The location did not have the size I ordered online. The associate created a new order and changed the drop off site by 200 miles which obviously increased the price. Then he claimed the price increase was due to Georgia taxes. When I explained that he had errantly altered the drop off site, he said, "Your husband signed it as I had it and it's a legal document. I can't make any changes. You'll have to call U-Haul headquarters." I made several calls and received call backs, but we were unable to connect. The associate called me back the next though and said he'd called U-Haul to try to get a refund for the extra mileage. That refund would post within 3-5 business days. As I'm responding to this within that window, I do not know if the transaction has yet occurred. It was unfortunate that the location did not have my ordered truck size, changed the ordered drop off site and seemed reticent to take responsibility for it, but the truck was in working order and clean.Diane C.
