Had to settle for uncovered trailer because the trailer that was guaranteed (I use this term lightly) was not available. Had a flat tire and had to wait over an hour in the rain as all of my stuff got soaking wet because my guaranteed trailer was not available. This location was great, the fact that I did not get my guaranteed covered trailer was a major problem and the flat tire added to the problem. So would I recommend uhaul â€¦ in short NO. Every time I have rented a trailer from uhaul there had been some issue as to equipment or location pick up. I rented a trailer 3 times in the last month, problem every time.Vonnie H.

I should've gotten a better offer and assistance with uhaul since I was inconvenienced for 6 hours. I booked the reservations early to stay on track with this move and I was thrown away. I had to keep calling for help nobody called me they just wanted to send messages which they stated takes a few days. The location in CENTER, TX wasn't at fault nor the one in Houston again it was the fault of the Bossier City, LA locations issue that they threw away.SHELIA O.
I got a text telling me that I had to drop off the trailer in a city other than the city that I was moving to because the city was not accepting drop offs. This was false. The other drop off place would have caused me a 60 mile round trip. I recommend that you leave the drop off location blank so you can choose where you drop off and check the contract to be sure drop off does no have call the 877 # it or you will be on the phone hold forever.IRMGARD J.

Called the return place talked to a person named Christie and asked if I could return truck to a closer location she said sure no problem, Well drove to two closer locations and both said no! So after driving farther then I should have I returned it to the location on my paperwork. I asked her to inspect vehicle and she said don't worry about it. Poorly serviced vehicle with transmission issues, gave tons of trouble and concerning gear shifting issues throughout trip. Car stalled, breaks failed once. Continuously had to stop in the middle of route and re-hear or turn engine off and turn back on to get van to shift correctly.Destini R.

Not to satisfied with the guy who hooked the trailer he just installed trailer in to the hitch and not even secured the chain around. Than he didn't connected the light harness, to the vahicle he didn't walk around to make sure light works properly then he give attitude to customers he name is jason he's to lazy that job is not for him he should get fire.. if i didn't double check everything and the trailer come out of the vehicle that can cause serious accident then who's fault we be i wouldn't recommend that placeRogelio H.

Eventhough I had to go to several different locations before I found an actual U-Haul facility, because the one listed on my contract was apparently closed indefinitely. But once I did find the U-Haul facility located on FM1960 Humble, Tx, the return process was very smooth and easy!ORLANDIS T.
The truck we had was trash. Smells of god knows what. The ac was poor. The driver's seat was broken down. Gear shifter was not working right. When you turn the wheel you had like 1.5 of play before it moved. But it was cheap to rental.VAN C.

Then we had to change our pickup time the day of and Paula happened to answer the phone, she made all the last minute updates we needed and made the transition so smooth! When I closed out my storage unit, I received a call from one of your associates telling me that I had cut my lock off of the unit. I stayed that he was wrong in his assumption and asked why would I do that. His response was, they do it all of the time. At thAt point I lost it! The nerve of him to accuse me of something that I hadn't done. When I got a break from my work, I drove back over to your facility to explain to him that he shouldn't ever accuse someone of wrongdoing if you don't have the backing of solid evidence. I told lock with me to show him that it hadn't been cut off. I don't appreciate him saying that an told him that my phone records every conversation that I have because it's my work phone. I stored my things from 2016-2020 the increase every few months for “pest control” was ridiculous especially when I cleaned out my initial unit 219 and saw several dead mice. Some had eaten through some of my belongings. Then I moved to a smaller unit 226 because I only had a few things to store and after only being in that unit a month you charge an increase for “pest control” . Thank fully I no longer need your services because you definitely price gauge and don’t deliver.
