After arriving at the location that I was SUPPOSED to pick up the trailer I rented, I was informed it was at another location. I arrived at a run down motel to find the trailer and this cost me valuable time, which I didn't have. I had to confirm my rental on Sunday for the Monday morning pickup and nothing was said to me about change in location. Poor communication.Thomas D.

I did not appreciate having to do all the work to attain a U-Haul rental. I had to take a picture of my Driver's License with my phone. What if I did not have a smart phone? Furthermore, I did not appreciate having to pay $14.99 for insurance that I DECLINED when I put in a reservation. The woman at this location was not very tech-savvy and the U-Haul process annoyed her it seemed. I will not be going back to this U-Haul rental location. It was dilapidated and made me feel unwelcomed.Devin M.
They were completely unprepared when I arrived a few minutes early for my pick up. The location closed at five which was also my pick up time. Fortunately I did not reserve beyond their limited equipment. The online only option for drop off made for a lengthy process.Elizabeth P.

Use a different location. I went to drop off on the weekend and they were closed. Monday I went around 10am and it said they were open but no one was there. I called the number on the contract and the lady said she was out shopping and to just drop the trailer there with the contract. When I started to disconnect from my car she showed up and said not to leave it there. And I asked for help and she said I am a lady and don't do that kind of work!!!Norman P.

I didn't get to get in contact with this location. I just did a self drop off. It's in the middle of a highway so it was easy to get to but I was confused on the return because the app wasn't working. I just dropped off the keys in the box and left it there. I tried calling next day and still no answer but customer service checked it in for me and all is well.Bobby S.

I made arrangement following day to drop off somewhere else. Agent said i was still only going to be charged same rate not one way. Went thru hell and back oncee i tried to return to agreed place. I should of got a text or email to prove at new dropoff. Thanks to Oioir in scheduling, Fla. Branch issue was taken care of. Because of him i will use uhaul in future. Next time if i change original contract i will hopefully get in email or text form. Oioir keep me as a customer and should adressed for doing so.michael P.

Trailer wiring was too long and not coupled to the tow vehicle effectively. Wiring contacted the road into the trip and severed several wires. As such, trailer lights did not work into the night. I had to contact roadside assistance (reaching someone was a real hassle). Made for a long and tiring night...Michael R.

Truck smelled of dog. During loading discovered dog/cat hair all under the seats. I am allergic to animal hair and had a very difficult time on the 13 hour drive. Animals should not be allowed to travel in a Uhaul, I'd much rather have a truck reek of clove cigar than to deal with animal hair.william W.

Call ahead more than just the day before to set up a pick up location. Give a discount if the customer has to drive 40 minutes out of the way to pick up the truck. It's pretty shocking news when you get a call the day before pick up only to find out that there's no truck within city limits in that size or the next largest size. Very irresponsible, and incredibly bad management. Will definately never use or recommend UHAUL to anyone.
