Vacuum leak caused dangerous driving conditions.

KENT ACustomer service was very terrible, i received my 15’ box truck here in Pasco, Washington off of court st. with 3/4 of gasoline.i refilled the tank to the same point it was filled at. They still had the nerve to charge my account an extra amount of dollars to fill their tank. I would never recommend this to anyone. the fact that you have to rent the vehicle pay for miles and pay your own gasoline is an excessive amount. Disappointed.

ISRAEL RInspect the equipment before renting it out. When we opened the trailer it reeked of gasoline. We had to take time to come back and have it replaced with a different one.

BRIAN VI rented a 15’ moving truck. I was told the gas tank was full and to bring it back full. I didn’t think much about it but when I got the truck home about 10 miles away I noticed that the gas was below the 3/4 mark. I stopped and got gas to top off the tank. The truck took an additional 8 gallons to fill. I contacted the pickup location regarding this matter. They told me that I had to say something or use the app to correct it at time of pick up and it was too late now. I explain to the attendant that no one told me that I had to verify the gas on the app. So in order not to get charged extra I had to eat the cost on the 8 gallons to return the truck back full of gas. She simply said sorry and that was that.
MANUEL AI dropped off while open. Multiple Employees were standing around talking to whoever was cleaning the truck and no one asked if I needed help or welcomed me or anything. Poor customer service.

Juanita Y | Overall ExperienceAbsolutely NO customer service. They force you to use the app - which I did. I rented a truck, furniture pads, a furniture dolly, and utility dolly. I picked up the truck , brought it home, and nothing was in the truck. I called. Same girl picked it up and told me she remembered me and I did NOT order those additional items. I drove the truck back down to the location. The same person didn’t know what to do and specifically stated: “I don’t know why the app let you rent anything, we don’t have them.” Then, she called her manager and the manager said that since I didn’t get them, I wouldn’t be charged. Well guess what? I was charged. For two days. They also don’t tell you to make sure to fuel up the truck OR how to check the truck back in - on the app! It was awful. I wasn’t the only person frustrated on that Saturday, either. Not only does this location NOT HAVE essential moving supplies, but they also didn’t have a certified forklift operator nor did they have a certified person to run the propane tanks. On a Saturday. It was just an awful experience.

JERRY DMelissa was so helpful and quick. She made sure we got what we needed and were out of there and on the road quickly. Her and her employee make a great team. Will definitely be using this location again. I came to buy boxes before this rental and Melissa made sure I got the correct boxes that I needed and her employee helped me out and put them all in my car for me. Thanks again U-Haul!
MACARIO LExcellent service quick, cheap, and we STILL do not have a truck payment. Cargo van was great for moving a desk that took less than 2 hours.

Maisy MDon't accept rentals and then NOT have the equipment at the location(s) your company sent me to. When I arrived I was told that my original location did not have the u-haul I requested. I was then sent to another location, and no one was there. Only to be sent to a third location where they finally had the truck I needed. This whole experience was extremely agitating as I had a schedule with an auction house I was trying to accommodate. This is totally unacceptable!

Once I arrived, I was with the employee for maybe five minutes. After, the employee answered all proper questions and provided instructions on the rental.

AMIE BIm not the usual kind to leave a bad review, but the service at this location was very lacking. The receptionist Anayeli, appeared bored to be speaking to you and provided little to no information on cost, fueling, and other general information and failed to inform us about the pre-driving screening in order to provide accurate mileage and equipment condition. We had called before hand and when we spoke with Anayeli she answered rudely and hung up quickly. As a first time renter, I definitely felt this was not a first good experience

Plus it got everything on the right side of the trailer on the bottom wet. When I told the associate that checked me back in about the issue, she acted as though she couldn’t care less.

ETHAN VYou will have to excuse my rant what I think of people who don’t know what they’re doing. I am not sure if I will continue to go to this particular place because customer service I rate as good doesn’t rent you a trailer without the blinker/brake light working. I did my part, I had a license and paid for the use of it. Yet, ultimately, I know I am the responsible party (driver)in the long run. I did go ahead and continue my schedule which wasn’t very responsible. I could have got a fix-it ticket or a failure to use turn signal. Which would increase my insurance rate, interrupt my schedule, and put a hole in my pocket. I can accept that I choose to do what I did. But it is not up to me to accept the condition of the trailer based on someone else’s word. I would like to know when you have/had the trailer inspected and to be informed of its repair. DANIEL GNext time make sure the tires have air in them the last rental I stopped at the location I expect the tires to have air and I shouldn’t have to stop there and not get helped I had to stop at the Les swabb to put air inside of the tires if I’m on the freeway and I get a flat tire at 60 mph and cause a crash is the company going to pay for my hospital bills is the company going to pay for my therapy for my time off of work I better get some answers to these questions immediately you got that. This time don’t waste my time.

JUAN HThe person that helped me hook up the trailer appeared to be in training without oversight. Even though she helped me get the adapter for the trailer lights, she did not go over anything on the trailer to include letting me know I needed to do an inspection before leaving the lot. I got the text with the link to inspect the trailer after I had already gotten to my house and it had expired. I called the Pasco dealership and told them I had taken pictures. When I left two days later to start my trip, everything seemed ok. Every time I stopped for gas, I checked straps, lights, and safety chains. At Boise Idaho I discovered the tail light adapter had come loose and I went to the Meridian dealership to get a new one. While there, they noted that the break away cable was almost severed (the wires of the exposed section of the cable were rusted- they had been in that condition for some time). They were also highly concerned with the condition of the driver side tire that had the inside section of the tread worn smooth. The helped me secure the new tail light converter, changed the tire and suggested that I call roadside assistance to replace the cable since they did not have one on hand. I chose to wait until I turned the trailer in to address that issue. Idaho and Texas dealerships get 10/10 rating. Pasco dealership gets a 5/10 at best.

RICKY CEngine light was on and wiper blades needed replaced. I was told truck was three quarters full , but it only had half a tank of gas.
TWILA LUhaul overall is overpriced for the average person to use one way. But the value is that the equipment is always in good working order and the staff is always awesome.
KATHERNE SStorage and move out was fine! Big pain in the butt on my rental I picked up. Employee made a mistake on a trailer pick up I was making for U-Haul to go with my truck rental. After I had paid and loaded my truck, she reversed charges on my card with out asking and tried to charge it again. So it got denied. I was told that I had to use another card to fix her mistake. While helping helping me during this 2 hour process, she would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time. Then at the end, when I acquired another form of payment and came back in couldn’t find her and was then told she left! Fortunately another employee had heard the whole thing and jumped in and got me on my way! It was not a good experience but eventually got resolved

My issue wasn't with the U-Haul facility in Pasco Wa, on Court Street. They are excellent, my ratings are based on their store. They are my favorite U-Haul facility. My issue was with whoever set up my storage unit reservation. I was assured that a 5x10 storage unit would hold a one bedroom apartment, which I responded that I was moving a studio apartment, which the person responded that could be done. She found a U-Haul store in Pasco, WA on Court Street. Which I happily agreed with. She told me that all I needed to do was go the counter of that store and they would tell me what storage unit I had. When I went to the counter of that store they had no idea of a reservation for me. They were kind enough to provide me with a 5x7 unit which I had been told would handle a studio apartment. Once we had halfway to 3/4 of the way loaded the unit it became clearly obvious that there was no way we could get the remainder of our load in the unit. I had helpers who assisted me in moving but they had to leave. I went back to the store counter and explained to a worker my problem and how I had been told that a 5x7 unit would hold a one bedroom apartment, in which the worker responded "he didn't know why anyone would tell me that". He suggested a 10x10 unit which he allowed me to look at. I agreed it would work. The new unit was located on the other side of their facility from the 5x10 unit and involved climbing a set of stairs. Fortunately I was able to get more help to unload the 5x10 unit and help load the 10x10 unit. Needless to say quite a bit of work and frustration. The employees at the Pasco store were exceptional. They fixed the sliding glass doors where they would stay open and they allowed us to use whatever hand trucks we needed. If I had filled out a survey based on my reserving a U-Haul storage unit, my ratings would be totally unsatisfactory and I certainly would not recommend anyone to use that service. U-Haul did offer me a $25.00 compensation. Not near enough compensation for what I went through. Thank you for allowing me to vent about the truth.

I moved my belongings out shortly before my free month was up but when I received notification that my account was charged I called to find out why. It was a general customer service line and was told my account wasn't closed. I decided to drive to the facility because it's close to where I live. I thought I was going to have difficulty getting the charge reversed but no...the girl helping me was kind and just like that, the account was closed and the charge was reversed. Melissa, the manager, is also amazing...I'd recommend this place to anyone.
