Michael GMy last several rentals have not started with a full tank. That in itself is not a problem but I think it would be good if your pickup process included submitting a pic of both the odometer and fuel gauge to start with, in order to avoid any disagreement.
Paul SI say all you guys have to do is just keep on doing what you’ve been doing! In other words if it works don’t fix it.
