The cargo van had an awful smell and was extremely filthy in the cabin as well as the cargo area. I had to lay my furniture in this filth. The unbearable scent, dirt, and disgusting looking germs caused me to feel nauseous. I’m still experiencing vomiting episodes. Because of these unsanitary conditions, I should receive a refund for the amount of the rental. I’ve used Uhaul many times for my rental needs. To prevent future customers from experiencing the same issues I experienced, this cargo van should be thoroughly sanitized prior to the next rental.
Linda DI ordered furniture pads, but they were not in the truck. I marked this on the pre-move survey, but did not go back in to talk to management about it, since I had some old blankets with me. When I got my receipt, I was charged $96 for not returning the furniture pads I was never given, despite the fact that I marked it on the survey as missing. I was willing to overlook the $10 rental cost without having them, but not the $96 for something I never got to begin with. There is an ongoing dispute claim right now, so they may still fix it.
