This was a very frustrating experience for us. Moving is hard enough and adding a frustrating U-haul experience did not make it any better. I reserved my Uhaul truck WEEKS ago if not over a month ago. When I was an hour away from picking up my reserved truck, I was called to tell me that the truck wasn't available because the previous renter did not return it. I had people in place to move my items and places I had to be once loaded and it took over 4 hours for them to get me a truck. In addition, the much needed hand truck that I reserved was not available and I was told that they had plenty there, but the manager told them to rent them to whoever came in first, despite me reserving one and telling the person on duty that I needed one. They were nice enough to loan me a hand truck WITH a flat tire. On the return side, I specified the location where I needed to return it, only to get a call that they weren't accepting trucks because their lot was full. I doubt that I will ever rent from Uhaul again. Customers that take the time to reserve items don't seem to be the priority. SUPER Frustrating.

Danny HApparently I brought in the truck a few cents worth of gas short of what they wanted, and I was charged 37 bucks extra for it. 30 for service charge and 7 for a whole gallon of gas which is insane as I put in 2.5 gallons before I brought it back and only drove 28 miles. You do the math. When I called to inquire why this happened, I was told there was only 1/4 tank. But I filled it up between 3/8 and 1/2 like my contract requested. So based on the arbitrary interpretation of the reading of a gas gage in a 25 year old truck being a centimeter too far in one direction, i was forced to pay 37 dollars. SCAM.
