Send a text when my preference is set for text that I have to go to a new location rather than the original. I had to wait and have the store worker call to confirm I was there for the uHaul because I had shown up after 12, since I arrived at the first location at 12 and found out I had to go somewhere else. Updating my reservation to say the location was moved rather than just a different store name would have helped too. It caused a lot of confusion for me and for the store worker when I finally arrived at Willingham. Not very cool of you, Uhaul. :(Josh B.

I did the online check in ahead of time but the Pickup My Truck option was not available on my uhaul online account when I arrived. No one at the store knew about the rental but we're eventually able to locate the keys. The appliance dolly and moving pads that I ordered were not in the truck. This read the third location that I was routed to to pick up the truck.DAVID S.

When we got the truck it was 3/4 of the way full with fuel and when we returned it it was 1/2 full. We did not have time to put fuel in it due to my husband going over seas. We got charged for 17 gallons of fuel that we did not use. I have been trying to contact uhaul regarding this issue and they will not return my calls and the area manager Josh will not answer or call me back. I am very displeased and plan to let everyone know it.Luke S.

Charged insurance without asking, didn't give me copy of contract, or tell me everything I had to do. Caused me alot of time and unexpected trouble. First off, make the return process less complicated. If you got the keys to the vehicle and the vehicle is there. Let that all there has to be to return. Make the sub contractor do the return work. Not the customer. Make sure it's always got gas and not a half or 3/4 tank. Don't let a customer wait 30 minutes to talk to a rep. Get cheaper or just get rid of it the mileage charge because the customer has to pay for gas and the rental. That's crazy. " I'm gonna charge to rent my truck, and charge you how far you drive if, and make you pay for gas!" Great customer service there. (Sarcasm). Let the customer know if they're covered if theyre in an accident. I paid $86 to rent a 15' truck one day to move my home 9 miles. That is crazy. Plus 20 in gas. $106 to move a family of 4, 9 miles. I need my $14 back y'all charged without asking. I like the rent a moving truck idea. But seriously this sucks. And it was my first time using uhaul.... Not satisfied. Y'all wanted to know how you can improve. This is how you can. Make it AFFORDABLE.... LESS COMPLICATED RETURNS! DONT CHARGE ME FOR INSURANCE WITHOUT ASKING. STOP CHARGING FOR MILEAGE OR REDUCE IT! $1 A MILE ADDS UP! DONT MAKE A CUSTOMER (ME) WAIT 30 MINUTES TO TALK TO SOMEONE!Anthony A.

their system wasnt working so they had to call somebody else to do everything for them, they were not knowledgeable of anything meaning every question i asked they had to ask somebody else over the phone. They also lied and told me that the extra 100 i was charged due to having a prepaid card would be given back to me as soon as i turned in the uhaul and that i could choose it to b cash or back on a card. The store itself was cluttery and not welcoming.Daneisha W.
