Picked up a trailer and 15’ truck within a few days of each other. No issues with the trailer the 2nd trip. First attempt. Their systems were down and could not complete contract. Had to find another trailer place (SunBelt) 2nd attempt. All went smoothly. 15’ truck. Truck was ready. Kinda low on fuel at 1/4 tank. Truck was fairly clean but the cab smelled bad of cigarettes Even with windows down still the smell barely tolerable. Overall truck experience was okay. Upon returning the truck. Received very little assistance from the Wood’s agent. He marked the truck with 1/4 tank of fuel when I actually had the 5/16 level as system on my contract. Received nothing at time of drop off, but received an invoice rental the next day with nearly $70 in fuel related fees. $30 fuel service fee. $38 and change for what was stated as 7 gallons used to top off tank. The truck was returned with the correct amount of fuel and then your agents tru to overcharge me for fuel and fees they tacked on after I left their location. Poor customer service and shady way to conduct business. I would appreciate a refund for all the unnecessary fuel related expense. More like this is a demand. Then after several days passed we had reserved a 26’ truck. On the day of pickup. You all changed my pickup to a very nice and clean storage/rental hub in Raytown Mo. after completing all paperwork Abdul we were ready to go the agent notified me that I had a status hold on my account for issues related to the 15’ truck. She said their nothing she could to help expedite the situation, but only gave me an 877 # to call.. we called only to placed on potential callback in the next 3 HOURS. Needless to say., I’m very annoyed and it’s near,y 5pm on Monday afternoon. Fortunately we were able to locate and rent a Penske truck from Home Depot. Very smooth dealings Now that we completed our move today(Tuesday) it’s time to address U-Hauls poor Customer Service. First of all when the gal called me to confirm my truck pickup, she should’ve been able tell me that my account has a hold on it. Rather she changed my pick up to another location 30 miles farther away and nearly 1,5 hours wasted because we got stuck in rush hour traffic. By the way. Still waiting for callback as we are hustling to pick up the Penske truck before 6pm. Like I mentioned, pickup on Penske truck went smoothly as arrived about 15 min before they closed Again. No U-Haul call back yet. Now it’s approaching a two hours on the calback Finally, at nearly midnight I device an automated call at approx 11:40Pm. To help you understand, that was a 7 hours to receive a callback. Unacceptable and really poor customer service. Fortunately, I was already asleep, otherwise I would ripped off a few choice words for an excessively long period to wait for a calll back. Glad I want broke down somewhere. To sum up this up. 3 rental contracts in the last 10/days or so. Some small glitches on the trailer. But got it re resolved the next day. 15’ truck. You all OWE ME SOME REFUNDS. Fuel related fees and you all wasting my time. 26’ truck. A Frickn’ disaster. I would appreciate someone to call me back at a reasonable time of the day. Not nearly MidKnight 7 hours later. Thanks

Amanda LThis is our 2nd time renting from here ONLY because it’s the only facility that has the size truck we need. However, both times they have forgotten the dollys we reserved/paid for. The 1st time, the facility was open and I was able to still grab one. This one, we picked up before business hours so we were SOL. I tried calling twice when the facility opened and no one ever answered. So we had to move everything, including a washer and dryer, dresser and 100+lb entertainment center with no dolly. Extremely disappointing. Also, when returning the uhaul, I had to do the process THREE times and finally gave up because it wouldn’t submit. It shouldn’t be that difficult.

Mary HI swept the truck out as instructed and left it in the same condition I got it in with more fuel than I got it with, but I was still charged the extra $25. I obviously just moved and am already in a financially tricky spot, so an almost $70 charge when I put in the effort and was anticipating a $40 charge was really disappointing. Especially because I already had to pay to refuel the truck.
OLIVIA SThe people at this location were professional and friendly. The 10’ truck we rented had tail lights that did not work. We rented it for a 1 way move of 230 miles. My husband drove the truck and I drove our car. I had to stay close behind him and let my car be seen by other vehicles to be safe. This was a very stressful trip because of this.

The cop didn't give me a ticket, but he ran my name and held me up for 30 minutes on the side of the road. Truck off and its cold outside and my pregnant wife was freezing. So I told the lady behind the counter about it and she just said ok, I'll make a note of it. Didn't ask what can she do to fix the issue to make it better or nothing.
