It took 30 min to check in, I didn't receive conteact paperwork and was overcharged when we returned. My main issue though, was the truck steering was so loose that we it was terrifying to drive at higher speeds. We returned the truck much earlier than needed and asap. The owner refunded the dolly cart charge we didn't rent. Nothing else on the gas overcharge or esp. the truck safety. The Uhaul website pointed me to this location. Beware.NOAH A.

This guy is a scam artist. He charged me for insurance even though I declined it. Left two different voice mails and never got a call back. Can't email him as the link doesn't even work. He's never there at the facility so I couldn't see him face to face. Incredibly unprofessional, will never use this facility again or any U-Haul provider.SCOTT L.

In the initial estimate, only amounts that were presented were $19.95 rental charge and CDW of $20. Ofcourse, I assumed tax. Cleaning charge of $25 - why wasn't that included in the initial estimate?Preeth K.

The u-haul app wasn't working. I think there's an issue with internet in this area. So after many multiple frustrating attempts I finally was able to rent it 30 minutes later. Then the guy left because he figured we were late and had other responsibilities to attend to. Not a good experience. He was nice enough to update our time to 1p.CHLOE R.

I dropped it off outside of regular hours so I didn't have an opportunity to meet with any personnel. I did call the office 2 times before the move to ask a question about the drop off. The rate for my van was apparently 89.00/day and no one said anything about that. I was under the impression that it was 20$, like it says on the truck. I cannot stress enough that NO ONE said "the rate is 89.00$ a day." Antonio, who signed me up, was very nice. But AGAIN. No one told me the ACTUAL PRICE of the service I was buying.TRESHAIN H.
The guys who helped me out at Watson and Taylor were great! They were very friendly and helpful. They even worked with me to modify my reservation to a larger truck last minute. I would 1000% recommend them and I will only be using them for any austin truck rental needs!Stephanie B.

When I returned the truck I had asked why I was being charged a higher amount than was on the website and Antonio assured me he would correct my bill and credit the difference.... guess what-wasn't done! He also said they had a 10 foot truck for me to rent so I went right to the location and in the 15 min it took me to get there he said that one had been rented... but it was still in the lot-even when we returned from our short trip...deol J.

The employee lost the office keys, resulting in an hour and a half delay of my picking up the truck I reserved. This delay altered the entire moving day schedule. Without the delay, all trips would have been made on moving day. Instead, trip 3 was on the following morning. I was also told not to drop off the truck at the scheduled drop off location. I was told to return the truck to the original location. All these delays, caused by an employee and the alteration of the drop off location, resulted in the truck being turned in 30 minutes late. Noe, it appears I am being charged for additional days. I should not be held responsible for an employee's mistake.JESSICA D.

My review applies to this location only:- I chose the U - haul self service and when I couldn't find the truck I went inside the office and I met the two most arrogant guys of my life. The first answer they gave me is there is no truck and the truck number I was showing is rented already. Later when they agreed to give me a different truck and were taking my details they literally yelled at me 2-3 times like this : 1st â€”- I asked them to repeat- he put the pen on the table and took both hands above his shoulder and yelled â€œI am asking for an alternate name and phone numberâ€. 2ndâ€”-This is the second person in the office(the one who is darker skin tone and taller between the two). Now this guy stood up and literally was ready to fight physically until I turned and looked the opposite way and gave a gesture that I don't want to talk to him and will only talk to the other guy(Otherwise he was coming closer). He went back and sat on this chair. It was very difficult for me to realize that this was happening to me for real. The only solution to this is to never go to this location again.Akhil M.

When dropping off the vehicle I wish I would have noticed I had to take multiple pics. I dropped the keys in the box then went to the app to complete. So I didn't get actual mileage and other pics needed.Von H.

Uhaul kept changing my pickup and drop off locations, so I had to travel out of my way to pick up and drop off. This particular location has very limited parking. I specifically chose another location because I was pulling a trailer and needed to park the truck and trailer to pick up a truck.Joann W.

Not really the fault of the local company whose business we picked the truck from but Wtf U-haul?!?! Since when does a reservation mean you will not have a truck available for me at the location I selected weeks ago?!? I was told in order to get a truck I would have to drive all the way to the North Lamar location even though I reserved at the Ben White Location. This ended up with us sitting in traffic and throwing off our schedule completely. It made moving more difficult for usDevin H.
The contract I signed for a rental stipulated a rental rate and mileage rate which were much less than what your company charged to my card without authorization. The charges are fraudulent. The manager at this facility lied multiple times to me & is also rude. The off-site manager I contacted was also not helpful, made excuses and told me that I needed to contact someone with uhaul if i had any billing questions. She did not listen. I am filing a formal complaint regarding this theft.Jasmine B.
