The location was a great help. The U-Haul system and terms are a disaster and I will never again rent from you. I reserved a truck and trailer for a specific date. This was for you to make it available to me and make whatever arrangements were necessary. I received a phone call 3 days before pickup saying it was not available in a realistic location. I will not drive 10 hrs round trip to pick up a rental then pay gas & mileage because you couldn’t forecast accurately. This location provided me a smaller truck and a trailer, and I had to pay more for these items than the larger truck I had booked. I had to pay two deposits despite using a visa debit which they said I would get back upon drop off. At the drop off they said I should not have been charged a deposit if it was a card. Also because they used the stores debit machine not the U-Haul the drop off location has been unable to refund my card. I was supposed to receive a phone call today to enable payment to my card but this did not happen. U-Haul is unreliable, unconcerned with providing realistic service in rural areas, completely without human sympathy or customer service and they leave their locations scrambling to deal with the human fallout of their unrealistic idiotic policies & procedures.

Jeffrey FUpon making my reservation online, they gave me an option for the amount of time I needed it in the drop-down menu. It only gave me an option for two days. I clicked the option need more time when I went went to the store to pick it up I explained to the lady how long I would need it for for the week when I returned it. I was told it was five days too late and my reservation was only for two days when I explained to the woman when I rented it how long I would need it for and apparently she only put in two days so what would’ve been a $250 bill turned into a $700 bill I’m extremely frustrated
