Make it clear that the gas needs to be brought back at the same level and not full. I wasted $18 filling up the tank because someone else failed to do so. The man behind the counter said to fill it up, but when I came back he said just fill it to where it was. Really unfair and unclearADAM A.
when i reteurned the truck, the person on duty did not do a walkthrough with me and then charged me a $50.00 cleaning fee for black marks on the deck. When i asked him for before and after pictures they sent me picture of black scuffs on the floor and never produced pictures of the truck before i rented it. A complete scam.George H.

Picking up vehicle was very difficult. Employee from Windward location came to this location, told me he could not help me that I must call 1-800 number. Waited over 30 minutes and ended up driving to McFarland to get a number to talk to Bill who assisted to get combination to lockbox so that I could pick-up rental. Very, very disappointing that U-Haul is trying to keep location functional with no personnel at location to help customers.Keith M.
Appreciate the availability on short notice. Wish the truck was a little newer with a few more comfort/convenience features. Also, refilling at the end of my trip is challenging when the tank wasn't full to start with. How do I know how fuel to add?EMILEE A.
I spent over 2 hours on the phone with corporate (Ian was awesome by the way), because the store was closed. This delay caused the labor I had scheduled to pack the truck had to leave. So I had no help. Plus, this rental was made to haul items to my daughter's wedding. Glad we scheduled a day ahead of time or we would have been screwed. To top it off, your support guy said he would add free miles to the rental which did not appear to happen. How would you feel after all that? Probably like not coming back.Thomas F.

This location provides a wonderful customer experience! The owner works hard to alleviate all the pain caused by U-Haul corporate systems and policies. For instance, when I returned the vehicle all I had to do was give him the key and then he processed the return and emailed me the receipt. There was no outrageous $20 â€œconvenience feeâ€! There are definite issues with returning on line after hours. I sat in the parking lot for OVER AN HOUR trying to check in the truck. First my phone wouldn't share location then wouldn't share photos then wouldn't complete and send. I called customer service after 30 minutes and then was on hold for almost 20 min before a representative answered the phone. I do not have much on my phone so do not understand all the issues. The truck was old. I've rented with other services, such as Penske, and the truck was significantly nicer. The seats were not as comfortable in this truck and the tech was not nearly the same caliber. The truck said there were USB and 120V ports and it didn't have either. There was no cruise control, like other company's trucks have. The Penske truck I rented also had a rear view camera, which was super helpful, and this didn't have anything like that. It was low mileage so I thought it would have newer tech, but it just felt very cheap. Would not rent with UHaul again.Tawil C.

The employees were pleasant but they didn't hookup the trailer correctly. The chain was low and started to drag. Partway on my trip I heard jingling and pulled off. The chain was completely unhooked and the electrical cable was worn in half. Luckily there was a uhaul location only minutes away and they fixed everything. I was very lucky I didn't have a wreck or lose the trailer. If they correctly connect in the future I would recommend them and rate them higher.CHERYL M.

No problems. Smooth rental. Great location! I was particularly impressed with the van itself - I rented a Ford 9' cargo van and it worked flawlessly and was quite comfortable to drive. And, it had a very capable cargo capacity of around 3500 pounds which was adequate for my needs.Gordon C.

The 2 people who helped me explained the process since this was my first time renting were amazing...they explained how the equipment all worked on the truck and I was good to go Great first time experience ... One small glick is when I checked out the truck the person inputted the mileage incorrectly as 300,000 miles and not 30,000 miles... the owner wrote a note on my contract explain the typo! Otherwise all was good (until I got to FL)...Thank youLawrence R.

I was charge for not cleaning the van I get it, but then we over fill the tank of gas and did not get credit!! ðŸ˜¡ That sucks! And then they were reading the contract over again to me like if I didn't know how to read! I am not ever renting there again! I usually rent trucks from Homedepot.
