They did not fill the gas to 1/4 it was on E and then I had to pay to not only fill the tank to use but also refill to the 1/4 at the end.

When I dropped off trailer staff seemed not to care that the suspension was broken. This is a potentially dangerous condition and should be fixed. No offer of refund or apology of faulty equipment

Was given a truck that was behind another truck so I had to go back to the front desk to get that issue resolved. She ended up just switching me to the truck in front. Then I was never sent the new text link for that truck so I had to go back inside again. What should have been 5 minutes turned into 15 minutes

Khatira QI was dropping off a trailer and went into the office for assistance. Inside was a little guy with the long hair helping another customer. I noticed he had a cell phone permantly affixed to his hand and spoke in two word sentences. When I told him I was dropping off a trailer he said "Out back" and slowly turned and walked away staring into his cell phone. After he finally disconnected the trailer he then wheeled over a dolly to move it. The dolly uses a simple lever and fulcrum design to raise the trailer tongue off the ground. He was unable to do this even after numerous attempts because the upright obviously needed to be adjusted. When I pointed this out to him he said "Doesn't move." So I adjusted it for him and miraculously he was able to raise it on his first attempt, I then helped him pushed the trailer back and forth to its storage location. No thanks or acknowelegement what so ever, he just walked away in slow motion staring at his phone. I never spend my time writing reviews and I doubt anyone at UHAUL even cares, they likely have the market cornered and have no interest in their daily operations, only dollars on a spread-sheet.

We ran into a small snag from a hitch install. Brodee spent several hours locating the correct part. He’s very knowledgeable, patient, and knows how to treat a customer with respect. maria kI ordered a 20ft truck a week in advance. I arrived the morning of my move and they informed me there were no 20 ft trucks available and that they were overbooked. Nobody had attempted to contact me ahead of time to make other arrangements and I had movers meeting me to load the truck in only a couple hours. They looked at several nearby locations in an attempt to find another truck but those locations were closed well beyond when I needed the truck by so they ended up having to give me a 26 ft truck instead. What kind of booking system allows further reservations when the supplies don’t exist?! And when it does, why the hell didn’t someone contact me and let me know so I could make other arrangements?! Is nobody overseeing their reservations?! I seriously considered letting this go and not saying anything but what would have happened if they didn’t have the larger truck?! Not only was this incredibly stressful the morning of my move but I still had to pay full price for it and the situation was handled in a completely haphazard and reactionary manner that very well could have left me footing the bill for a move that never happened. Very disappointing.

Milt WBrody was amazing!!! Seriously—great customer service is rare these days, but Brody delivers it effortlessly. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain all my options, made sure I had the right equipment, and even shared a few tips that made my move way easier than expected. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job and helping people, not just rushing through transactions. Everything was quick, stress-free, and organized. I will definitely be a life long customer because of him! He is a major asset to the company!
Daniel WOil or replace the padlock on the rear of the truck, fix the right turn signal and attach the dash under panel so that it's not in the way of the brake release.
Aaron MVehicle was older with over 150,000 miles. Truck exterior was damaged, interior fairly worn. Key complaint here was cost of gas. I transported a light load which was half a truck for the 10' panel van, nothing really heavy. My total distance driven was 31 miles. I added four gallons of gas before returning the truck and was still charged for an additional 3 gallons of gas. Something is not right if a U-Haul truck is only getting 4.4 miles a gallon (31 miles/7 gallons of gas). What can be improved? Not overcharging a customer for gas or fix your fuel gauge.

Mark MThis Uhaul saved my bacon.... I originally reserved my trailer for pickup at San Mateo for a one way trip back to Reno, NV. I was staying in Walnut Creek Saturday night, drove 4 hours with traffic down Saturday afternoon and received a notification 3 hours into the drive that my reservation was cancelled and that I should reschedule my reservation... I called U-haul trying to find a solution, informed them of where I was staying and the first gentleman I got ahold of said my reservation was a "request" for a trailer. He could not find a solution. I called a second time, they person could not find a solution and said no trailers were available. I called a third time and that person said there was a trailer available in Concord, 20 minutes away from Walnut Creek. Receiving a notification the night before you are supposed to pickup a trailer or truck that it is now not available, and that you need to reschedule, is beyond stressful...

Kevin MThe counter representative appeared distracted and not wanting to be there. He was in a hurry (my wife and I were the only customers there -7:15 am). The rental keys were handed to me and I was told the truck was outside. No walk-around inspection or offer to explain how truck equipment worked with the representative was offered. The inside cab of the truck was free of trash, but it was obvious the dashboard, steering wheel and seats had not been wiped down/cleaned. I have rented from the Concord center before and I was disappointed with the start of this transaction. The truck and rented equipment worked just fine. Please improve on customer service (customer engagement) and cleaning the truck cabs.

Rex MFront desk people are not very personable. They can try to be more “people” persons. Not rude or anything, just lacking friendly or accommodating personality.
CRIS RI always expect delays when using U-hual, but I did not expect to wait an hour for my equipment. We did all of the check-in steps on the app before showing up and still somehow we had to do it again in person. The guy helping us had way too much on his plate with propane fills and a full line of people and of course the equipment was not checked in so he had to physically go search for it in the yard. Eventually a second person came, but that did not help much as the system kept having issues on both computers. U-hual needs to support their workers and improve the software and systems they use daily.
Benjamin GOutstanding experience at the U-Haul on Monument! They introduced me to their self-dispatch service, and honestly, it’s a lifesaver. I’ve now used it for both pickup and drop-off, and it made the whole process quick and easy. Even though their customer service is already great, this takes it to another level. I’ll definitely be using this method from now on. I’ll be back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a quick question, and she introduced me to the manager, Brody, who was also very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this location. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Michael BBad attitude. I found the trailor ball still connected to my car after the trailor was remove d. When I rented the trailor it was put on the car. I was not charged for it. I thought it came with the trailor rental. Apparently it is an extra purchase. I did not purchase it. I called uhaul and was told to keep it. The female at the Monument uhaul had an ugly attitude

GREG BAbsolutely horrible experience. First off there is no cell service at this location which is no fault of yours but the representative also indicated no WiFi access. I find that strange as you all prompt for mobile check in, there is no option for guest WiFi. So I wasn’t able to redeem vehicle by myself I had to get assistance from young Gen Z kid who was EXTREMELY disrespectful and negilgent not only to me but your equipment as well.

Robert CTrain and/or develop customer service training for the gentleman at the front desk with long wavy hair. He displayed terrible customer service. No greeting, speaking to customers snarky & you just generally get the sense that he doesn’t like his job nor wants to be there.
