I paid for 5 extra rental days in advance, but when I dropped the trailer off at destination after hours (Sunday) they charged me for 5 extra days, which I had already paid for in advance. When I requested a refund of this unauthorized charge I was told it would be refunded, but only $98 of a $138 charge was refunded.

location & service received was excellent. I do however have an issue that the trailer i requested online was not available. I was not made aware of this until it was to late to make alternative arrangements. In the end this made more work for us. I think i would have felt better if U-haul had of told me that it was unlikely i would get the trailer i requested earlier.

The drop off location was very accommodating - reimbursed me $10 that the front end said they could do no problem to compensate for the poor service at pick up - even though uhaul personnel on the phone didn't seem to want to do that. In other words, the drop off location was the only point in time where someone kept their word, and for that we were very appreciative.

Explain to them what they will need to for connections for lights not just hitch size.Maybe they could have adapters available on site so that the customer doesn't have to go out and purchase it last minute.
