Truck was not swept and there was an entire disassemble crib and scrap woods in the bed. AC was not working which was miserable for a summer move

Val-U auto is a company that is generally regarded as untrustworthy. They run a monopoly on towing in the area where they overcharge and nickel and dime everyone. I returned the vehicle early and felt obligated to take pictures as proof from over charging of late fees and gas penalties. I’m glad I did.
Andrew CTook an hour to get our truck and they didn’t even have the additional equipment we had booked. Given, our original pickup location was changed the night before so they did the best they could for not being a full service location, but I was not happy to have my pickup time delayed by two hours and then have to wait an additional hour, which pushed our timeline back the rest of the day.
Matthew SRefund customer for gas in tank over 7/16 when returned. Gas prices are extremely high these days. So this would help out the customer…making them more likely to rent again.
Christopher MYour focus is definitely not on renting U-Haul trucks! You never answered your phone : I made several attempts to contact you by phone before I arrived there. So, I believe that; if I hadn't walked in there; to inquire and obtain your services; I don't know if I would have ever connected with you And I don't believe you were very forthright in communicating the terms at the time of the rental; when we created this contract. Also: The gas gauge in the truck that I rented was broken! That truck did NOT have a full tank of gas when we left the lot with it. The gas gauge was broken I know it for a fact because when I went to refill the tank at the end of the move; the gas gauge never went all the way back to full despite putting $67.00 back into it. I feel that I had to put in much more gas than was necessary to refill that tank. (60 miles was all that was driven in less than 12 hours; in this 10 foot truck) NOBODY told me that I had to return the truck to where I rented it. I have never rented a U-Haul before. And I do not believe I will ever require your services in the future.
