Customer service was horrible. The location of the key box directions was wrong. The hand truck that I paid for was not there. Low lighting in pick up area. 1*

Tina Qlocation was fine. when i called to inquire about a vehicle, man on phone said they did not have it - i checked online and the vehicle i wanted was available and ready to rent there. vehicle was clean and pick-up/drop-off went smoothly. customer service was not overtly friendly, but got the job done. a decent location if you know what you want and reserve it online ahead of time.

Tawana WThe truck had no air conditioning and there was a whole fleet of others we could have used that weren’t given to us. Very disappointing and will not be returning back to using U-Haul. I want my money back. This happened with the last truck we had to. Nothing was done.
Taylor BI ordered an appliance dolly with my truck, after checking the truck I saw there wasn’t one. The person working didn’t make me aware of this, but he was aware when I came back inside that there wasn’t one in there. He just said oh yeah we don’t have that, “just use a regular dolly” he said. I made him aware it wasn’t safe to use that to move a refrigerator, he stared at me until I looked away. He wouldn’t give me a number to call other U-Hauls to get one, he said he didn’t know any numbers. He said I could cancel the truck since it wasn’t any good to me considering I was moving a refrigerator, but he said he’d still have charge for it. I had to call myself to find one and then use the truck and add miles to get one and return it to another center. The worker never looked over the truck with me. I went to Mundy Street location to get the dolly, I worked with Corey there, he was MORE than helpful, he understood my frustration and went above and beyond to help me. I wish I had ordered the truck from this location. I spoke to someone in customer service on Sunday to see if I could get the charges of driving to another location or anything removed from my bill, considering this took 2 hours of my rental time to figure out, and she was supposed to get back to me on 06-26-2023 but she hasn’t as of yet. She told me to email her which I did do, but haven’t heard back.

Amaurys LClerk was nasty, farting while with customers, rude and unprofessional. The moving truck was dirty in and out. The location was hidden behind a warehouse, and signs were not clearly marked on where to go. The location has the same addresses as 4 other business, and you have to guess which one might be Uhaul, before driving to the rear of the building and trying to locate a tiny sign under a loading dock. Overall terrible experience here, never again!

Jaylen DWhen I placed my order, I made certain the pickup location and dropoff location were correct. However, the night before I returned the truck I verified my return location only to see that U-Haul changed my dropoff location to the pickup location--ONE THOUSAND MILES AWAY. Good thing I kept records of EVERYTHING. Take photos and videos before and after you drop off the truck, too, because you never know what might happen. Also, the lock on the back of the truck was broken so I had to buy my own in order to secure my things. Major annoyance and inconvenience. Also, the tie-down for the appliance dolly [which I rented] was also broken so I had to secure it with a wrench handle to keep it from rolling around loose while driving. Another annoyance and inconvenience. A few days before pickup, I confirmed the appliance dolly and moving blankets would be in stock [because previously I'd ordered things and they weren't in stock on moving day]. Overall good experience. No frills.

Kolina KMice were a big issue. My storage unit was destroyed by mice and filled with mice feces. Trash was left everywhere around the facility. Staff was very nice, though.

Dez NI was told by the person on the phone when making my reservation, that UHAUL was going to give me an additional 75-100 miles free form my trip and it was never given to me.
dean mThe key was not available in the lock box, therefore I'd recommend another confirmation point prior to advising rental is ready. This delayed our move 90 min until someone showed at the office... very frustrating start to our move day!

John JMy experience started out terrible. I reserved a truck online at 1091 Wilkes Barre Twp Blvd PA. When I arrived at the store, the girl insisted I needed a truck number before she could release the truck to me. After calling the 800# she provided, and 30 minutes in the store, I left without the truck. I then drove to the Mundy St location in Wilkes Barre PA. The girl Ashley apologized for the experience I had at 1091, and did her best to get me a truck. Although the did not have one at her location, she transferred me to the Pennsylvania Blvd location. Upon arrival, I was treated in a friendly , helpful and professional manner. The guy explained that he doesn’t understand why the original location insisted on me providing a truck # , informed me that customers would never receive that information with their reservation. After a horrible start to my experience, it turned out being a great experience thanks to the knowledge and friendly employees at Mundy St and Pennsylvania Blvd locations in Wilkes Barre PA. As for the 1091 Wilkes Barre Twp Blvd location, you may want to think about terming your contract with them. They were rude and unhelpful and just left me leaving with no truck and very annoyed
