Glen FMy overall experience was excellent until I rec’d my bill. I pd $621 for a one-way drive from LA to Marina Ca. I returned the car with an extra 1/4 tank of gas (~$20) and made sure the inside was cleaned up. I then rec’d an additional charge of $43 because it was 1.5 hrs late in returning it. I didn’t even mention that when I picked it up I had to wait since they had to remove a lock in the back of the truck. I contacted the manager at the western/Carson branch in Torrance ca and they refused to make any adjustment in my case. This was a 10’ ft truck which is usually $19/day. This is a terrible policy with no flexibility with good paying customers.

MICHEL SI was overcharged for a truck that had a broken sideview mirror. I called multiple times and did get a hold of someone, who told me I had to wait for their manager to call back. Their manager never called back despite multiple follow ups. I am still waiting for the refund that was promised me. I am extremely disappointed.

Juan FWhen I brought truck back the tendant was rude a rushy stating he would email receipt. He checked me out an hour later and changed gas when I brought it back more than the quarter tank I left with. Bad exit service.

Roy AThey triple charged me. The truck was dirty. They did not answer the phone, it went to a call center. The trucks side view mirror was loose and did not stay in place. I don’t think I will use them again. If I have to rent a truck again, it will not be at that location.

Tomohisa KExplain fuel gauge amount. I picked up the Ram Pro Master cargo van and learned too late that the fuel was at half full when I picked it up. I spent $123.00 to completely fill the tank, only to learn that Uhaul does not reimburse over fueling. That's $60.00 that I lost unnecessarily because no one explained anything

MANUEL AWe rented a 10' truck for a local Costco pickup. We made our purchase and grabbed a couple of Costco's guys to help us load the truck. But... there was a padlock on the back of the truck. I called our neighborhood U-Haul location, but they didn't answer. The main number answered and tried to reach my local U-Haul, but again, no answer. I was transferred to another person who also tried the local store. Fortunately, she was able to find the combination for the lock. 20 minute delay. I reported the problem when we returned the truck (it also had a burned out headlight). They told us that homeless people sometimes sleep in the trucks, so they padlock them, but apparently forgot to remove it when rented. It wasn't a horrible transaction, but it really added to my already crappy day.

KEVIN DWhen the morning manager Mike checked in my truck, it was a one day rental and he billed me for over and close to 5000 miles and my bill was $3300. Luckily I checked my receipts. I called and complained and he said he just made the mistake and move the decimal point over one and rolled the wrong number. Not checking to see if it was correct and he submitted it. He got processed through my bank as pending luckily I was able to call the bank and let them know what’s going on and the charges are getting reversed, but it’s ridiculous that I would have to do that. I told him that Jeff the manager would not make this mistake and that he needs to take his time and not rush the job especially when you checked in my truck at 5:30 in the morning this is freaking ridiculous. Other than that everything went well.

DANIAL Ethe trailer waaaaaas in good condition, but trash in it a cigarette box and papers left in it, i did return the trailer the same day but the person working there didnt return the trailer on paper till the next day i was there at around 400pm. the next day i get a call from the location that when am i going to return the trailer when it was already there. ? i even tried to store the trailer before anyone came out of the office, the worker stop me telling me its a maintanence problem. there to do that?

ONYEBUCHI Nwell for one the staff are slow to respond; they are not looking at the trucks close enough and expect you! to make sure they did their job cleaning and making sure the dollies are locked down , almost got charged for that and was pretty upset at their incompetence, however not all bad i do rent what i expect to rent so, they lack some curtesy and respectful response. I would still use them but this time around i didn't really like my experience, I've rented from them 4 or 5 times already. Ive seen them upset customers and do nothing to remedy the situation.

JESUS AWe had very bad experience with Uhaul Seattle where we got the ubox delivered. At Carson we scheduled access to the box two days prior and when we actually went there the box was not accessible.
