Employees could be a friendlier. And I gave the lady my driver's license and saw the correct way of spelling my name and they didn't correct the spelling of my name. I had been told in the past I could take extra boxes I buy back, if I don't use or need. Never was told I needed my receipt to return. So to my surprise I was taken back some boxes and got told I could not return them cause I did not have receipt. We tried for over a year to get a larger storage unit(was a customer for 2years) and we asked about getting on waiting list and we’re told we would just have to keep calling back and hopefully one one be available. We did this almost every month for past year. Then… finally went with an outdoor unit (over phone) was told “yeah, no problem, we have it reserved for you”— told her we wouldn’t be moving in for Couple of weeks, but we would start paying. When I arrived to move in—they did not even have us down for one, saying a reservation doesn’t really mean we would get one anyway. WTH? And then we’re told there were none open. Somebody “just reserved the last large unit”. So…our reservation didn’t mean didly squat, but now somebody else’s does?! We moved out. The customer service has always sucked and we have had enough. There is a reason this UHaul on Court Street Pasco only has a 1.5 rating! No names on employee shirts so I cannot tell you the young lady who needs to be reprimanded. She is also VERY unfriendly at the counter and did not check us out properly. Told me they would walk back with us to make sure it was clean…but then did not. She never smiles or looks at customers in the eyes. More training and capable staff is required. Will never recommend this place or rent from them again.Kris M. | Overall Experience

After multiple phone calls to U Haul I was told I could drop off U Haul to a location that was near where I relocated. However, upon arrival I was told that was mis information. Had to deliver the U Haul to a different location. I was Already under enough stress, $351 later and hopeful that U Haul would have been more helpful as well as accommodating to their customers. When I arrived to pick up my reserved u haul, the person at Pasco u haul just sat in her chair looking at her phone and said sorry I can't help you. To which her manager replied to and said â€œI'm so sorry our power just went out, everything is downâ€ I called the uhaul 1-800 line and got in touch with a customer service person. Their only reply to my situation was â€œJesus Christ can I ask you to bring your phone to someone who works in the store? They aren't answering the work phoneâ€ so the customer service specialist helped me out. When I returned the reserved equipment, the parking lot was backed up almost to the main road. Walked inside to find about 6-8 customers waiting in line, the manager was on speaker phone with one of her employees and they were talking about why the employee didn't show up for their shift, or even call the manager to tell her she wouldn't be in for her shift. I.e no call no show, and the manager was TALKING ON SPEAKERPHONE ABOUT IT IN FROMT OF 6-8 CUSTOMERS, while also not helping them. Overall, an absolute laughable experience, this was the biggest joke of an establishment that I've ever spent my money on.Jacob K.

On the website, it tells you that the 10 FOOT TRUCK (which looks like an 8x8 box) will hold a studio or one bedroom apartment.... I literally could ONLY fit kitchen boxes, clothes and that was IT!!!! (I did not own that much kitchen & clothes) I WASTED SO MUCH MONEY ON THIS MOVE!!!!Aaron D.

My advice to other: "Avoid if you can". I had to wait 1+ hour inside just to get in a 10' cargo van that I had reserved online. The first car they let me get in was dead (would not start), and then they had me wait another 30-min just to re-assign the second vehicle that was standing right beside the first one. On the return of the car, they overcharged for 1 gl of fuel even though I had filled up over 2 gl and drove only 20 miles with the car. I only noticed the charge later, so be careful of their attempts to sneakily add extra charges. While inside, I noticed numerous customers find themselves without an available vehicle even though they claimed that they had reserved those vehicles online. It might be a U-Haul problem, rather than the store problem, and it didn't happen with me (luckily), but something to be careful of!Soumya K.
The inside of the trailer stunk like weed and they also gave me a trailer that had already been marked as one not to rent out because it had a nail in the tire. I didn't realize it had a nail in the tire until after it was loaded with my stuff and so it sat there for hours while I was on hold with road side assistance for hours to figure out how to get a new tire. This severely pushed back my time for moving in and was unable to move everything out of my storage unit resulting in me having to pay more money for my storage. All of this because I was given a uhaul trailer that employees already knew had a nail in the tire. I no longer have the help I had that day as well to move stuff out of my storage unit. I have rented from U-Haul two other times and had a great experience but this time it was far from it. The tow trailer's (auto transport) jack was broken and was told it would be fixed but it never was so I had to use it like that which made my move more difficult. I was never given the option of getting a new one even though there were an additional 5 trailers there when I went back to pick up the tow trailer. I also had to use up the gas in my 20' van on an extra trip back to the U-Haul location because the employee forgot to give me a receipt which I need for work. I then made another trip because she forgot to grab my utility dolly. I had even asked her while there if the dolly was part of my order and she said no. But when at a stop light l noticed on my reciept that I was charged for the utility dolly so I had to waste more of the U-Haul van's gas to drive back and get the dolly. Also while at my dropp-off location there was hardly any room to drive into the lot. I am thinking of going with another moving company after this experience.Juan R.

I had to come to this location after my original reservation was not filled because the trailer I requested was not at the location. When I arrived I waited in the lobby area for a few minutes when an employee came into the lobby, walked right past me without a greeting, dropped the box on the counter and then said with some tone I can help you over here. After going out to get the trailer it was dirty inside with leaves and other debris. I cleaned it out and was holding the garbage in my hand when the employee said your all hooked up and ready to go. Again, I am standing there with garbage in my hand from their trailer... It was only after I asked if there was a garbage can around that she offered to take the trash. I don't know what happened to U-Haul but from top to bottom the service is getting worse. Very disappointed by the whole process.Jason M.
We made an online reservation at a different store about a week in advance and received a confirmation number. That location did not have our trailer. That location didn't have any trailers at all. The online reservation system should not have even sent us there. I called the 800 number and they reserved us another one at a different location. That location didn't have one either, because the people didn't return it, which is not their fault. But they were supposed to call the people to get an ETA call us right back and we never heard from him again. Then we called the 1-800 number again and they were going to do the same thing, and we never heard from them again. We were pretty much left high and dry. From that point on, the 1-800 number was no help whatsoever, but this store, the Pasco store, put two people into trying to find us a trailer somewhere. They worked hard even though unsuccessful. We finally did get a trailer 2 days later by calling the 800 number and demanding to talk to a manager, who incidentally wasn't in until morning though he magically showed up on the phone after 10 minutes of us throwing a temper tantrum. Funny thing, he found us a trailer at the Pasco store for those two days later. We highly recommend the Pasco store, and in the future I would go directly to the store to make my reservation. Location was severely under-staffed for pick-up. Wait time was excessive, employees were speaking in a rushed monotone and not even making eye contact. From the customer standpoint it looks like you have a severe morale problem. Heavy damage to the skirt of the vehicle had not been documented (no doubt that is why my truck was a "local only" vehicle. Finally, at the time of return I got caught in a rare local rain shower and found no place to shelter from the cold rain while completing the cumbersome on-line return process. Overall this was my most frustrating U-haul experience in the last 20 years.MATTHEW K.

Your manager Yvette Rios made everything smooth as I dropped off my U-haul in, Pasco Wa., and provided me with storage. I was not impressed with my experience in Olympia. I had to go 60miles out of my way to get a trailor for my car. This involved un planned time. It may have been in writing by u-haul but was not communicated by the manager. It was difficult to get a hold of the manager there. She was not present or reacheable by her staff when I had a few issues to take care of. I will say Olympia has an excellent mechanic staff who stepped in to fix my trailor that was broken and figure out the problem so I did not lose my car on the way to Richland. A major part the winch to hold the car was put on backwards. You might want to see how long this part was upside down which could have had devastastng results. The manager was not at the store and I am not sure what they would have done for me if this could not be remedied. The manager and independant operator in Yelm helped me with the trailor and helped me as well to smooth out my overall experience with U-haul in Olympia. Overall my experience was even pretty good at both stores, but overall Yvette was excellent, perhaps she should be promote to a regional manager position. Thank you. The truck was in great mechanical shape and everthing was as smooth as could be when I arrived in Richland. Thank you. By the way the reason I dropped off in Pasco, was the store was open on Sunday and had storage available.
