I had such a hard time to book and pick up the truck. The app didn't work well. I was waiting for 1 hr on Sunday morning in the location to get the access code for the lock box to get the key. Also I called four times to finalize my reservation and each time probably 20 min on the phone to make sure my reservation is correct. Unfortunately, I am not happy at all with my recent Uhaul rent. Uhaul also changed the location of pick up so I spent $26 Uber to take me there.Yousef S.
I asked and paid for furniture pads and was not given any. The truck was very dirty on the inside and outside. I needed help when booking online so I called the customer server. The lady I spoke with was extremely rude, unprofessional and no help at all. She also laughed at me and tried to make me feel stupid for my question. This will be my last time I ever use Uhaul again and I will make sure I tell everyone about my experience.Jason R.
Web app is unbearable and does not handle photos properly. Spent 1.5 hours repeatedly trying to upload driver's license photos and the app constantly showing the loading screen, only to fail. Same experience when returning the vehicle and trying to take photos of the odometer: the site does not detect when photo is taken. While trying to upload photos I was also on hold on the customer service phone line, again close to 1 hr. Strangely, the website started working just as my call was finally picked up. I am a web developer and it is clear to me this service is not properly developed and tested. I tried multiple browsers and settings. I will never again pickup a vehicle at an unstaffed location.Jenny L.

MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE WHAT THE CUSTOMER IS PAYING FOR. No dolly was given with truck making move much harder than it needed to be. And location of pick up was changed last minute making pick a huge inconvenience.David B.

The rental location person was not there when we arrived. Had to wait 15 minutes in 20 degree weather. The truck had not been checked since the last rental. I had frozen snow/ice on the windshield about 3 inches deep. There was no snow brush provided. The rental person said Uhaul doesn't supply them which is pathetic since even a cheap snowbrush would probably cost $0.50 when bought wholesale in quantity. The rental person gave me a broom to help but still took about 10 minutes to clean off using truck heater. The truck had not been cleaned - it still had cups and napkins in it. It was also given to me with only half a tank of gas even though the contract I signed said it was full. I also pre-ordered 12 packing blankets. They were not there, I had to go to another location to pick them up. Last, the rolling door on the back stuck badly when rolled up the first 12 inches or so and took a hard as hell yank on it to keep it moving up (or down). Last, the right front tire went soft twice. I filled it once and gave it back with a soft tire. This was a crappy Uhaul experience. I was given no rental cost deduction for my hassles for this lousy rental experience. Uhaul puts profit ahead of customer satisfaction. I'm glad there are alternatives.Jerry G.

Add more agents. To be available. I experienced excessive time loss from a project. I calculated 10am pickup. 1030am driving to 401. Over an 1 1/2 hr delay with U-Haul. From waiting on representative on call. Rear of truck was locked. I asked for code, it took a long time. Finally service representative came out and removed the lock. I was on the 401 with traffic from Oakville past Mississauga! I really enjoy having U-Haul. Everyone has challenging times. That was mine. Cheers; Muhamed MemedovskiMuhamed M.

There was no one there so I dropped the key in the box. Did not know I had to take pictures and upload to site but put the gas to 3/4 tank and dropped off the key as requested at the appropriate drop off site.Debie S.

I had originally booked at another location in Hamilton but was called an hour after I booked to go to the Bay street location. When I arrived at the location, the store was closed and there was no indication as to how to obtain the truck. After trying to call Uhaul several times, I finally was informed there was a lockbox involved and this was not indicated anywhere in the booking. They finally texted the code after this ordeal but all of this resulted in using the truck half hour after the booking. Once we were done with the truck and we returned it, the price of the truck rental was even higher than the one we had booked a couple weeks earlier - and the truck at that time was bigger and was used for a longer amount of time. I have since emailed to question why it was so expensive and no one has responded to me. I will never use this service again in the Hamilton.Sarah M.
