The trailer provided had a faulty jacking mechanism that did not raise and lower the nose of the car hauler properly. Something was broken with the crank and it did not work most of the time. This is the SECOND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE I've had with a trailer from Uhaul has been faulty in this manner. Being unable to raise or lower the nose of the trailer properly, we had to use our own hydraulic vehicle jack to hitch and unhitch the trailer. If this ever happens again I will demand a full refund.

I returned the vehicle at 10:30 on 11/13. there was a long line and a girl in customer service asked if anybody is returning the car, and I said yes. She got the car's key from and said "you're set". I asked that do I get anything and she said "you are fine" couple hours late I was billed for an extra day of rental and an extra day for insurance. You guys have the return time for the van at 11:33 which is not correct. it seems like you billed me when you get the chance to enter the information in the system rather the true time of returning the van. I have tried to call couple times, but nobody answers calls. Please return the extra day of charges for insurance, rental and taxes. Seems like Ms. Marissa Mendez checked me in. The Manager was very helpful with the missing blankets that I was unable to get at the Antioch location. They had no dollys for the truck as recommended by Antioch, however they had dollys for sale. Bought one of those with a discount. He also provided the missing blankets I had requested. He also documented the condition of the truck for me in my file.

I was super disappointed. I watched the lady disinfect the truck but when I got in it was disgusting. It smelled like smoke, empty bottles rolling out from under the seat and the cup holders had so much filth that I didn't even want to put my water in. Thanks, Kim

Trailer wasn't ready. Two people at counter. 12 people in line. Internet kept going down.. employee confirmed its a shit show every weekend. You people need to figure out a quick self checking system. Fucked up experience almost half the time at Concord Uhaul, San Ramon Uhaul. Dublin Uhaul is better.

My move was last minute and renting a Uhaul was very stressful because no location could accommodate my needs. The location at 2291 Monument Blvd in Concord Ca came through for me at the very last minute! They were so pleasant when I arrived to the location...very friendly and we laughed ourselves silly during the rental pickup and return process!!! My kind of professional team...AWSOME job luvs and thank you for all of your help!!! I definitely recommend this location to all that's reading this review!!!

I am only rating this high because the actual pick-up location was helpful. Customer service in the days leading up to the pick-up were beyond horrible. The agents were rude, and it took a minimum of 22 minutes to get a real person, one wait was almost 40 minutes and the information she gave me was incorrect and poorly delievered.

More up to date pics when accepting the vehicle so I can move through the process faster. I had to retake every pic to ensure I wasn't responsible for damage and the pics provided had very little of the damage in the pics. Seemed like the pics were aged which could have made me liable.

The prior driver did not return the vehicle on time and this affected our rental; however, Melissa did her best to make things work us and was able to get us into a truck before mid day. I was not happy with Uhaul but she saved the day. You should be happy you have good employees like her!

The physical location is not that great. It's in the middle of Concord I want a busiest streets. However the staff there is fantastic. Very friendly, helpful, very courteous. Thanks.

We requested a pick up location in Oakland, Ca at 10 am. We received a pick up location in Concord,Ca at 2 pm, so no, not so good plus when you pay by the mile, this did not seem right.

Touch less worked well in the time of COVID Was told I'd receive a follow up email on final tally Small hiccup trying to pay my uhaul affiliated movers for an additional hour. While waiting to get my truck the store manager with super bad attitude like always and I mean always because I rent from there often. She was arguing with a couple with a ton of people waiting to be help witch I find very unprofessional. The trucks need maintenance and for sure need to come up with a cleaning structure. I do understand that it's a very busy site and trucks are in and out all the time but also feel that we the customers shouldn't feel uncomfortable and feel like we need to shower right away after getting in those trucks. U-Haul is a professional establishment with multiple locations and feel like they can afford to at least have clean and reliable trucks.

Marissa and team go above and beyond. Our church has been serving about 3000 people per month with food. We don't own a truck for picking up 30,000 pounds of food from stores and the food bank. So we come to Monument Uhaul to rent our trucks for food pick up every week. Marissa has arranged for us to have discounts and for a few months we were needing a truck twice a week. We were comped a rental during that time if we rented twice that week. It has been a huge blessing for us because we operate on donations and help neighborhood champions like Marissa and Monument Uhaul. We are grateful for your care of the neighborhood.

I was fraudulently charged for fuel, even though truck was returned with more than the a quarter tank, the amount of fuel that I received her with was only a quarter tank. This is not how you do business. Frauding elderly disabled consumers.
