This review is not specific to this location. I was originally supposed to rent from Smithers BC, and was called 15 hours before my scheduled pick up to advise that my rental was no longer available. I had booked months in advance as this was a significant move. I was told my options were to drive 4 hours one way to pick up the truck, or to wait two days (which was not an option with my moving timeline) , drive one hour each way to pick up the U-Haul and still they advised they could guarantee a U-Haul would be there. U-Haul blamed the people who had rented the truck before me, but I feel his could have been avoided with some common sense scheduling. No option presented to me was ideal for someone doing a long move with timelines. I was offered a discount, but it still seemed very small considering the inconvenience and unreliable service.

We had booked one two months early at a Uhaul in PG. two days before moving we find out there are no trucks in PG. if it hadn’t been for Norm Anderson, the Uhaul dealer in Hazelton where we were moving to we would have been in a very bad position. He found us the truck. The Uhaul dealer in PG was no help what so ever.
