, but only after exploring every other option and competitor first.ÂMARC O.
