The sales clerk at the facility did not know what to do and how to check me in. I did the online check in to "save time" still took 45 min to pick up the vehicle. The vehicle was dirty, the steering wheel was sticky, and there was a homeless man in the back of the truck that I had to force out. Very unprofessional service and I will not be returning.Sonni S.
Cashier told me that despite our reservation confirmation there was no one with credentials present to help us but she would try. This is right before closing, so at that point it was time critical. We waited around for a while as she tinkered with the computer and finally got us our vehicle after a bunch of back and forth, re-upload of our license, QR code scanning, etc. Probably would have been more positive to just do the checkout online. Location is also an aging laundromat and didn't make a good first impression.Christian G.

Only concern was that location does not lock trailers when I inspected inside of trailer there was left over drug paraphernalia where somebody had been shooting up drugs in trailer. Inside of trailer smelled as if somebody had been sleeping in it.duane H.

The drop box is on a post opposite the entry door and only visible when you are leaving the facility. When renting the truck, no instructions or discussions on where to drop off the keys. Returned the truck and did not know where to leave the keys. Had to make a special trip to drop the keys. Also, just including insurance without asking or discussing is not right.DAYA B.

It was a frustrating process - it was difficult to open the padlock for the key. The truck was dirty but the app only allowed ONE photo to be uploaded to show this. When I reported the truck dirty at checkout, the app added a "cleaning fee" without alerting me first. I was forced to find someone to check me out to avoid this. Employees were helpful and were quick to offer assistance, though. So, that is a positive. The U-Haul of Duwamish has been a better experience for me.NOLITA R.
Attend and was very willing to help, courteous, attentive, friendly but apparently inexperienced or not trained appropriately. There was a las minute change for dropping location and it was no short of a nightmare! Worst part was the lack of help and absolute rudeness every time a called to the Spokane location to assist me with the drop off location adjustment. When we arrived to pick up the trailer we were charged for a 3 day rental. We originally rented it for 2 days (48 hours) but told them we could be done after one day and return it early. He told us they weren't going to be open the day we wanted to return it and then said that they would be open but closing early and he didn't know what time exactly they would be closing. We decided to keep the trailer for the 2 days that we reserved it for and when my wife arrived to return the trailer no one was around. The laundromat this Uhaul company is based out of was open and customers were washing clothes but nobody was around to answer phones or questions or check in our trailer rental! My wife called the contact number several times as did I, and the phone just rang at the front counter with nobody to answer it. We left a note and took pictures of ourselves unhooking the trailer and leaving it in an empty spot with no way to secure it! My wife was there for 37 minutes and nobody was around to help her the entire time she was there! We have many Uhaul locations near us and we will never book from this location again nor will we recommend it to anyone we know!!!William J.

The place is a laundromat, and evidently handles Uhaul reservations too. The gal who helped me was very friendly, helpful and patient and took care of me without me having to wait. But this being a laundromat isn't the best business location to handle U-haul reservations as they have a busy business that is sometimes not staffed enough to help both business simultaneously. The parking lot is also sketchy - being located a ways away from the business so they can't see the trucks. I didn't feel confident leaving my truck with my rented furniture pads and a hand truck in the back (unlocked) AND having just fueled the truck, was concerned about fuel theft since you can just open the tank without a key. I wouldn't use this location again. But I will say the gal who took care of me at reservation check-in was great.Sandra H.
This is by far the worst Uhaul location I have ever dealt with, and I have used Uhaul many times. The location is a dingy laundromat. The woman at the counter was slow and inefficient--it took 20+ minutes to get through the two simple transactions ahead of me. Upon return, the counter was unattended and their phone disconnected after giving a busy signal. I spent a while on the phone with the regional Uhaul, only to eventually have her open a back closet-looking door and say she's on break (I had been there 20 min with no indications of anyone being present). I tossed the keys across the counter and left. 4 hours later I received a call from the owner wondering why I hadn't returned the truck--apparently she hadn't bothered checking it in whenever her break ended.GREGORY H.

My reservation was switched to this location. A much further drive. The clerk wasn't sure how to handle the reservation. took too long to process the order. She also hooked-up the trailer incorrectly. I didn't notice until I got home. Luckily, nothing happened. She was very nice though.Jason I.

This operation is a laundromat and doesn't know a whole lot about uhaul. The guy who tried to connect the trailer to my truck didn't know how to do it properly. And didn't know much about the process of returning the uhaul. Upon returning the trailer the lady said she would do the paperwork and receive it but that didn't happen. I received several. Calls and a email from uhaul stating I never returned the equipment and it was overdue. After talking to customer service I was told they would â€œfigure it outâ€ and call me back. The next day the location called me and asked if I returned the trailer (which is currently in their parking lot chained to the rest) about a half hour later I received an email with receipt of return.Antonio B.

The reservation that I made was changed by UHaul from a different pickup to this location. The drop off location was also changed without my conscent. This location said I could drop the trailer off anywhere, but didn't say that it would cost extra. In the future, a change of pick up or drop off done by UHaul should require verbal notification to the customer.BRYAN F.

The lady was polite and helpful...yet prior to drop off i talked to a national 24 hrs rep that gave me inaccurate info of this location and it being 24hrs with a 24 hr dropbox..yet this turned out to be not true..parking was not well lite,and this location has a high crime rate..my best suggestion is to have a 24 hr drop box, make sure the drop off is well.. lighted and to clean all trash and debri out of parking lot...other than that the lady was very helpfulWilton B.

Location is pretty shady area. Need more parking lot lighting for early morning pickup. U haul truck smelt like cigaraettes and was pretty dirty. Did not seem to be cleaned at all. Also we paid to rent moving blankets and did not recieve any and was still charged.Jaimy D.

It is one of the worst places that Uhaul have. I rented a utility trailer and returned same day. I got charged for 5 days. I meant this is ridiculous and no one answering the phone I have course U-Haul customer service they try to get a hold of them and Ethan no one answered the phone. I had a very unpleasant and slightly sketchy experience. I chose the self pickup option to try to limit exposure to people. The process was going fine until it came time to pickup the keys. The office location was inside a laundromat and was not well signed. Then the person decided they needed a copy of my ID after I submitted it in the portal. They used two different cell phones to take the photos. Then they asked for my credit card. I explained that I already paid in the portal. They then refunded my money in the portal and charged it again in person. I was very upset and frustrated as this seemed not very secure. Let them know its an in town rental only. Was not told that and told the lady was traveling 40 miles and she put what mileage she wanted. If I knew I was going to be charged an extra $250 for not returning it back to that location, I would of returned it there the next morning for way less of a charge. Pissed off!RODNEY A.

Poor rating based on the location and the Appointment Setup Team. I rented a truck and car dolly; was told by the Appointment Setup Team that my truck would need be picked up at a different location than the trailer. So I go to where they said the tuck would be and they didn't have my reservation. Ended up being with the trailer across town, which was fine at the time. So I go to the second location and they weren't scheduled to open until 11am, which means it would be 4 hours after I was supposed to get it. Then I wait in a 45-min line as the place was an Authorized Dealer, which meant is was also a Dry Cleaners. I thought well this sucks, but what really made it worse was after she helped me and I was provided my Renter Agreement, she said she would meet me out in the lot to check the truck and trailer out to me. So the clock was running as I already got my rental agreement and I wait another 40-min for her to help every single Dryer Cleaning customer in line before I can even pull the truck and trailer off the lot. Last time I use UHaul... I paid the movers for hours of just sitting on their butts because of UHaul and their business practices. Not a great experience and they clearly have no concern on how their Appontment Setup Team or Authorized Dealers do business.derrick G.

It was not clear at all in checkout process that it was only a pickup via smart phone. I rented this truck for one of my employees and flew him to Seattle to pick it up and drive back. We spent way too much time on the phone with a uhaul rep trying to figure out he would be able to get in the truck. He arrived at 11am and nobody was at the facility to help him. I spoke to a uhaul rep and she took my money to pay in full and said he'd need to wait until 2:30 when someone would arrive. I had to call again at 4 because nobody arrived and was told he just needed to create an account which he did but couldn't transfer the order to his name. Some finally arrived at 4:30 but said he normally doesn't work this day (or really anyone) and just happened to stop in. We're extremely disappointed our employee had to wait 5+ hours. Not sure we can trust uhaul in the future.JUAN C.
Terrible service! I spent almost half an hour waiting for the front desk person to return the truck keys. In addition, I was charged $212.70 for 4 hours and 40 miles though the truck was completely fueled before drop off. The location lot was filthy. The truck I reserved was not available, and the one that I got instead wasn't covered and my furniture got wet when it started to rain. I was told that since it was only 20 hours prior that I made a reservation, not 24 I wasn't eligible for any kind of credit or reimbursement due to not having the truck I had reserved. The trailer I reserved was not there. I had tp settle for an open trailer. Thankfully it was a decent day. I drove 140 miles to pick it up, someone should have notified me that there was no trailer. And to top it off, no concessions or discounts were offered. I can say that the lady working at the site was pleasant and apologetic. Very difficult company to work with.CHUCK H.
Really poor service. Not only was the person 15 minutes late I didn't get the uhaul truck size I reserved. On top of that, they did not honor the reservation guarantee policy that uhaul had. I feel like I got scammed. On the site the policy states â€˜Should U-Haul, through its fault, fail to contact customer the day prior and be unable to meet preferred time, place or size, then the $50 Reservation Guarantee will be paid and U-Haul will still attempt to fill the reservation.' I was NEVER contacted about the change in size and only found out the day of, but I didn't get a refund.Erica H.
Hello, Getting the truck was a bit of a problem due to having a date to pick up then called to say the truck never came back. Or having the date to get truck then a cal saying someone else already has the truck. When i pick the truck up. It is the wrong size which they had put me down for. Extremely disorganized, it took about an hour from my reservation time to receive my keys as the guy working at the front desk was MIA, and then could not locate my reservation. The drop box is located 200 yards away from the parking lot and is nearly impossible to find. I had also reserved a dolly and it was not with the vehicle, and then was charged for it missing. Charged a cleaning fee for absolutely no cleaning needed as I only transported boxes. Please note: you have to grab your keys from the front desk person who leaves at 6 pm, and his after hours employee has to be tracked down around the parking lot. He was also calling his manager for about 30 min in front of me to confirm my reservation.Candice R.

The 26' truck I reserved weeks in advance was not ready at the scheduled time. I was told it would be ready 4 hours after my reservation time, it was not. The agents found me a shorter 20' truck at another location 5 hours after my scheduled time. The agents said they would give me a discount because I would now need to make 2 trips instead of one. I was charged full price for my rental, I will never use Uhaul again and will refer friends and family to another company.MARC K.

The guy lost the keys to the truck I reserved. Charged me for the truck. Said he refunded me but I haven't seen it refund yet. He got me a replacement truck; however, he told me that instead of the one-way trip I reserved he informed me that if I wanted the truck I was required to bring it back to this store. Upon return, he then charged me for the extra gas and mileage from the extra 40 mile trip that I didn't want to take. I reserved a one-way with a drop off at my destination. He also charged me 132 for the first truck, the one he lost the keys to, but when he charged me for the second truck it was 135. It also took him an hour to get the new truck and I had movers waiting. So all around I got screwed. Still waiting for that refund on the first truck tooJoseph F.
