I have used storage many times in the past. I am glad to have gotten this storage unit 6/29/23. It was convenient for me and the staff there is wonderful. The area is not secured. The unit was clean, but I am glad to have put cardboard down on the floor when I moved in. Weather like rain can leak in a little from the front. I was not prepared when the mobile check-in asked me to provide an alternate method of identification, such as an alternative phone number, passport, or lease. Having the info ahead of time would have allowed me to prepare. Also, there was an important change to the mileage on the van that I needed to make but the mobile site wouldn't allow me to do so, which result in me being overcharged. AND I was informed after already picking up the vehicle that I had to drop it off at a different and much farther location than where I picked it up from, which was extremely inconvenient.Stella S.
Previous and unrepaired damage to the upper front corners of "Moms Attic" snagged an overhead dog run wire across our drive causing extensive damage which of course is not covered by insurance. Despite my choice of 2 pickup sites, both within approx. 5 miles of my home I had to travel 78 miles round trip. one of my pickup choices that I passed twice on the way had 3 trucks avail. 2 of which were 15 footers.Stephen F.

I was very disappointed and how long it took to rent a truck I was there 43 minutes minutes with problems trying to get a key and wait waiting for approval approval it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever dealt with with with you . And then return was also hard so hard they had to do it where I returned it cause you wouldn't not accept the picture I also didn't have my hand truck so I had to move without without that most horrible experience with you bubble experience with u-haulLaura C.

I only needed the truck for one day but had to pay for two days. In my feeling I got overcharged the one extra day so probably will look for another rental if possible if available uhaul is a great place to rent but its not right I got charged for two days and only wanted one.Anthony? T.

Had trouble with the 24/7 drop box, because of having to use a uhaul web site to complete the trip information, as the return location was closed (they closed at 4 pm on Friday, the first day of a holiday weekend. When i tried to do that on my phone it refused to recognize my password even after getting a confirmation code on the phone that I tried twice. Finally had to call U-haul. after a long wait on the main number, we finally reached a very nice lady, Ariane, who was able to help us and get the transaction complete so we could drop off the truck. She sent us a copy of the initial contract by email, but neither my computer nor phone can read it to print it, as it was in an unknown file format. The u-haul employees were all very helpful, but your processes need to WORK. U-haul needs to desperately update their computer system to current standards and use normal file formats for printing contracts, such as word, excel or Adobe and NOT a .png format which is ancient computer history and provide updated tools, such as working printers, to their franchisees.. Noting this, your employees or franchisees that we spoke with were very nice and helpful, especially at TIlton, NH, which also had needed supplies. The truck was fine and we received the supplies needed to do the job, but U-Haul PLEASE update your computer systems! .katherine C.

The Web interface does NOT work in Erving. I had GPS on phone, but your software cannot function at this location. The owner said this happens all the time, he was extremely helpful. No problems with rental or truck, just web stuff not working!!!Philip J.

We called U-Haul for a location to drop off after hours and were given this location as I was playing telephone tag with location U-Haul had given me. We dropped it off in the parking lot as was told and when I called today the man said it wasn't there. He finally agreed to walk outside and look and it was there. I would never leave equipment after hours again! And the gentleman should have checked all equipment first since he has a very small location! I would absolutely not use that location again!!! And when I called customer service to say I had asked for the Erving or Athol locations I was told they were both full so they routed me to a further out of the way location. BUT when I called back later due to the telephone tag I'd played with that location I was given the original location- so they either were no longer full ( however same number of vehicles were at that location earlier in the day when I drove by) or the representative in the region just didn't want us to change the location they gave us- this experience has totally tainted me to U-Haul and I wouldn't recommend!!!Barbara S.

Let them know there is no tongue jack on your trailers. Luckily I came prepared with a scissors jack; otherwise I would not have been able to attach the trailer to my hitch!Garrick D.
I returned the cargo trailer at night and the area was not lighted so I was glad that I had a flashlight to disconnect the trailer. I'd recommend the facility install a floodlight that is either on all of the time or has a motion sensor.Robert F.

I was disappointed with the scheduling dept they told me there was NO equipment locally for a 5 hour rental when I was done with my equipment and returned it,I found out there was one with in 10 miles of my zip that was there for a week and is still there 48 hour so far after,from now on I will call all the local ones 1st not the 800 linealex M.

This location worked with me well. If it weren't for them, I would have had a large complaint against the company. I had reserved a 26ft truck in Greenfield MA and was called less than 24 hrs before moving day with the 'closest' similar truck being a 20ft in Northampton MA. I cancelled knowing that the cost for mileage would have tripled had I kept that option. No offer to work with me or any positive customer service skills. Very disappointed with service done through on line reserve. Erving location was wonderful to work with, however, I will not recommend nor speak well of the company again, unfortunately.LAURA C.
1. Put up a sign so customers know U-Haul office is inside the bowling alley. 2. U-Haul office in Athol MA confirmed on Oct 16 that my desired trailer was available. I reserved trailer with my credit card. On Oct 20, there was NO trailer. I had to drive 35 miles to retrieve trailer from alternate location. VERY DISAPPOINTINGrobert C.
