Our truck was given to someone else, then the employees called and texted me multiple times asking for my card information thinking I was the person they gave the truck to. I returned the call three times with no answer and the recording said they do not actively monitor the phones. They called me back and realized they needed to call the other people.

Lynn SIf I book a U-Haul reservation online at a specific location, and U-Haul calls me the next day to tell me that my truck is not available at that location and I am required to pick up my U-Haul from a different location, that is further away from my intended route, U-Haul should not charge me for the additional miles I have to drive because they did not have the equipment available at the location I booked.

Jessica KLocation was not even on the app. I initially went to another location that isn’t even operating. My reservation was for 24 hours. I returned truck not even 12 hours after picking it up. They check it in late and charge me a bunch of late fees. All around, just a terrible experience with U-haul. I will never use them again.

Jerrod FMy first drop off location didn't exist any more. When I called U-Haul customer service, they told me not to go to Wise Moving and Storage across the street. They told me to drive the trailer another 20 minutes to an official Uhaul facility. I followed their suggestion and found out that the official Uhaul facility didn't even rent or take trailers. They were a storage facility. I ended up having to drive 20 minutes back to Wise Moving and Storage who were very helpful.
Brandon Dthat truck had steering that was outright dangerous. It is so loose it drifts big time with a slight bump in the road. The shocks are completely shot. It has ZERO shocks. Not good for moving. Very rough and wild ride. The back latch got stuck when you rolled the door up. I realize those things take alot of use but the one we got needs to be fixed or sent to the junkyard.
KEVIN RI had a reservation to pick up the trailer at a location near my home. when I arrived there was not trailer for me to rent. I never got a call informing me there would be no trailer. The closest trailer was 45 minutes away. I had to make that drive, do the pick up, then drive home. It put me very behind loading for my trip. Communication could have been much better.
Allan AGreat experience, but that total mileage cost about killed me! I only had the vehicle for two hours, and I only drove to one place, one time.
Markeeda RI am a moving company, and have been using uhaul since 2014. In that 12 years I have used uhaul probably over 2000 times. This particular incident, set me back 2.5 hours that day. I had 4 moves scheduled and had to cancel my last moves of that day because my truck was not ready for me when I went to go pick it up way before they opened. I arrived at 730 a.m. and couldn't leave until after they opened at 9. I believe my official leave time way 910. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. My 4th move was so upset with me, even when I explained it was out of my control. I lost a customer for life.

Petra JTo begin the location of the lockbox is not well identified, I walked to the back of the lot and back having found it on the front of the building. Secondly the truck had two bags of clothing from the previous renter in the back. I know I was asked to take photos of the inside when I returned the truck so I'm not sure how this was not addressed prior to renting it back out.
