Good experience overall
website (and this email) should properly refer to the real place for service and pickup which is a different address on Franklin Turnpike in Waldwick. The 25 W. Prospect address is not correct.

I did not ask for the insurance. I specifically refuse insurance. But end of the a rental I was billed for the insurance
Give the proper address. 25 W Prospect St is not the address of the rental site.
Just clarify the actual address where the rental can be picked up. The online ads provide 2 different locations about a 1/2 mile apart.
My actual charges were more than 1/3rd higher than my rental fee, with no explanation provided on the bill or contract. I'd suggest either start explaining your charges or stop stealing. Tough to ever use or recommend U Haul given that experience. Also, regarding this location, their attendant doesn't wear a mask, so appears to have no regard for the health of the customer.
The location was NOT the problem. UHAUL is the problem. When 1st scheduled that location was changed. Then when we went to pick it up we were told the location was yet again changed, only we were never notified. The man at the station called "traffic", they admitted that they did not call me , and the man questioned how that was possible. The people at traffic DID NOT CARE !! Thankfully the man at the gas station told them he was going to do what he needed to to give me the one truck that was there (and spoken for ). I could hear the person on the phone arguing against it. This is not the first time UHAUL has screwed me in this exact way. Your communcaiton is HORRIBLE !!!! Your traffic department is PATHETIC. It is there fault and they admitted they did not reach out. How can you change a reservation and not notify the customer. It is really sad. It is a good thing the man at the station had common sense, because I was not leaving without a truck and things WOULD HAVE gotten out of control.
Excellent customer service. Truck was impeccably maintained. Will be our go to location for all future U-Haul rentals.

The check in and check out process was a bit awkward but the staff were very helpful. I was lead to believe the tank was almost full by the gauge. Instructions were to fill it up. I only drive 20 miles so guessed I would only need about 2 gallons. It look 5 gallons. Nasty surprise for me. Please make sure the vehicle is actually full when you let it out. If I ever go there again I am going to make them fill it.

I don't know if these two locations are connected- and I would recommend the Uhaul located on Franklin Trnpk, in Waldwick. This is a wonderful place. I've rented twice from Ken at the Citgo location. He is very welcoming and explains all you need to know about the truck you're renting thoroughly. Thank you, kindly'!

Great experience.
I would say no improvement is necessary. The van I rented was clean, fueled and ready to go when I arrived. Ken gave me a very thorough "preflight" so that I knew all the basic operating instructions...including which side the fuel filler was on. He had me on the road in five minutes! The van ran well and held everything I needed. When I brought it back, Ken helped me refuel it and got it turned around for its next customer in just moments. I suspect he sees a lot of happy customers.
No improvements needed. The manager wad friendly, helpful and explained all the features of the vehicle. Check in and drop off were simple.

I am still waiting an answer to my query about the invoice - I was charged for gas - even though I refilled the tank to the original level - and would like an amended invoice - good van - not so good business practices .

Your policy of reserving additional credit on my credit card is unacceptable.....my acct still shows (2) pending charges, one for an "estimate" of $56.50, then the actual one of $53 and change.....how dare you tie up my available credit? The rep at the gas station in Waldwick should have told me that policy.......it was contract # 90996083........Rick Santry

Not a thing, the experience was easy and the owner a delight. Having the rental business coupled with a gas/ service station is the way to go it saved me having to look for a gas station to fill the vehicle.
