This location is understaffed and there is always a line of people waiting to be helped. The 26 ft truck we were given was clean but there was a leak at the driver's side wheel well and several pieces of my furniture were water damaged. Because I didn't take the SafeMove insurance (which only covers damages if the truck is in an accident) they won't do anything to compensate me.PATRICE MICHELE M.

Answer the fucking phone. Hire more people. Don't bait and switch your customers. Teach employees how to provide customer service. Stop referring to products as â€œupgradesâ€ when they're not the ones I reserved and got confirmation on â€” having to pay more and worry about furniture sliding around in too large a space is not an â€œupgradeâ€. Rental experience was to be expected and very helpful to process through the self guided mobile app since I was picking up/dropping off outside normal business hours. Room for improvement: day of the rental I received a notification on the app that I can pick up the rental at â€œ9AM when the location opensâ€. I selected my pickup time for 8AM. This notification was misleading that I needed to wait 1 hour, which based on my schedule crunched where I needed to be on time. Once I got to the location about 8:50AM, the mobile app would let me process the rental and I didn't need to wait until 9AM to talk to someone in person. It was this notification that made me delay my arrival, have to have a Plan B, when in reality I was fine all along.Justin H.

I waited 1 1/2 hours in line, even thought I arrive there 1 hour earlier!! I lost 1 hour of the moving help I contract because of the delay, and I am pretty sure U-Haul won't pay for that time. The guy in the counter was alone, he did what he could running around trying to help everyone, but it was a lack of planning from U-Haul to having just 1 person. The staff was professional and helpful. The area designated for equipment return was essentially an alley, and was littered with personal items removed from other rental trucks and equipment used to maintain trucks. So the equipment return area looked FILTHY, very unprofessional. If not for the helpful staff, I would NOT recommend this U-haul location.Mitchell S.
I set up the rental to use your 24/7 App. I was able to do the preliminary check-in however the truck was not ready (wedged in between other trucks so there was no way to get it out and also the furniture pads we not in the truck. The clerk at the store said they never bother because everyone always ends up coming into the store. The key for the truck was not in the lockbox it too was still in the store. Good thing I picked up during store hours!! Also, I decided not to rent the dolly so the clerk didn't bring one out, however he didn't remove it from my contract and also they showed I had 24 furniture pads, but I only ordered 12 and 12 is what they gave me. The guy at Andy's Party Store where I dropped off the truck was very understanding and did not charge me for anything..Thomas A.

Despite reserving weeks in advance, my pick up location did not have the equipment needed. They called me just over an hour before pickup to tell me this, and had me drive 30 minutes away to pickup at another location. At the new location, the employee had no idea we were coming and was not ready for us. The truck had just over half a tank of gas (we returned it on full), and our mileage on the contract was off by about 3000 miles. The truck itself was fine, and we appreciated the later store hours (closed at 7pm) for dropping off. Overall I dont think I would use uhaul again because we have had better experiences with other companies.BENJAMIN ADAM K.
Reserved a 6x12 trailer. We knew we weren't going to be ready right at our reservation time so we called earlier in the morning to make sure it was okay if we were late and they said it was totally fine so we show up a little over an hour after our reservation time (mind you we reserved it until the next morning) and they had given our trailer away! We had to wait around for at least 20 minutes until someone dropped off a 5x8 that we were luckily able to use but it made it a lot more inconvenient. The person helping us was very rude about the whole thing but the person from corporate that i called afterwards was very friendly in helping me get the $50 reservation guarantee. You would think if someone is a little late that they might notify them before giving away their reservation. Overall i will not be using this location again if i can avoid itRobert S.

I was very disappointed in the truck that was rented to me the air conditioning did not work properly and it had front end problems. The truck shocks so bad that I could only do 55 miles an hour at best. When I let the people No at the location I returned the truck at they didn't really seem to care.
